Off the Record Craft Beer & Vinyl is an oasis of cool in an already amazing neighborhood. The craft beer list is off the charts, the records for sale are very well curated, the sound system for DJs absolutely kicks, and the staff is exceptional. Kind, knowledgeable on music, great handle on the tap list, and efficient. Really enjoy this spot and they keep the temperature very comfortable.

What can i say. I’ve been here so many times. The bar and staff are always welcoming. It’s an amazing feeling to go to the heart of Dallas nightlife and have people know your name and greet you. One night when i was a little worse for the wear. The gm Isaac saw me and told me to go inside his bar and sleep it off. He woke me up once he was ready to go home and to my surprise 8 hours passed by. He was doing inventory and let me get my rest. And on top of that he gave me a ride home. You can’t get that just anywhere. It’s so good to see people that care about their regulars. This place is a gem. I hope otr stays forever

We got to hang out in deep ellum last night and Isaac the bartender, was so cool we actually came back to this bar in the end. It was a great night and he made it feel special definitely a highlight of our night

Great taste in music and ambiance. They bring good DJs. The prices are good. There are a few tables indoors but mostly you have to stand up in a narrow space. It is comfortable if it is not too busy, but if it is, expect to rub yourself against others to walk through. There are are more tables at the patio, where you can hear the music from the bars next door. The patio could use an upgrade.

When I first heard of this place I was wondering if it was a store or if it was a bar. Turns out it was both and it sure was best of both worlds. It is located near other bars and the patio is like you are in the middle of Axelrad ( A bar in Houston that is highly recommended). The DJ was rock awesome blending hip-hop and pop with a tad bit of old school music. If you plan on bar hopping make sure to hit this place up.

Great hemisphere, good bartenders, good drinks, funny DJ. Came to visit my friend for the weekend and he left his card there. They closed us out and didn’t charge us a fee for leaving it. Totally coming back to this bar next time in town!!

Came to Dallas for the weekend with some guys and went here. Dj was funny and owner was super nice! 10/10 recommend

Really cool little spot that would be great for smaller shows. They have a mini stage inside and a nice area out back with picnic tables. Antique bricks are laid out on the ground in the back and there is a convenient emergency exit on the patio. Lots of dope records for sale on the inside. There is a bar next door that would be great to expand with a bigger stage in the back if we were to have shows there in the future. Many stickers on the patio with room for a lot more. I did a price check on a Long Island Iced Tea which was way too expensive and came out to $16 when average is roughly $8. That’s something I see that they can work on but the canned beer was $4 and generally not a bad deal for a bar. Definitely dig the Christopher Walken painting on the inside 🤘

It's lit!!!!! They have nice and cheap drinks you can enjoy for 5 dollars and they also have a smoking area that you will enjoy an also Favorite bartender is Isacc definitely make sure you ask about him when you go 😍😍😍

Came in on Sunday afternoon. Bartender was super cool and nice enough to let us sample a small sip of something before ordering a full beer. The only disappointment was the lack of vinyl. One small rack? And it was mostly empty.

It's a fun idea. The set up is atypical. For a craft beer place I wasn't impressed with the bartender's familiarity with beer and the pour was bad. The music was pretty good, the crowd was interesting. Overall the beer selection was good; I'd recommend a visit.
