A great burger joint with almost everything made in house. Fresh ingredients with extremely moist beef patties. The “Good Night” burger was delicious. The onions were sweet and the the fresh jalapeños were very spicy. The caffeinated bbq sauce was a great addition. It is counter service with a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Plenty of seating. I will visit again.

I made the mistake of ordering here last night. I asked for three classics and what I got were undercooked burgers. When I brought this up the whole staff, including the manager, were all nonchalant about putting me and my family at risk of getting food poisoning. The mexican girl who took my order even had the nerve to laugh at my ordeal. The manager also made it clear he tolerates his workers giving people raw burgers and attitude but not upset customers. I didn't appreciate everyone's negative energy and so they all got it right back. There's better burger places with better service and prices. Brickhouse Burgers in north Dallas for example.

Hello world, I’m back! As we saw the Covid cases slowly spike up, I had to take some time from eating out and I encourage everyone to take small breaks as such! My first outing back out, I did a family day. Very casual and was wanting something very hardy and American. Burgers! As long as I’ve lived in the area, I don’t eat here much, so I figured I’d give it a go. For this location, I wouldn’t bring younger kids, as the seating is high top and hard for younger kids to sit comfortably. The space inside was very large and a nice size bar! I’m sure after 5pm, it can be a very lax place to enjoy a burger and beer with some sports on. The fries are a nice sized portion, placed in their own separate bowl from the burger. I feel the fries were over seasoned and made it very hard to eat. My burger initially was undercooked; very raw. The person assisting at the counter was very nice about it and ensured it would be cooked fully coming back out. Unfortunately because we had to wait so long, I ended up taking the burger to go as sitting there just wasn’t an option any longer. My margarita was late but resolved by getting a size larger. Since I had so many issues, I didn’t get great photos, but enough for you to give it a try on your own. 🍔8/10 🍹5/10 🎶 2/10

It is actually a feat that everything my wife and I ordered was mediocre or the worst that we had in uptown. The marg - bad and just off, the fries - far too salty, the mushroom burger - lacking mushrooms and burger was too salty, the salad - just terrible. Take my word go to any other place in uptown and keep your distance.

I dont even know where to start. I found an eye lash in my bison burger. My fiance was nice enough to share half her burger with me. It was ok but the food was cold not even luke warm! But I stayed optimistic. The main reason I went to Hopdoddy was because I had the taste for truffle fries. The truffle fries looked like plain french fries when I opened the box. They were very hard and cold. I think they sat in window the full day. For the few fries I was able to force down I tasted a hint of truffle but unfortunately they were extremely salty so it over powered everything. This was definitely a waste of $35 for 2 burgers and fries we could not even eat!! Im very disappointed. I wish I could give negative stars instead of 1 star.

Great place for a burger and sweet potato fries. I’ve eaten twice at this location. Good food and service. Parking can be challenging and you may need to walk a good distance from your car. Parking may require payment also. We had burgers and fries plus sweet potato fries. They were good.

Had a great night out with my wife. Really good drink and alot of burger options to choose from.

Saw a commercial online about this place and decided to check it out. So glad I did! I had the El Bandito Veggie burger and it was amazing! (Black bean and corn veggie patty with goat cheese, arugula, avocado, chipotle aioli, basil pesto on an amazing wheat bun!) The atmosphere and service was great I highly recommend it!

I had been craving a really good burger for the past week! Decided to go to hopdoddy to try it out for the first time. Heard really great reviews. First and fore most I want to say my experience there was amazing !!! Our server Susana was on it. As soon as we sat down she greeted us with smile and was very attentive to our refills making sure our order was correct. My burger was bomb! Definitely will be going again.

Dan, he was wearing suspenders that day, was really kind to me right from the beginning. He helped me with some technical issues even though he didn't have to, and he recommended I take the blue cheese burger, which I did and enjoyed. The "blue" in the cheese was a bit too strong for my personal taste, but that's based on my own preference. I would suggest specifying how well you want the beef patty cooked. They also have an outside sitting area where you have a couple of trees and a soothing atmosphere. Overall really good experience and definitely coming back.

Went there for the first time with my wife and it was sooo yummy! We got the Roosevelt and the Classic with their Parmesan-Truffle fries! We couldn't help but get shakes after to satisfy our sweet tooth! Bree and Mason were the best staff to help us decide and attend to us! They made it feel like no other burger joint we've been to! 10/10 would recommend!

Oh my gawd, one of the best food places I've been! I was taken by surprise. I had the patty melt, it was perfect Others at the table had spouts(delicious), the chicken burger was awesome and the truffle fries had a sauce that was perfect work every thing! I will definitely be back.

I have never had a bad item from Hopdoddy! Everything is always so tasty and delicious. They have so many options for gluten free eaters and take great precautions to ensure food safety. They have great rewards and wonderful staff. Definitely worth a visit, you can't pick anything wrong on the menu.

One of the best burger places I've tried in Dallas as of now. As I am new to the city, still exploring. But would definitely recommend to try thier burgers.

Great spot in downtown for a great burger. The Doddy Melt was one of the best Paddy Melts I have had in a long time. Only thing I will say is the menu describes it as a double smash burger. If that is the case they are the thickest smash patties I've seen. Needless to say it was still amazing. Stop in if your in the area. You won't regret it

Ordered the PRIMETIME burger: wow! The juiciest tastiest 1000cal burger I have ever had. I did not want to stop eating it. The house fries: bland. Flavored dips could not save these. Oh well.

My go to place to get vibes and a good chicken burger. The staff is very helpful if anything goes wrong they are willing to fix it no problem. Charlie is the best server/bartender they have he's always so on point with going above and beyond. Shelby is also gives great service. My favorite thing on the menu is the Thunderbird I have had it as a salad with the bun and protein style. I remix it a little by switching up the cheeses the sauce and adding a egg. It's so yummy 😋 . The sweet potato fries you so good also. I recommend you give them a try for yourself .

We have a great experience every time we visit this place. The burgers are unique, meat is juicy, sweet potato fries are delicious, and the Nutella Pretzel Shake is to die for. It's walk-up and order style. So, sometimes I'll skip out if the line is long (it's popular). But when it's less congested, this is where we like to walk for lunch/dinner dates.

Fresh ingredients and unique options. We all loved it and we tried everything from the vegetarian burger to the buffalo and the hot chicken sandwich. The chipotle sweet potato fries were amazing. I had the shroom burger and it was perfect. We will definitely be back.
