Incredible views, nicely kept stellar rooms, glass elevators, dining and more will be found here at this beautiful downtown Dallas location. We stayed in room 1056 which has beautiful views of the city during the day, and the coolest lit hotels at night! The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel. The atrium leading down to the Texas Star is a site to see. Our room was clean and the restrooms were freshly caulked. Rooms contain an iron, refrigerator, and hand held driers. A microwave can be found downstairs, but are not in individual rooms. The mirrors and lights are beautiful and provide indirect lighting for each guest room. The Reunion Tower is gorgeous to view or to go up into and see the best views in Dallas, especially at night. This hotel offers a variety of conference rooms for all kinds of meetings and events. From ballrooms to basic meeting rooms this hotel has it all. Beautiful lights and chandeliers are seen around this hotel. Certainly worth a visit. Up to date and beautiful hotel.

This is by far my worst hotel experience. The hotel may sit in downtown but there are no restaurants, shops, etc. located around the hotel. It sits off in its own little corner. Part of the excitement and appeal to staying downtown was the access to explore. My fault on choosing this location. Secondly, I paid a large amount to valet only to wait forever for access to my vehicle. Ultimately, I had to ask for my keys and go get my own car. Now, understand the expense of self-parking vs. valet is not a huge difference so why not benefit from valet. The room service was not accessible, as needed. Thirdly, the room is old and furniture is worn. Items are not clean. The list could go on. After a long day of traveling this is not what I wanted to walk in to. Overall, I will not return to this hotel. One stay is more than enough!

Was here for 3 days out of a 4 day conference. Day one you could really smell the mold/mildew. The gnats we're all over the place that you couldn't really have food on you or else you would be drinking or eating bugs. When they brought out breakfast, it was a toaster with bagels. Lot's of cookies, but nothing seem fresh. They brought Yogurt and expiration date was the next day🤦‍♂️ Coffee and banana were fresh and good. The layout as an exhibitioner was a horrible experience. We were in the bottom and classes were on the third floor. When they were done with classes, they had lunch upstairs instead of having them come to us, but due to the gnats it makes sense. On day 3 out of 4, 90% of exhibitors left, since they noticed it was a waste of time and money to stay there another day. Never again attending a convention here at the Hyatt. Rooms were nice. ****Edit**** Forgot to mention, there was no ramp to the exhibition hall, meaning anyone handicapped was not allowed in.

My stay at Hyatt Regency Dallas was exceptional! This hotel is stunningly beautiful. The staff were so cool, nice, and professional. The rooms are so comfortable. After several years of having severe insomnia, my first night here, I slept! I’m not exaggerating. The bed felt like heaven. The room had the highest quality blackout drapes and if I’m not mistaken, they’re soundproof or at least it sure seemed like it. I ordered room service almost daily and the food was scrumptious. The food didn’t seemed to be overpriced compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. Again, this hotel is so beautiful to me. I was blown away when I entered the foyer. As I exited the elevator, I noticed the beautiful chocolate color of the walls and the perfect lighting. The color scheme in the suites are nice also. This hotel has such a relaxed ambience. I can’t wait to visit again. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed here for the board game geek conference and was really impressed with the hotel. It’s HUGE, the rooms were great and housekeeping was really good and we actually had numerous interactions with them in the halls and super friendly. The food served on site was honestly amazing (we did the breakfast buffet-absolutely worth $28). I didn’t drive here but took Uber so can’t speak to parking. The staff did an amazing job hosting a conference of 3,000+ people. The janitorial staff kept up with bathrooms and the place felt clean the whole time. Great hotel and especially great for big conferences!

Beautiful place. There for a week long convention recently. Staff are beyond sweet and helpful, extremely accommodating, and very friendly. The building is gorgeous. The rooms are very nice-beds could be a touch more comfortable, but that's minor. Bar was clean, well run, and made great drinks! Especially loved the Jamaica Juniper. Glass elevator was a blast-must have gone up and down it fifty times just for the fun of it! It would have been cool to see a menorah next to the Christmas tree. Overall, great stay!

So the only reason I’m a little disappointed with our most recent trip is entirely because of a group of a dozen rowdy teenagers that were allowed on the top suite floors to run up and down the halls and bang on the doors during the night and scaring guests paying to stay there. The front desk was contacted twice about this issue and we were told security was headed up to get them back to their event on the main floor, security never came and the same thing happened again the next morning. Beautiful location and usually good service but there definitely needs to be some improvements when it comes to communicating expectations for behavior to families with children/teenagers

Attended a small conference at this hotel and it was great. Arriving was easy, and the valet was very accommodating during our unloading process (which only took a few minutes, but their kindness was appreciated). During the few days at the hotel all of the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating (including security staff).

Very nice hotel and well located for downtown. Atrium room has great views. Both indoor and outdoor. The service was very good. All of the amenities are good too. Plenty of dining options and a great bar. Room was comfortable. Bed is a little firmer than I prefer, but not uncomfortable. The chair and footstool are extremely comfortable. Some room wear and tear was visible, but not unsightly.

This was a great experience. Check in was fast and easy, the room and the view was amazing. The two restaurants we ate at were very good with great service. Very convenient that the Reunion tower is attached, great experience there too. Check out was fast, they held our 4 bags for several hours while we explored the city. The valet service was fast and efficient.

I'm an event planner and I love staying in hotels. I had a great experience start to finish at my site visit. Nobody in the hotel knew I was a client and they still treated me like royalty. Special thanks to Noah at the valet. He made a special effort to take care of us and show us kindness. I believe that kind of thing comes from the top down, so it seems there must be great leadership happening as well. Can't recommend these folks enough. -Sway

The best part of my stay in Dallas Hotel-wise was the incredibly helpful front desk concierge, Isaiah! He made my check-in and check-out an absolute breeze, even in the case of an accidental charge. He also recommended an amazing taco place and gave us all the local know-how we needed. I felt really taken care of as a customer, but also as a person. He really takes time to think through what YOU specifically might like, and it was so refreshing to have someone care so much about your experience. I'll also say I liked my view from the 23rd floor (which he made happen), the glass elevator, and my room stayed clean throughout my stay. The one thing I will say is that I found the hotel bar expensive, almost New York prices, and very much too watered down to be worth the money. Other cons? I was there for a work conference and ALL the rooms have no windows. Super dark, but I guess it fits the need well enough.

Very nice hotel. Stayed for a conference hosted on site. Room was very clean and spacious with a great view of downtown Dallas. Good dining options in the hotel and location is within walking distance of downtown and other great dining options. Easy access via public transportation to destinations in the city. Conference rooms are also very nice with great meals and refreshments. Only small drawback was train noise at night, but the hotel provides earplugs if this bothers you. Overall very nice experience.

Staff is great hotel overall is very nice but they have some issues with one carpet and such a little bit of furniture needs to be replaced. There's a little bit of outside noise that comes in when you're trying to sleep. But comfy beds great staff

A room with a view is likely to be had at this glassy lone ranger tucked into the corner of downtown. A wonderful entrance to the reunion tower, fun glass elevator rides, friendly check in staff, and a great breakfast buffet (not free!l) were highlights of the experience. A coffee bar is located on the ground floor thankfully as everything else around the hotel is at least a 10 and more likely a 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel. Great as a convention center, pretty good also as a business traveler hotel, but plan ahead for vacation visitors. I was there for a convention.

Isaiah Cannon was great, personable, joyous and was always happy to help. This is the first time I’ve ever noticed hotel hospitality. I was in shock! This is by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. I travel all the time and have been to hundreds of hotels. This is easily the best experience because of Isaiah. The guy went above and beyond and made this stay really special for my wife and I. He was perfect. Very genuine and nice person! We’ll stay here every time we visit Dallas.

Nice hotel and good location for downtown. Our rooms air didn't work correctly. The heater would automatically come on during the night when we wanted AC. The motorized drapes didn't work. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

This Hotel was amazing. It's located right next to the Reunion tower and it has amazing views of the downtown. We had an issue with the hot water in our room, and the management and maintenance team took immediate actions to take care of the problem and make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely go back in the future.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Right next to Reunion Tower which puts on a wonderful New Years and 4th of July celebrations. Centennial restaurant had a really good breakfast buffets both days we were here. The restaurant staff was great the first morning but seemed unhappy and tired the second morning. The valet staff and front desk were very friendly and super helpful! Jarrel from valet was the first person to greet us and made us feel welcome and at ease. Great attitude and very professional!!!

This hotel is a sentimental favorite but the service is top notch. I've asked for plenty of assistance and never been disappointed. The city view is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have all the amenities you need. The parking is the only drawback, it's remote unless you valet.

  • 4/5 Adam C. 3 months ago on Google New
Older Hyatt Regency building, convenient to I-35 as well as DART, TRE, and Amtrak with an underground tunnel connecting to the train stations. Connected to Reunion Tower, no discounts or free tickets included with hotel stays. Valet is garage parking, self-parking is a surface lot down the street. Walkable to downtown (although not much there). Staff very pleasant. It's a good business hotel, not a great vacation hotel. Refurbished rooms, but obviously an older hotel. Tiny pool and small gym. Room views will either be of downtown or the freeway. It's fine for a night or two. The Hyatt Thompson Hotel is the better 'romantic' option.

Central business location that offered several restaurants. We avoided hotel restaurants as they were mediocre at best, but the staff was very attentive and accommodating. From the front desk to the housekeeping and bar personnel, the service provided was top notch. Felipe in the bar was especially personable and welcoming. The linens in the room were a bit stained (comforter) and the headboard had peeling vinyl coming off of it (the reasons for a 4-and-not-5-star review). However, overall, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and provided sufficient rest on this business trip.

Great for business events. Front desk staff was accommodating to room requests. Helped with delivering luggage to rooms. Food services were well staffed, minimal wait time. Gym was disappointing. Very small compared to the size of the hotel. Very dated. Feels like a renovated hotel room converted into a gym. Banquet hall and ballrooms recently updated. Audio-visual elements were excellent. Temperature control was disappointing. Way too cold

Checking in was easy, everything very clean and as expected. Service at the bar (drinks and food) was great. We did have a hot room the first night until we had them check it out on day two. We found out out air conditioner had restrictions on it, not allowing it to cool off accurately. After that was fixed, the room was perfect. The only other disappointment was waiting for our car for 10 minutes after checking in at the counter for them to pull our car out. No big deal when they are busy, that is expected. But, they weren’t, at all. 5-6 valet members stood outside discussed sports gambling while my wife and I initially sat there for 10 minutes. Noah S. Was the only one who seemed to be running and getting cars. After getting someone else’s car and wishing them a safe trip, he finally checked on us, went to the counter, got our keys, and retrieved our car. The others still did zero work for the 15 minutes we were outside. They didn’t care if we sat there all day while our keys were still at the desk.

Our oom was prepared, staff courteous, and the desk quickly resolved any questions. Excellent service. Lonnie was quick to direct us to our room, bring up our bags, and put our luggage in the closet. He made our trip easier and we are grateful to him. Noah S parked and retrieved our car smoothly and efficiently. He was helpful loading the trunk and could not have been more attentive. His help was much appreciated.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a resort. This site will compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down. Made a ton of new memories with my family. Clean pool and great food. Highly recommend location and room. Amazing location. We were able to walk from the hotel to the Dallas Museum of Art and the Perot Museum. There's also a nice coffee shop inside the hotel. The view from our hotel room was stunning at night.

Lobby is nice and rooms are clean. Self park fills up fast so you pretty much have to pay for valet every time. Not many good food options within walking distance. I also found the walls were super thin and I could hear all conversations in the room next door as well as a barking dog.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was very welcoming but what really impressed me was one of their employees. His name is Michael(tall/slim guy), he saw us walking by where the events are held at trying to figure out where to exit to go to the self parking lot. He asked us if we were trying to get to the self parking lot and told us there was a shorter way to it. He literally got in the elevator with us and walked us to it. You don’t find that kind of customer service nowadays, it’s very hard to find. Please of this I give the hotel 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

Rooms were exceptionally clean and had additional towels delivered daily. Check in went smoothly and reception was very helpful. Only disappointment was the size of the pool and accompanying chairs. I feel that it is past time for an update on this area.

Great views and great service. Not too far from downtown but away from the hustle and bustle, this place offers cozy rooms and a great attraction. It's right next to the Reunion Tower! I thoroughly enjoyed the massive TV and expansive desk space for my work. Water pressure was robust and the room was clean. My only regret is having to park across the street.

I stayed here 4 nights during a conference and was very pleased with the hotel. Staff are very attentive and welcome and the property and rooms were well maintained and clean even with a full hotel. The gym is nice tho that was nearly full each time I visited. The pool was pretty small was not crowed, I had the pool to myself each time I was there. There is no indoor pool or hot tub. Both the bar and snack shop had great service and friendly staff. I would recommend staying here.

I stayed at the Hyatt for an event that was being held at the hotel. It was mostly quite positive with one negative. First the good: The people were wonderful and very helpful. There was a nice variety of restaurants, and even the food choices at the event were very good. The rooms were quite nice, very clean and had a great view to the south overlooking the freeways (which I prefer to just looking at buildings). The HVAC system was pretty good, keeping the room cool. There was also plenty of hot water. One downside to the rooms: The vinyl covering around the bed frames and on the walls above the beds were dry rotted and flaking. Every night before bed I had to sweep the flakes of vinyl that were all over the nicely made bed. That really detracted from my experience. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for that.

We came here to go to the Reunion Tower, which was amazing! But, walking though the Hyatt Regency was amazing. The temperature was cold but not too cold, the water features were very cool too! There was no scum or clouding in the water. I loved the building and I can’t wait to stay in one of the rooms one day!
