It is a must see if you are going to Garmisch. It is an ideal starting point for a hike also. The waterfalls are amazing. There are couple of steep parts of the track which leads to the bridge. But nothing impossible.

This waterfall is amazingly beautiful. It takes about 30 minutes or so walking from Farchant train or bus station to this waterfall. Along the way, you will enjoy the views of the forest around. This is an easy to medium hiking as the mountain is a bit steep for some parts. But it is really worth the effort. This place is a must for hikers. You will thank me for recommending this waterfall to you.

It was a wonderful visit. The natural beauty is surreal. The waterfall and the river is delight to watch. The hike is steep so I would rate it medium, depending on what time you plan to visit. The trail is sometimes slippery because of frozen steps.

This is a real find. It's a beautiful spot that is really accessible to most, the path is a well maintained gravel path. You could reach the main bridge with the big waterfalls in 45 minutes, but it would be better to enjoy the journey and longer at the many spots where you can see the cascading water work its way down into the valley. To note: the way up is the way down. We parked at the sports field, but there are several points to access this trail.

It's a pretty serious hike up the slippery trail, and much more intense is the way down, so be sure to have the right shoes or gear, especially when snowing. The falls are very nice and the track is cool.

The walk to here is really nice along the river with many waterfalls and views. The final waterfall is nice and would be amazing to see with lots of water. The waking path is mostly without any stairs however there are quite steep parts

Sensationell, very convincing to watch and feel the power. Make sure you climb up the hill after the bridge, its worth it!

It's a nice hike with a waterfall at the end as you can see in the pictures. It's not the Victoria Falls so don't expect a huge waterfall, but it is very nice. I'd guess it's about a mile (~2500m) all the way to the end, one way. There are some short sections that are a bit steep, so be aware of that. At the end of the trail there is an extra stairway you can climb that takes you back to another area of the falls. The stairs and the path are steep as well. All the steep areas are short, maybe around 100m or 200m long, so the "tough" parts don't last for long. Also for people not familiar, there are 2-3m wide "gates" that you have to open in a couple of spots to get to the trail. Just go ahead an open them to get through and then close them behind you. Park at P2 to be at the closest point to the trailhead.

Definitely worth visiting the waterfalls. If you travel by train, you can go to the station Farchant and it took us two hours to see all the waterfalls and come back to the station. In hot summer days you have an opportunity to cool down and enjoy the cold air next to the waterfalls. Follow the signs “Kuhfluchtwasserfälle” and don’t hesitate to climb up to the end of the path.

What a wonderful place and what better activity when most of Germany is locked down due to COVID. Above the bridge has amazing views but as previously said gets quite steep in places. Certainly highlights your level of fitness (or lack of in my case) :-) Pristine, breathtaking and free.

This is such a wonderful place to go hiking. It takes you a bit effort but it is well worth it. The view is amazing! You won't regret spending time here. If you want to have an unforgettable experience, then grab your gear. 😀

It is definitely worth a visit. Not far from Munich. Parking is nice with very modern toilet so obviously not a free parking. And you can hike way up to different peaks.
