😠 Terrible service, reception staff are nice and the Greek dentist that we used to see was fantastic. She has now gone. We keep getting appointments moved, the latest appointment cancelation we were not even informed of, so we turned up for nothing! We were promised things would be ready and now told... Terrible service, reception staff are nice and the Greek dentist that we used to see was fantastic. She has now gone. We keep getting appointments moved, the latest appointment cancelation we were not even informed of, so we turned up for nothing! We were promised things would be ready and now told (again) things won't arrive on time. The dental treatment was time sensitive as well and plans made around them, with a buffer in case things were delayed! Time and money wasted here!!! We'll be moving our family to another practice.

Despite missing my usual 6 month check up Susan very kindly agreed to see me last minute for an emergency appointment. Service excellent as always. If you have a fear of the dentist and needles as I do, I can not recommend Susan highly enough for her patience and gentle coaxing to help get you through.

I have been a patient at mydentist for a number of years and would recommend them most highly. I recently went for my annual check up and as always the reception staff were welcoming and efficient. I was slightly apprehensive because I was being seen by a new dentist but I shouldn't have worried, the lady in question quickly put me at ease. Her examination was very thorough and she was full of praise and very encouraging about my standard of dental hygiene. No problems were found and I left feeling very satisfied with the whole experience.

We booked two appointments in February for July time that was cancelled with no given reason and moved to December 31st. We both received a text 45minutes before our appointments saying that our December booking has been cancelled as well. (Edit) Cancelled again!

Was a little apprehensive, as usual, for a dental appointment, especially as I had requested an extraction. My fears proved unfounded as the whole experience showed what can be achieved with care, consideration and medical expertise. Not expensive either, as an NHS Patient. Very impressed. Thanks to everyone in the practice for yesterday.

I have used mydentist Berkhamsted for many years & have always found them to be professional offering the highest level of care. My recent visit was arranged promptly & the covid measures in place made me feel very secure. Highly recommended

I was very pleased with the service I received at MyDentist, Berkhamsted. Modupe Fasanya was very professional and kept me informed of the work required. She was very friendly and put me at my ease. The dental assistants were really good and helped a very nervous patient come away with a positive experience. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Dr Dorota Palfi is amazing, she has been my dentist for over 15 years. And I now see her as my family’s dentist. When I visit with my 6 year old son Dr Palfi has the magic touch, she is engaging and fun so my boy genuinely enjoys a dentist visit. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Very happy with Dorota. Very careful, considerate and always professional. Offer choices where choose exists and I always happy with the result. Great job, thanks.

Tell you they don’t have availability and you have to wait over a year on a waiting list but would happily take £40 for you for consultation and £190 for a filling . No service to the community whatsoever .

I would highly recommend anyone to attend this excellent very professional surgery. I've been using it for years, and is without a doubt the best dentist surgery I've ever used.

After struggling for nine months to get an appointment (this is my local dentist, where my kids go), I finally got one to see the hygienist. Due to traffic, I was 5 minutes late, apologised over the phone, but was made to feel like a criminal when I arrived. I explained that my teeth weren't looking their best as I had been unable to get an appointment for a long time, and was told 'I don't want to talk about that, I'm too busy'. The treatment was perfunctory at best, and then the hygienist was rude as I said goodbye. I left seventy quid lighter and feeling pretty upset. I will be going elsewhere in future, it might be conveniently located but it's not worth being treated like that!

I have been a customer at my dentist for as long as I can remember! Usually their service is fantastic however this year they seem to have been understaffed and it has taken me over 6 months to get an appointment. I paid privately to have Invisalign, (I was super happy with the results) but unfortunately my permeant retainer broke which resulted in my teeth moving over the 6 month period that they were unable to see me for which is super frustrating and they still charged me in full.

Sadly, this once very good dental practice has been going rapidly downhill for the last couple of years. High turnover of staff, cancelled appointments, unsatisfactory explanations. I even had to walk out with my family after waiting for over an hour with no communication from reception staff (but lots of whispering between them) and something clearly going on with the new dentist - the practice manager wondering around aimlessly failing to sort the fiasco out! If it hadn’t been so frustrating as a patient it would have been quite comical. Think Fawlty Towers!

I am registered at this practice for NHS dental care. When one of my teeth broke in half I telephoned for an urgent appointment. I couldn't get through, but left three messages throughout the day, but received no response. In desperation I drove into the town and visited in person. The two receptionists were unable to book an appointment because they 'were having lunch', but promised to ring me in the afternoon. They rang the next day to say that my dentist had left the practice but I could have an appointment with a dentist called Susan. I can honestly say that I have never met a more rude and arrogant, unpleasant individual! Lack of bedside manner doesn't even come close! She lectured me, tried to sell all kinds of private services, then announced that 'none of this is available on the NHS'. I was then shunted out the door and told I'd have to find another NHS dentist. My wife asked me to book her an appointment while I was there..."Sorry, her dentist has also left, so she can't have an appointment"! How does this crooked set up have an NHS contract? It looks like the Tories' destruction of the NHS is now complete in the dental sector, but there's plenty left for them to wreck elsewhere in healthcare.

Tried calling for an appointment over the last week. Finally got through to be told they would have to ask if they could take me on due to not being there for a while. Had no call back as promised so had to call them. Was told it would be as a private patient only.......There was reasons why I haven't but couldn't be bothered to ask.

I was meant to have two appointments this week, the hygienist appt got cancelled two weeks ago with no reason and the dentist appt got cancelled with 2 days notice because the dentist quit? As if this is an entirely unforeseeable event?? Anyway I can't even rebook because they won't be taking bookings for another 3-4 WEEKS. It doesn't take a chat with the practice manager to know that people don't like it when you cancel at short notice.

I received top class 5* service from Zoe the hygienist. She is simply the best.

Absolutely horrific service. Go elsewhere. I was due to have a tooth extraction on Friday and turned up to find the dentist shut! I wasn’t alone. An old man was behind me assuming he was being seen at 3:30. When I rang the practice and explained this I had to ask for an apology as the receptionist didn’t seem to think it was worth apologising for. I took a day off work - wasted my time - after I add, getting a REMINDER to text to attend my appointment. Recently I have had awful service here being booked in for appointments that were unnecessary - such as when I rang up asking if my daughter had been referred to an orthodontist- rather than say ‘yes’ they got me an expensive private appointment only to be told in it she had been referred months before. A chaotic mess with staff who do not care about patients. Avoid.

Individual staff are nice but they’ve really let patients down in how they managed the reopening post Covid. The mydentist group keeps sending out emails saying they’re open but the local branch don’t have the PPE to even do a filling! Everywhere else seems open and is helping patients but Mydentist are weeks behind and struggling to reopen properly. Then when they do they start adding exorbitant surcharges for PPE (£35 extra if you want even basic things like a filling). The way the company is run is a shambles.

I really can't fault their service. Had a full check up and clean by Isha today. She was very thorough, and gave me great advice. Thank you.

I find the dentist are really good here. Parking is difficult here though, as it is all along this part of town.

Total failure since COVID. Can't get an appointment no matter what you do. Not sure if they're even open as I can't even get through on the phone...

Thought I needed a filling, called the surgery, the dentist called me back later Monday and appointment for Tuesday. From when I arrived, the staff were professional and courteous and the treatment was excellent(no filling needed). I have attended this practice for years and treatment has always been exemplary. Would highly recommend them.

Rude, and particularly if you are a foreigner. The moment they spot you have an accent they look at you with disgust. This is the only dentist my daughter goes from crying and dreads appointments.

Not at all fond of Dentists. In fact, if it were a choice between a sitting in a Dentist chair or reciting Shakespeare on top of Home & Colonial dressed in a ballerina dress, well I'd be dusting off the old tu-tu without hesitation. Truth be told I'm terrified of Dentists. So it was with no small degree of trepidation that I took the hot seat for the first time last week. I was in for a very pleasant surprise. The people I had already cast as demons were actually pretty easy to talk to. They listened and understood and seemed genuinely keen to put me at ease. In fact the whole experience, from booking in at Reception, to closing the door on the way out, was totally relaxed and professional. Don't get me wrong.. I'd still sooner be someplace else, but when the need arises I wouldn't want to find myself in any other hot seat.

Dr. Koutsou is extremely attentive, professional and welcoming. Most importantly, Dr. Koutsou advises us with utmost integrity on our dental needs. I and my family happily travel to the Berkhamsted branch from London for this wonderful dentist.
