Na een heerlijke lunch hebben we een mooie boottocht gemaakt waarbij we onderweg allerlei soorten watervogels (waaronder pelikanen) tegenkwamen. Op de terugweg zijn we gestopt om de grootste baobabboom van Senegal te bewonderen. We reden deze dag meerdere malen offroad en kwamen met Kali op plekken waar we anders nooit zouden komen. Na een dagje relaxen bij het hotel hebben we vervolgens een 2-daagse excursie gedaan naar de koloniale stad Saint-Louis en daarna hebben we de woestijn van Lompoul bezocht en zijn daar blijven slapen.
