Esiapolis initially seems like a metropolitan outlet mall with beautiful buildings and attractions. However, it is a disappointing mess. Every store, including the restaurants and cinemas are overpriced with barely any sales, which is commonplace with Western outlets. Customer service provided by all the individual stores is below average, even for South Koreans, which is certainly an achievement. Esiapolis deceives its customers and staff into thinking that they are part of some futuristic shopping experience, when in actuality, it is an egocentric rip-off that targets children's tendencies to follow Western cuisine and shiny lights. It's worth visiting, but don't buy anything.

Looks like Megabox is going bankrupt, except for the Esia branch.

Because it was the weekend, there were so many people that it was difficult to park or move around. It's hard to find the brand you want. The guide is sufficient. Basic price discount is good.

This is an outdoor outlet, and some people would like this mall. However, I do not think it is good enough to shop in winter and on a rainy day. Also, it is a bit far from downtown. However, the underground parking lot is good, and there is everything, a grocery store, a convenience store, a movie theater, and even a kids cafe, not only clothing stores.

This place has a nice atmosphere and feels like an outdoor outlet you woud find in N. America. There are plenty of activities for kids including free carnival rides like tea cups and a merrry-go-round. There is abundant parking and even a petting zoo. However there are a few drawbacks. Some of the more internationally recognizable brands have shuttered and been replaced by local brands. Further, most of the restaurants here are all pretty terrible or overpriced. The outlets can be extremely crowded on the weekends, but they are much more relaxed on the weekdays. However, the carnival rides are only open on weekends and holidays. One major perk of the outlets is that most of the shops do have a clearance section so you can get some pretty good deals relative to the typical orices you would pay here in Korea.

Dont fall for the name outlet. It is nothing like what an outlet is in North America. In Korea, the name outlet means that the markup of the product is in the low to mid hundreds instead of the low thousands. Still, it is possible to find deals but you need to hunt carefully using a sharp and time. Even with the deals, the name outlet is a misnomer. Instead, it should be called a discount mall. Yet, many popular brands are there and Daegu's only TGI Friday's is there. There are some amusement park rides operating on weekends. Overall prices range from fair (never cheap) to overpriced. Parking is good with slightly oversized spots. If you're a driver in Korea and have lived in NA you'll understand what I'm talking about. It's a good place to waste time if you're into hunting for a bargain.

Great selection of stores. Also a good variety of food stores if you get hungry while shopping. It's a really great outlet.
