I would give this place -5 stars if I could. This past fall I came in with the flu. I have a history of severe asthma—I have to take advair everyday to keep my asthma managed from getting asthma attacks and bronchitis (which is in their records since my primary care doctor is at the Hamilton Mill location). She sent me on my way without tamiflu. After realizing my asthma puts me in great danger with severe asthma, I called a day later and requested to have the tamiflu called in. I was also coughing non stop and not getting better a day after my visit (after a week of symptoms). I’m a single mom and teacher with no family near by, so I can’t afford to miss work. After missing a week of work and trying to return, I realized my symptoms were not getting better and were worsening. I went in again and told them I couldn’t find my nebulizer at home and that I needed breathing treatments and medicine to take at home. They did a breathing treatment on me and sent me home with nothing. After missing 2 weeks of work, I was still very sick and returned for a third visit the 3rd week with the flu. Once again I mentioned needing a nebulizer and medication to take at home. They did an x ray to check for pneumonia and just sent me home with no medication and not even the results of my x ray for pneumonia. I called the urgent care to request a nebulizer and medication for the nebulizer and they said, “Oh, you’re the woman who was demanding tamiflu”. Then they proceeded to tell me I would need to come in for another visit to get a prescription for a nebulizer and medication for it. You would think that 3 visits and 3 weeks of the flu would be enough evidence for them to realize I needed more medication support for my asthma and the flu together. But no. Since this place is always sending nurse practitioners in to diagnose you, they don’t know what they’re doing and the patient ends up suffering and falling through the cracks. After missing 3 weeks of work and income, I realized this place would let me die and lose my job if I left it up to them. So the next day after leaving this urgent care with no remediation of my health, I made an appointment at Health Choice Urgent Care-Hamilton Mill. Health choice did an x ray for pneumonia and did breathing treatments on me. Then they wrote me a prescription for a nebulizer and very strong medicine to use in it. I was better and my symptoms improved in just 2 days. So the moral to this story is, if you want to die or have no improvement of your symptoms and if you want to lose tons of income from no relief of serious sickness, choose NEGA Urgent Care Dacula. They will definitely provide negligence and keep you sick. If you want to get better and return to work fast, pick anywhere other than this urgent care. Needless to say, I will never return here. I could get hit by a car right in front of their building and I would still request to be driven somewhere else. This is the worst health services I have ever received in the 40 years of my life. However, their Braselton location is amazing and that’s where I go now. But I will NEVER EVER return here again.

My husband and I brought in our 14 month old this evening. A medical assistant brought us back from the waiting room. The medical assistant did not introduce herself and spoke very hastily, so we never got a name. She weighed my son first. She asked “does he weight 21 pounds?” I was confused as to why she was asking me how much he weighed if she was the one taking his weight. I told her it sounded about right. The last time my son was weighed was at a pediatrician appointment. She asked normal questions about symptoms etc. and then she placed a pulse ox onto my sons finger. My toddler was upset and she turned to me and very rudely stated “do you not have a toy for him?” I ignored that comment and looked for a toy in the diaper bag. She then asked about allergies. I told her my son was allergic to an antibiotic. I could not recall which one it was because my son had taken two that had very similar names in the past. She could not find it in the system. She asked me again what it was and I was trying to back date and figure out which one it was. She then in a very firm tone stated “ I need for you to tell me!” I asked for a different medical assistant right as the NP walked in the room. We did not have a negative experience with the NP. However I am writing this review because I think it is very wrong for healthcare personnel to speak to patients in the manner that she did. As a mother with a 14 month old who is sick, it was very disappointing to be spoken to like this. This medical assistant needs to have some training on bedside mannerisms. I would like to be in contact with someone about this.

NO URGENCY. Spare yourself the charge and go to the hospital. Inefficient, unorganized, unprofessional. Because of a lack of haste a life threatening disease went unaddressed. And they simply responded they didn’t have results. Likely to result in lawsuits for negligence. Seriously, if you care about being taken care of by compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful physicians this is not where to go. Most definitely do not bring your children here.

Steer clear if you are wanting any kind of compassion. Tonight I brought my son to this location, it was 7:40 when we arrived granted they close at 8 but 8pm is not 7:40. That’s neither here nor there. I was very nice and had I been spoken to in a respectful manner I wouldn’t be writing this review. When we approached the doors they were locked. There was a woman on the other side of the counter who saw us walk up. She looks at us and shakes her head and taps her wrist over and over again indicating “look at the time” This is incredibly unprofessional and not ok. It’s 7:40 not 8pm. The business hours are posted everywhere and I even called them before heading there. The woman walks around the counter, comes to the door and says “can I help you?” And I ask “Are you guys closed?” To which she responds with “it’s 7:45, sorry” and closes the doors. To be honest I was flabbergasted. I work in healthcare and we are a 1 Dr clinic. We are always extremely busy, overbooked and understaffed. We are not a urgent care of any sort but we take on urgent cases daily and would never treat anyone in such a manner. This woman should be ashamed of how she behaved. I hope she doesn’t have children or grandchildren because she is truly heartless. Let me end this by saying, had she said something like “I’m sorry, we are not seeing anymore patients tonight.” Or anything remotely professional and caring would have been nice.

I had a great experience at this urgent care yesterday. I walked in for a COVID-19 test, expecting to be turned away because I was a walk-in. But I was screened and tested within 30 minutes. Dr. Patel was extremely kind, empathetic, patient, and professional. He took his time to thoroughly explain my illness and how to combat my symptoms. He also patiently answered all of my questions. I felt respected, heard, and well-taken care of. The front desk staff were also polite and kind. I recommend this urgent care location. You will be well-taken care of.

I always choose this urgent care location over others. The staff is kind, and they generally seem less busy than other locations. They always provide excellent care and service!

I went here on a Sunday afternoon to get an xray of my right ankle. I was called back to a room within 15 minutes of checking-in. And I had my xray and was seen by the NP promptly. I was in and out in an hour. And everyone was super kind and professional.

I went in because a puppy bit me while taking a treat and they made me file report before any treatment. Very disappointed in their procedures. Dr and staff were nice.
