    A five-star review for a McDonald’s! I stopped here on the way home from a job as I fancied a light snack for the journey. A large car park that’s on a bit of hill with the option of a drive-thru should you want it. I fancied stirring inside on this occasion which has the benefit of free wi-fi should you require it… I personally just use my 5G but ideal for kids etc or if there’s a lack of signal. I opted for a wrap with no cucumber 🥒 and I’m pleased to say they got it right! Only £1.99 too as it was the wrap of the day! Plus a bottle of water on the side. I ordered via the self-service screen and chose to utilise table service as this saves hanging around near the till for no reason! You do also have the option of ordering on your phone and either having the food brought out to your car or by using the number on the table. (As can be seen in my pics). The restaurant was clean and service was fast, I’d say it took no longer than 1-2 mins for my food to arrive. Toilets were clean (Men’s at least!).

    Not having had a Mac for some time - this visit was a disappointment. Firstly the printer for the bill failed so no means of giving the usual feedback. Table service was fast by a very friendly Iona. Unfortunately the ketchup dispenser was empty so had to request sachets at counter. On trying the fries they were barely warm - and had that flat taste that cold potato has. So a return to the counter was necessary - but they were exchanged very quickly - and I thought I'd get my partner's changed too - but no proof of purchase! However (Christian? - sorry if I remembered your name wrongly) he didn't hesitate to replace those too. By the time I returned to my partner she had eaten all her chips - because they were not very hot, she said. So bit of a truncated meal - made even more unpleasant by supposed humans at next table throwing everything they didn't want on the floor in such a mess. I suppose you can't stop such animals using the facilities but that's the trouble with MacD! Last time in Penge the table clearer contaminated the whole restaurant with BO (as in Body Odour - clearly emanating from her underarms (probably mostly!)) So that's probably why takeaway is very popular. A route that I will take in future.

    I have been using this MacDonalds for a number of years. It is normally surprisingly busy. It always smells of cannabis, especially members of the staff, who are slow and unhelpful. It can be quite a rough area as well. I have often had to send back food as it was incorrect or had other problems like being cold or past it’s serving time. About the only plus for it is that the introductions of the screens for ordering food has improved the accuracy of the order, but has increased the time. Then went to use it last night via the drive through and was first ignored, so went around to the other order point and was refused to be served.

    This really was an abysmal experience. Using the touch screens inside now means you wait a hell of a lot longer than you used to in a McDonalds. It used to be walking up to a counter, ordering food with a human, they put it on the tray in front of you, pay then go eat. Now you will wait a minimum of 10 minutes for food and you better remember that order number, because those machines receipt printing are never working. To make things worse, they prepare your order around the corner as items become available. So it's instantly getting cold. No more of that hot rack you used to see behind the counter. The place is a mess. I'm not going back.

    Cold fries, wrong chicken Legand. Wrong dip with chicken selects even though I specifically asked at the “2nd window” like the guy who had trouble speaking English to me. Also, you order one item. Anything else. Does that complete your order. The new menus on the drive through don’t actually show a menu! Pointless calling all they will say is please bring it back we will replace it. Forget it I’ll cook something. There won’t be a second chance here.

    Ordered via the app prior to arriving to avoid waiting with my little one. Pointless as we had to wait in the bays anyway,wouldn't normally be bothered by this but they forgot part of our order. There was a huge queue for the drive thru so decided to go in instead. Waited for over 5 mins and had no acknowledgement from any staff member (there was a queue forming behind me) I eventually got the attention of a staff member who I explained part of my order was missing. Their reply.. really, well what? I told them and eventually they returned with missing item. No apology, no offer of compensation , just plain rude. I explained I had been waiting for over 5 mins and the rest of our meals will now be cold, lady said just give her chips. At this point the bag was shoved in my face and off she walks. I know McDonald's is pants food anyway, but it's even worse when it's cold. Needless to say next time I'd rather eat my dogs food.

    Thieves. I ordered 4 mayo chicken, paying with a £20 note. The cashier only gave me £4.84. I pointed out to him that I gave him 20 and he told me it was only 10. I'm sure it was 20 because I only had 20 banknotes. Unfortunately, the doors are locked and there is a long queue for drivers. So people, watch out for this young guy because he's stealing change.

    The food is always good here. Great coffee and very helpful staff. However, none of this detracts from the fact that the Tories have broken everything. Rishi Sunak has In the last 12 months he’s brought in an anti strike law to rob millions of workers of their right to strike New laws will strip back our right to protest & limit our rights to judicial review The elections Act will lock millions of people out of the electoral process - a blatant act of voter suppression by the Government.     I pass from here to go to work and I stop by at least twice a month (my cholesterol could not take more than that!!) to have a quick breakfast, what I am ordering normally? The double sausage and egg macmuffin, with extra bacon and butter (if you have to sin , SIN GREATLY (or don't sin at all)). YUMMMMM I have the mouth watering only thinking of that!!

    The marks would probably be the same for another McDonald's as the problem is the way all they now work. Far too much time waiting for your order whilst standing in a mass of people plus all the delivery drivers doesn't make a trip to McDonald's a very enjoyable experience. Food is no better than when you waited 2 minutes and it came out of the production bin. As for the atmosphere all the stores lost that with all the changes in the past decade.

    Used drive through on the app. Drive through very quiet but we just got drinks and told to park in bays, as usual people eating their meal in grill bays?? So parked in disabled, we have a blue badge, cars still being sent to park with nobody queuing in drive through, why keep taking orders??? Food good, extra portion of chips, all good.

    Not bad as McDonalds go. Always very busy here but it is on side of A41 so to be expected. Food can be hit and miss sometimes but no issues at all today - all food fresh and piping hot for a change

    Most anemic chip I've ever set eyes on. Literally so pale it was almost transparent 🤢. As the chip slithered down my throat it was almost as if I had swallowed a slug. The soggy texture of the chip were that of mashed potato. Whoever made this chip should be SACKED. I am traumatized and currently in bad state mentally and physically.

    Normally we mainly have a good experience here (1x cold chips but these were replaced) but today someone thought a good idea to put a Spicy Coated Chicken in the Mc bacon and chicken salad. I have allergies and the Chilli hot spicy burger gave me an asthma attack. Thank you! So this is not okay. 30 minutes later stil burning mouth and breathing. I did not eat it after initial large bite. We had driven away so could not of come back to complain ********This needs to be looked at for allergy purposes********** 2 only given for service as we could not hear them and they could not hear us.

    McDonalds food is what it is. I ordered a burger without pickles (the label on the box confirmed this) yet it came with pickles. Its not the 1st time that mistakes have been made! Question yourself, what if I were allergic to the pickles and had bitten one? Would I be here (at home) writing this review or in hospital? New rule of thumb when ordering at McDonald's, always check the food in detail that is is exactly what was ordered.

    Didn't have cards on me, only cash, waited at counter for over 15 minutes before I got served, was told sorry had lots of online orders. Food is never good, just occasionally convenient, Manager also had argument with delivered driver while I was there. Apparently he turns up too earlier for the orders, poor lad

    It was a drive through and you ask me about atmosphere?? The service was a little rubbish because for the first time in my life I had someone screw up two chicken nugget meals into one meal and two drinks, but maybe it was someone's first day. It was fine, it got sorted. I will always love this branch though, because they have never ever, since they opened, told me the chocolate milkshakes were out of order!

    Ordered using the machine. Easily signed into my McDonald's app using the code (to get the reward points), no issue. Large'ish order, consisting of 1 medium meal & 1 large meal and some spare burgers for my mates, including a free burger from the app. Only took 7 minutes to get the food. Food was tasty, fresh, hot & the chips had salt on them 🙌. The restaurant was slightly busy, with football fans heading to matches, and so the Gents toilets were under par!

    Out of all the McDonald's you stumble Into this one is spotless, clean, spacious and the food is actually decent! Fresh at least and not like alot of of the other warm sloppy madness I've had handed to me in other branches. Small service area, good sized car park! After a long drive finding this made my lunch break 😃

    I ordered 4 items today and only 2 of them were correct. I ordered (and paid the extra for) Classic Coke but got one of the diet versions, yuk! Lid not depressed but floor lady changed with no problems. Ahh... that's better! Then I bit into my Sweet Chilli Grilled Chicken Wrap. Despite saying Chilli on the sticker it was a Garlic Mayonnaise one! (See photo.) Not too bad, but it does suggest that someone who was expecting to bite into a garlic mayo one may get a shock to discover that they have a chilli one!

    After taking payment and accepting your Uber Eats order they never progress the order or deliver it, even several hours later. This has happened multiple times. Staff are equally unhelpful on the phone. If you cannot fulfil orders due to lack of drivers, do not accept them or remove yourself from Uber Eats. Don't just leave customers hanging endlessly. Time wasters. AVOID.

    The service here is always haphazard, but I went through the drive through (it's spelt through not thru McDonald's) and this was my vegetarian egg and cheese McMuffin I got to enjoy when home.
