It used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Berlin some years ago, but now the food lost it's quality. Plating looks much better now but flavours are one-dimensional, very plain with no contrast or texture. Some years ago the food looked simpler but it had far more complex and rich flavours. It seems that they sacrificed flavour for appearance. Overall good restaurant but nothing special and somehow pretentious.

Kleines Restaurant mit leckerem Essen. Nicht günstig. Leider wurde uns erst beim Servieren mitgeteilt, dass die Nudeln heute eine andere Füllung haben als auf der Karte angegeben. War lecker, hätte man aber auch beim Bestellen sagen können.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant in Kreuzberg. I had Linguica and clams and a wonderful bottle of wine (image attached). Prices were fair, but definitely on the pricier side for the neighborhood. The waitress (I think was the owner) spoke wonderful Italian and German, but English was definitely not a strong suite so I ended up pointing and grunting a lot to order. Read the chalkboard before you sit down since the majority of the menu is on it.

Totally worth the hype! Beautiful tasty dishes, and despite the fancier food, the ambience is pretty cozy. Thank you!

Excellent Italian restaurant, the food tastes italian , service was good and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We had veal and fish and it was really good.

What a wonderful restaurant. We have lived in Rome, Calabria, and Sicily, and we have not had better than the food at Maselli. The caponata was sublime and incredibly tasty. The burrata salad with melanzana was delightfully fresh and flavorful. The pork chop was delicious, moist, tender, and plentiful. Kudos to Chef Pasqale! We felt after a hard day of transatlantic travel that we were invited into a home. The kindness and interest shown to us by Axel and Noah made us so comfortable. It was like getting a big hug!

Vielen Dank für den netten Abend. Die Wein Empfehlung war super. Das Ambiente gut und der Service wunderbar. Ein Punkt Abzug mache ich für die Quantität. Preis war für die Hauptspeise und das Dessert zu teuer.

Love this place! It has amazing home made dishes and a changing seasonal menu. I got pumpkin filled raviolis with black truffle and it was probably one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. It is medium pricey for berlin standards but so much better in quality than other Italians that might lure you in with cheap prices. I can only recommend this place and it's staff 🙌

Wir haben dieses Restaurant aufgrund einer Empfehlung besucht und es nicht bereut. Obwohl es etwas höherpreisig ist, bietet es eine ausgezeichnete Qualität beim Essen. Während die gewählte Vorspeise vielleicht nicht unbedingt ein Highlight war, waren wir von den anderen Gerichten (Rind, Lamm und das Parfait als Nachspeise) absolut begeistert. Die Qualität des Essens hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. (Das Parfait sollte aber am besten nur einmal zum Teilen bestellt werden, da es tatsächlich sehr mächtig ist.) Der Service war hervorragend und hat unseren Besuch noch angenehmer gestaltet. Leider war das Ambiente an diesem Samstagabend nicht ganz so entspannt, da eine laute Gruppe im Restaurant war – hierfür kann das Lokal natürlich nichts. Auf der schönen Terrasse konnten wir aufgrund des Wetters nicht sitzen. Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht, aber es scheint, dass man auch kurzfristig ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen kann. Insgesamt war unser Besuch sehr zufriedenstellend, und wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Very nice and cozy place for good Italian cuisine. The food was great, with some vegetarian options and a specials menu written on the wall. Had a nice selection of wines. The starters were the best part of the meal. The Burata salad was amazing and the seafood salad. The staff didn't know too much English but they were very nice and understanding. Highly recommend.

I'm Italian and until I lived in Berlin, Maselli was the only place where I could eat Italian food "respectful" of the Italian tradition but with an eye to contemporary kitchen. The waiters are very nice and they have been working there forever which is also a sign that the owners are treating them well. Every time there is something different but I always try to go on the fish. Desserts are also very good.

Whenever I crave delicious food, this is my go-to spot. The menu changes often, keeping things fresh. They serve Sicilian wine paired perfectly with their dishes, each one meticulously crafted. The seasoning is just right, letting the ingredients shine. Whether with family or on a date, it's a great place to unwind and enjoy

The experience was amazing. I had marvellous paccheri with on squid ink and mussels. The cooker could be definitely addressed as an artist. All in all, it was absolutely delicious. Service was kind , respectful and attentive. I can only recommend Maselli . I have to admit , as I have been going to several Italian restaurants, that Maselli is the best you can find in Kreuzberg definitely.

We've been going to Maselli's for dinner for years. The food and wine are consistently delicious and the service impeccable. We were thrilled that despite a change in ownership, all of this remains true! And now they also (finally!) have lunch service.

It was a nice surprise on both the quality of every dish and the nice service from the whole team. The dishes are outstanding, real and fresh Italian flavours in Berlin. We had the opportunity to trey more than 5 different dishes and all of them were very high quality. I would definitely recommend it. Congratulations for the good service

Very nice italian restaurant with weekly menu that offers a wide variety of dishes pasta, fish, meat, seasonal vegetables, you can make sure it's always fresh. The pasta are very nice and taste truly Italian. We have been there a couple of times and if it gets busy expect to wait a bit but the owner has eyes everywhere for her guests so she will ensure you leave the place happy.

It's the best Italian restaurant in Kreuzberg, if not in Berlin. I love the seasonal menu, the good wine, the rich texture of the food, the atmosphere. The staff is very nice and friendly. Definitely one of my favourite places in this city that I am always returning to.

Overpriced food in a place where they take more reservations than what they can handle. Expect to wait more than an hour for each plate. Some dishes are ok other poor, but the bad manners attending customers and the excessive pricing makes better to avoid this place
