Dongdaegu Train Station. There are two train stations in Daegu, Daegu Station and Dongdaegu Station. Dongdaegu is a kind of the central train station in Daegu. Near Dongdaegu, there is the Deagu Bus Terminal, which is called "Dongdaeguyeokbokhapwhanseungcenter" where you can transfer into different transportations such as Subway Station, and Bus. Just for your information, if you want to take KTX(fast express train), you have to come here, not to Daegu Station.

If you want to have the KTX or any of the fast services, this would be the station you would need to go to. Luggage storage can be found here and there is a wide variety of shopping to handle in the station. The main bus station is accessed via the Shinseage Department Store (The store offers plenty of distractions) and to the Daegu Metro.

It's one of the busiest train station in South Korea. Like every other stations, this station is also neat and clean. There are ticket counter and help desk available along with waiting rooms for the passengers. Inside the station, there are fast food shops and sitting arrangements too.

The station is well equiped for the tourist and travellers. Plenty of clean toilet, easy paths to push the luggages around. Automatic doors for those who have huge items. Many food options to choose from at all price point. There is many screens telling you the platform of the next KTX or str trains to bring you to the next destination. The staffs are helpful as well

Nice train station. A lot of food choices for a quick snack. You can easily transfer to a bus, subway or taxi. Huge department store next to it also, Shinsegae.

Both SRT and KTX trains pass through Dongdaegu station. A lot of the signage are in both Korean and English, so there should be no issues for foreigners to get around easily. The station is large and spacious, and has plenty of shops for food, snacks, drinks and souvenirs. The challenge is deciding on what to get before hopping on the train.

I have to say, I was pleasantly impressed. The station is clean, organized and well-maintained. The evening and night views here are a thing of beauty! The whole place is well-lit and easy to navigate. It is spacious, with plenty of seats in case you need to wait for sometime before you travel. In addition, to the overall positive experience, there are several quick food options available, including a few coffee shops. Being able to grab a quick bite and coffee before your train or bus arrives is a convenient bonus! Welcome to "동대구역(East Daegu Station)"

The Daegu KTX/SRT ticket counter workers are very robotic and not very helpful or understanding of travelers. They won’t even take the time to tell you the train platform and rather just tell you to check the board even when you have less than 4 minutes before boarding. I had great service at both Pohang and Pusan so communication in English wasn’t the reason: It’s the workers’ attitudes. The rest of the station seems modern and bathroom was clean.

I think it's spacious and the facilities are good. From department store to bus terminal... The square is also very nice.

Renwal rail road station so that it is ok. Some Cafe and reastaurant.. even just beside huge department store is connected. Nice

Dongdaegu station has KTX and SRT train stops. It is third largest city. It has a good connectivity to travel all over korea. Dongdaegu station has a intercity and intracity bus terminal and a metro station connected to it. A big city for many travel destination in Republic of Korea

The time of departure and the length of the trip were the main factors that caused me to choose the train over other modes of transportation. In addition, the safety factor also made me choose transportation by train.dongdaegu station very helpfull 👍

As a copy (smaller though) of Seoul Station, I can't help but like it. Best part of Daegu.

It's probably the best train station in the country
