Good location walking distance to a lot. Easy check in process and communication with staff. Public parking behind the building was only $10 compared to $42 for valet. Restaurant, bar, and pool on site is nice. However, My biggest complaint is the AC not working in the unit. I have never been in a hotel room where I have been hot. I am always always always cold. The hotel room felt worse than outside. Even after turning the AC down several times, it was kicked back off and never reached the desired temperature. The lowest it got was 71 degrees. Even after a long night of driving, my sleep was not the best due to this. AC hotel has no AC. How ironic. Room was very modern and the layout was nice and different than many other hotel rooms. Although it was small, the layout made it feel bigger!

It was a nice hotel but not sure if they had a restaurant on-site, and they had one it must have closed early. However, they provided breakfast and that was really good. There was No one to help you with your luggage. And I found out the velet was the one who helped me and he had someone to help me take my luggage upstairs. I thought he was part of the hotel staff. The beds were small and more like full size verses queen. Also, the elevator was none operational one night. I had to make it down 4 flights of stairs with a knee brace. Overall, the staff was really nice.

I have spent literally months at this hotel. They do a lot of things right, the vibe and decor are great, good location, friendly staff. I really like the walnut wood everywhere. The elevators are dumb. The tablets shut off so if you tap them to get them to turn on you will hit a button you didn't mean to. They are too small to display all floors at once so you have to hit "lower floors" a couple times. Then it will say "car B" but it disappears from the screen in half a second, if there are lots of people waiting it can be too noisy to hear the letter so you get in the wrong elevator. Second, they have these euro-style square toilets in most rooms. They are terrible, they leave skids and the seats are flimsy and not securely attached. The shower and lighting controls took me weeks to figure out all the way, and the pool is too cold and small. Finally, the bar is high priced and not a great selection compared to other hotel bars in the area. Great ideas, but some areas of poor execution.

Completely unimpressed with this hotel. Started with confusing to find the right lobby, the sign pointing to the lobby was PAST the lobby entrance. If you get on the elevator without choosing your floor from outside the elevator, you are screwed. There are literally NO BUTTONS in the elevator. The rooms were "modern" and had nowhere to unpack. I've attached a picture, the room sleeps 4 and there was literally one small drawer in the entire room. No microwave. Terrible view of a parking ramp, another building, and some random guy trying to take pictures/videos of us. No room service. The bar/restaurant closed early because it was a slow night. Homeless people all over so did not feel safe to walk outside the hotel. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Fantastic location and great hotel! Nice, modern and new rooms with great bathrooms. The shower had real sliding doors, great water pressure and bright vanity lighting. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and quiet. I left a pillow there and having them ship it back to me was a breeze! I just went to UPS to get a shipping label, emailed it to the front desk, and the front desk packed it up and shipped it to me same day! Amazing service, thank you!

The rooms were really nice! However we didn't have hot water for our showers and the elevators didn't really work. Like you can press the button and it would acknowledge that you press the button but it would reset before an elevator comes

Nice hotel. Enjoyed my stay. They’ve got a nice bar downstairs, & if you’re lucky you can get some really nice views of Dallas from your room. The valets were also really helpful. Eli & Al helped get my car during my stay & they were cool to shoot the breeze with as well. I’ll be back here the next time I’m in Dallas

Room was decent but only one elevator working when we got there, only one person to handle all customer needs & the location is a cluster hell with figuring out since the opening to the ac is a side walk in & the front door is the other hotel attach to the building. Hotel parking is total trash due to being 40+ a day with only valley parking so you have to wait over 20 mins to even get your car out to use plus using the hotel parking doesn't stop car jacking since alot of hotels in the area do the same yet have a rash of car jacking issues. The decent part was my room in the hotel which was comfortable & nicely spaced & had a nice refrigerator but this hotel doesn't staff the place well enough for customer flow & helping not to over stress staff which i can't complain about since they try their best to handle all that is demanded.

We enjoyed our stay at the AC Hotel in Downtown Dallas. Positives - large spacious room, generous size bathroom, great air conditioning, great foyer and bar and amenities like a pool and gym. Detractors - our hotel floor flooded during our stay which got into our room. We weren't offered a room change which surprised me. The natural lighting in our room was very minimal, we had a small window (different room and layout to the one pictured when booking).

We stayed 2 nights at this location and we were very pleased. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean including our room. The breakfast was included in our package and I must say it was sooooo tasty! I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Rooms were decent and service was great! The connection with the residence inn makes it very confusing to navigate. We just stayed for a night but more than that I would have found someplace else.

I had a short 1 night business trip in Dallas and AC Hotel was the only Marriott brand hotel that had a decent price for the date I booked. The hotel itself is super clean, modern deco. The room was perfect (I got the corner room on the 3rd floor) Very very spacious with a sitting area with 2 chairs and a wine fridge. It was right next to the hydrating station (where you can get filtered water or ice) on floor 3. The bathroom was very new, modern with a rain shower head. The downside was that AC hotel, which is shared with Residence Inn - if you book AC, you don’t get free breakfast. I didn’t care bc I don’t normally eat breakfast but if you come here with family & kids, you might want to try to book Residence Inn as they typically have a microwave and a sink in the rooms and includes free breakfast.

This hotel is pretty okay and comfortable . My rating goes to the poor service at the front desk . This hotel is running some sort of scheme . I had asked for early check in because I have a gold membership and they tried to charge me $65. I called Marriott customer service hotline and then they automatically said it was free . SMH. Best believe I will be contacting corporate . The incompetent agent said it through chat so I also have proof of it . Also , the valet service people charged me $100 and didn’t charge my car after asking ME if I wanted a them to . Do better .

The rooms were adequate, but I advise against staying here if you're on a business trip. Despite confirming an early check-in at 11:00AM through the hotel's app, the hotel staff declined when I called them. I understand that there's no guarantee for early check-ins if rooms aren't available. I then asked the manager if I could use an ironing board and an iron anywhere in the hotel, as I had a meeting at 1pm and my shirt was wrinkled from the flight. Despite my willingness to use these items even in the hallway, he refused and displayed an unhelpful attitude throughout the conversation. He did mention that he would ask the wait staff if they could prepare a room, but offered no guarantees. Having little faith in this, I reached out to a friend who lives in Dallas. He was on a flight but managed to remotely unlock his house for me to use his steamer. He also connected me with his girlfriend in case he lost flight service and couldn't unlock the door. I went to his house, used the steamer, and attended my meeting. Upon my return to the hotel, the staff still denied my check-in request. A different employee at the front desk mocked the situation of someone trying to get in early to iron a shirt, unaware that I was the person. The lack of professionalism from the manager and staff makes it clear that this is not a suitable place for business stays. I won't be staying here again. If you're looking for good service, I can connect you with my friend who provided better customer service while on a flight than this hotel did.

We stayed one night in the King room with sofa bed. The room was very spacious with modern decor although it didn't feel entirely clean. The pillows under the cases had odd stains so we put towels between the cases and pillows. The bathroom is great - the standing glass shower with full door is a much appreciated feature to keep the warmth in the shower (as opposed to most modern-design hotel showers that are chilly due to a half-glass open wall). The hotel overall felt dead in the lobby. The bar on the first floor serves good drinks - the bartender was a lot of fun. Valet is very expensive at $44 including taxes - this isn't NYC. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, modern hotel in downtown Dallas.

After an attempt to try and change my room , they inadvertently canceled my room without notice. When I reached the hotel, they initially refused to reinstate the reservation due to their own error. After waiting 30 minutes, management finally relented and reinstated the room, but the whole ordeal was a mess purely due to AC's error. Management at this hotel is just a disaster.

When I opened the door to my room there were people in it. I was transferred to a handicapped room overlooking a parking garage. The gym was hot like a sauna and they don’t provide bottled water. Besides all that, it was great!

Good looking hotel, relaxed and comfortable lobby that we hung out at until 2AM, modern room. Our biggest complaint is the very low water pressure that took 10 minutes to get hot water. Very central location to walk to restaurants.

The AC hotel in downtown Dallas was disappointing given the expectations I have being a long time Marriott rewards member. Even though it is somewhat less expensive than other nearby hotels, it is an old and ugly building - with hardly any natural light, and minimal light fixtures in the room. The view from our room was of HVAC system only a few feet from our window. Housekeeping managed to leave us without conditioner upon our stay. Breakfast for $15 was the equivalent of what you can get free at comparable, even lesser hotels. The valet service (PMC) slammed my trunk shut manually and broke the automated function it has, and they brushed off my concerns when I complained about it by not providing me with a follow-up email on how to file a claim. Homeless person somehow got into the public bathroom and had their stuff spread out all over the vanity the morning I checked out. Limited wine and food selection at the bar led us going next door to the Hilton Statler for food and drinks. One of the staff kindly made us mimosas upon our request Saturday morning which was the highlight of our visit - we tipped her well. Everybody else seemed apathetic and like they didn't want to be at their job. This hotel needs a management makeover!

This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. First off, the front desk charged me for the room even though I already pre paid. Luckily the manager noticed and said it would be taken off. Secondly, she asked if I needed a hearing accessible room? Which I then said no to and was still placed in there. I have never seen such HORRIBLE elevators. The elevators are shared with another hotel. Good luck getting into one quickly. I've never seen so many people taking the stairs because of the horrible elevators. It will take you at least 5 minutes to get one. The shower knobs are just ridiculous. Quit trying to be fancy and just make something usable. The fanciness for the elevators or the showers just don't work and make the experience horrible. Good luck trying to sleep before midnight. I've also never heard such noise from cars on the street. All of them are just blaring extremely loud music with subs that shake your room. It's just ridiculous. Lastly the valet is the worst!!! Hire more people and quit trying to be cheap!! It took over 45 minutes to get my vehicle from the valet. I have to pay $50 a day for that!? Absolutely never again. How is that convenient for anyone. Overall, this hotel is a joke and is just scamming people for money. You could hear so much chatter through the lobby area of the horrible experience.

My room is very well maintained updated clean line furniture and clean and I enjoy the multiple press light switches as well as the floor lighting. The frosted sliding door to the bathroom is nice. Once I figured out how to operate the elevator I could really appreciate it(safety 1st). 😄. My seating area in my room by the window is a great lounge. The staff is very kind.

The bed was very comfy and pillows quite nice. Downgraded for: only one working elevator; rooms with modern decor but not functional. Not a safe area to walk at night; just a little too far from the nightlife on Commerce St. Go to a hotel 2 blocks closer to Main Street Garden Park and you'd be fine. Due to location there was a lot of street noise from kids doing donuts in the nearby parking lot at midnight (multiple nights). Not planning to return.

AC rooms are floors 3-10 or 11, and Residence Inn are above. Pool is shared with Hilton. Gym equipment is a bit rusty but didn't fall apart. Room was decently sized for a double. View was to inside at AC units. Bar was great with unique drinks, comfortable seats, and helpful staff. Their AC Burger was right for med rare but bun was too rough for me. The pecan-infused bourbon wasn't 'infused' long enough but the bourbon was great. The Desert Door Sotol was too harsh. I'd rather drink tequila. Location can't be beat for a downtown vibe.

Amazing property, beautiful suites! Check out the city of Dallas skyline light fixtures in the hallways. They really have thought of all three small details and go the extra mile. The elevators are fun too… you will see why when you get here!!! 🤓

Clean, upscale hotel. I feel like the comfort aspect was over looked when considering the decor. Bed was very comfy though. We enjoyed the lounge. Great burger! Over priced parking.
