I
had
an
incredibly
disappointing
experience
with
the
front
desk
staff
at
this
hotel.
The
level
of
customer
service
was
the
worst
I've
ever
encountered.
My
husband
had
booked
a
30-day
stay
here
due
to
his
work
in
Rak.
However,
after
just
a
week
of
staying,
we
found
ourselves
in
a
situation
that
left
us
feeling
extremely
frustrated.
While
taking
the
elevator
with
another
guest,
a
Chinese
lady,
the
receptionist
named
Papiya
stopped
my
husband
under
the
pretext
of
signing
a
contract.
As
we
approached
her
to
sign
the
papers,
she
began
asking
intrusive
questions
about
the
lady
who
had
simply
shared
the
elevator
with
us,
such
as,
"Is
she
going
to
stay
with
you
tonight
as
well?"
My
husband
clarified
that
we
didn't
know
her,
and
she
wasn't
with
us.
Instead
of
addressing
the
situation
appropriately
by
questioning
the
lady
who
was
not
with
us,
it
felt
like
the
receptionist
was
making
baseless
assumptions
based
on
our
ethnicity
–
I'm
Asian,
and
my
husband
is
Arab.
Later,
when
I
returned
to
the
hotel
to
request
an
additional
access
card
for
my
room,
after
passing
the
card,
the
receptionist
questioned
me
about
how
many
access
cards
I
already
had.
I
explained
that
we
had
only
received
one
access
card
during
check-in,
which
was
insufficient
as
there
were
two
of
us
staying
in
the
room.
To
my
surprise,
she
disagreed
with
me
and
insisted
that
the
hotel
only
provides
one
access
card
per
room.
This
policy
is
incredibly
inconvenient,
as
it
means
that
if
two
guests
arrive
at
different
times,
one
has
to
wait
for
the
other
to
enter
their
own
room.
This
lack
of
flexibility
and
the
overall
poor
treatment
by
the
staff
has
left
us
highly
dissatisfied
with
our
stay
at
this
hotel.
This
overall
poor
treatment,
coupled
with
the
intrusive
questioning
and
what
appeared
to
be
racial
profiling
by
the
staff,
has
left
us
deeply
dissatisfied
with
our
stay
at
this
hotel.
I
strongly
urge
the
hotel
management
to
invest
in
proper
staff
training
to
ensure
that
guests
are
treated
with
respect
and
fairness,
regardless
of
their
ethnicity
or
background.
Such
experiences
have
no
place
in
the
hospitality
industry.
