I absolutely love this hostel, and I plan on staying here every time I go to Daegu. Not only was it incredibly clean and organized, but the staff and owner were so kind and ready to help us out of several situations. Honestly I would stay here simply for the rooftop patio area, which is perfect for gathering with your friends and a few drinks and snacks with a view of the entire Downtown City area! I have stayed in the dorm room, private double bedroom, and a private bunk room, all of which exceeded expectations for a hostel and or Guesthouse. The bathrooms or large and clean, with plenty of sinks, mirrors, bathroom, and showers.

Very nice hostel, by far the best one I've stayed at in korea out of the 4 so far. Everything is made for your convenience. The staff are so kind and accommodating. The onky problem i had was when sleeping in the cubicle, I'm 5 foot 11, and the cubicle is about 6 foot 1, so it wasn't that comfortable of a sleep. I recommend this place.

I went in the off season as I was the only person in one of the rooms, so that was nice. Everything was nicely maintained. The bunk beds are enclosed and have roller shades to give you privacy, and each bed has its own lockable foot locker. The bathrooms are modern and clean as well. They provide supplies to make your own breakfast during the designated hours and the kitchen is well equipped. Check in and out was easy as well. Overall, with its close proximity to one of the major subway stations, it's a great place to stay if you're on a budget.

Would recommend! They have a great system. Separate bathrooms and shower rooms, even a makeup/hair drying room. They provided towels right at cehck-in, ear plugs for the construction next door, and slippers. Breakfast is provided, but you make it yourself. I did not expect much, but the variation in breakfast was enough for me. The common area was also in a separate level. If you ever visit Daegu, stay at Daegu Midtown Hostel. The price of the stay was budget friendly too.

I think I continue to discover new places to stay in that are good on the budget with amazing amenities and good sevice. I stayed in the 4-beds capsule room of Midtown hostel in Daegu. I like it simple, a nice comfy bed after traveling and clean bathrooms since I barely stay at the hostel. The hostel was able to surpass my expectations. The hostel was conveniently located near bus stops or subway station making it easy to go around Daegu. The owner were also very nice and do their best to accommodate requests. I think what makes it standout is that they also serve a simple breakfast and you can also do your laundry which makes it great for the light packer. Highly recommend this place for those traveling back to Daegu. It's a better deal than their AirBnB offers

Best hostel I have ever been in Korea. Well managed and considered. 1. Good key locker and shoe locker system. 2. Power outlet and small shelf system. 3. Clean and convenient bed. 4. 2 towels, 1 mineral water, ear plug for noise blocking basic provided. 5. Good rooftop terrace. 6. Wifi each room. 7. Good breakfast. Tea and coffee. Enough many cooks. Free apple. Eggs, Cornflake, milk, 4 kinds of bread, jam, peanut butter, chocolate butter and so on. One of best kinds of breakfast. 8. Easy reception But several bad points. 1. Common room and rooftop closed 23pm to 7:30am 2. No power outlet in common room and kitchen. 3. Sharing use computer at the beside of refrigerator in the kitchen.

The bed is comfortable, staffs are friendly, good location to two subway stations (short walking distance). You have lockers for your belongings as well as for shoes, where you can wear their slippers that they provide.

I've travelled around 22 countries (mostly European) and this is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Well done Midtown Hostel for achieving and maintaining a very high standard! I shall definitely be back 😀

Highly recommended! The place is really clean, have nice facilities and spacious lounge with nice kitchen. The owners were really kind and able to speak english really well, so it was convinient for foreign tourist. I stayed here for almost 3 weeks and it was really nice! The place is really close with the downtown so it was easy to find place to eat. Perfect place to stay!

A great hostel with nice rooms and an amazing top roof terrace!

Although we didn't get breakfast due to Covid restrictions, the hostel is super clean, designed for travelers--the free washing machine was an amazing perk--and the seventh floor rooftop area was a nice place to hang out. The staff spoke enough English to make guests like me comfortable and were very helpful. I'll definitely stay there again when I return for another visit. Convenient to subway, eateries, coffee shops.

Very neat & clean, but a little cramped dormitories! Helpful owner, good service, nice rooftop! Location was a bit difficult to find both in Naver & Google maps! 5 minutes walk to public transportation & cheaper eateries!
