The room itself was clean and a good value for the money. However, my review is mostly on what happened *after* our stay. My son left his two Build-a-Bear cats, that he takes everywhwre, in the room. We thought they were in the back but didn't discover they were gone until we got home. He was devastated. Given that we live five hours away and I was unable to make a 10 hour round trip back to get them, I called them. I stressed their importance and asked what our options were. It was clear they didn't often have people leave very valuable things in the room. The owner was very nice and understanding and sympathetic to the situation. It took a few days of coordination, but he was able to send them priority mail so my son didn't have to be without them too long. I was so grateful and my son was so happy. The owners are lovely people and truly went above and beyond for something that was 0% their fault.

Booking was easy. Mgmt was disturbed when I was checking in late at night. Dead flies on the wall, toilet did not work. Bed bugs and broken windows. Someone broke into my room. I called to let management know, they said they couldn’t do anything about it or give me a refund, even though I didn’t stay.

This is a nasty expensive Motel not a Hotel! They require $80+ tax per night for a room that should be $39.99 a night it's that bad. Room is covered in 30 year old dust and dirt carpet is disgusting keep your shoes on. Bed hard as a rock pillows paper thin. Couldn't use shower because it just wants to fill tub up instead shower barley put out water and it looked gross. I'm 99% sure they don't wash the stuff on the bed blanket had all kinds of stuff on it slept with white sheet. They definitely dont wash the towels as they all had dirt and hair on them were most definitely refolded and put back up. To make the AC work had to remove filter partly so it could get air and work thats nasty. If I'd have know this I'd have stayed at the other hotel econolodge that was $70 they atleast updated the hotel and have clean rooms. My company won't be back to this Rip Off of a Motel. With the amount of money they are charging people to stay here there's no excuse why this place looks like this but I can tell you this next time I will most definitely stay at a different hotel and I highly suggest you do the same even if you have to pay an extra $10 save yourself the headache. I felt gross leaving this place.

This place looks like something out of a Jack Reacher novel. Run down, moldy, smelly, bug infested motel that you try and lay low from the police…. Couldn’t even sleep it was soooo disturbing. 0 stars would be more accurate. They do offer a complimentary breakfast!! However I wouldn’t risk it!!!

Stayed for a month a few years back. Toilet not bolted down. Furniture had stains and biggest safety concern was two entire rooms ran off the same circuit breaker.

By far the ugliest place I’ve stayed at. Everything was filthy dirty. Sinks had mold, toilet was dirty, dead flies everywhere, bed sheets were stinky. I do not recommend staying here at all! If I could rate 0 stars I would!!

Cheap price for one night, but the room was dirty and the bathroom had gum stuck on the walls. There were also bed bugs when we woke up so now we have to go through all of our stuff to ensure we didn't bring any with us. Never again.

Cheap place to sleep 65 + tax, very dusty inside especially the a/c dont run if you have allergies, I coughed half the night.The plug in light combo by front door must have light on to run plug in.The owner/mgmt.didnt seem to care when We told them of the issues.The mattress and blanket were stained.The room was not cleaned very well also.laundry and ice on site.free coffee,muffins and wifi. Road is noisy and train tracks trains run all night:(

Last minute trip but clerk was very helpful. I had no trouble calling and booking a room. Weather was not what I expected and was not prepared for the cold but heat worked quickly. My room was warm in no time.

We just going through Dalhardt heading to Colorado and after a long stressful day we drove up to the Budget Inn. It was late around 10PM my Husband and I were tired. To be honest we were Leary about staying because of its appearance on the outside. They had only 1 room left so we booked it. As we open the door to our room I was surprised how inviting it looked. The beds had soft blankets clean sheets. The whole room was cleaned and vacuumed. The bathroom was spotless shiny tub even the showerhead was nice and shiny like the one I have at home at home with 5 settings. We had a restful night very quiet and comfortable. If you're on a budget and need a place to stay I recommend Budget Inn!😊👍

Stay here 3-4 times a year for business a week at a time and get great value. Yes its a little dated but wifi is fast 6-8 movie channels and wind blows a lot so it is hard to keep rooms spotless as dust blows in any tiny crack.Friendly owners clean linens so the people that complain I would love to see their homes! Easy to post negative but my glass is always half full and they do have a great ice machine!

Great place to get a good night's sleep 😴
