This is a pretty new property and we stayed here a few months ago and really enjoyed it after they replaced bad light bulbs. The employees are very nice but the place is pretty nasty. I’m not sure how it got so bad so quickly. No, I do know. It’s clear that this room hasn’t been cleaned. I wish I had looked up the pill before I gave it to the front desk as an example of how dirty they floors are. Thankfully, there are no hairs in the bed like they are in the drawers and on the bathroom floor. The room was very hot upon arrival but I think it may cool down because it feels like it’s blowing cool air. The thermostat is busted so we can’t tell by it. We have been moving today so we are too tired to move to a better place and they say they will clean the room tomorrow. We aren’t going to touch the white powder that’s on the wall and a bed frame. We think the sheets are stained rather than just dirty and the hole is on the side so our toes won’t get hung. Such a huge disappointment. Found another pill on the floor. This blue one appears to be a sleeping pill. Wish I had a photo of the other one I found. I have short white hair and my husband is totally bald so the brown hairs are not ours. Yuk. Oh no! Tried to take a shower but the blood on the towel hook is just too much. I would rather sit in the car.

I'm a corporate pilot, I'm constantly tested for doping.  I do not use any type of drugs or drink alcohol.  In this hotel they falsely accused me of having consumed marijuana in the room.  They called me 4 HOURS after checking out to tell me that the room smelled like marijuana and without any evidence they charged my card $250.  During the call the administration treated me without respect. I am in legal procedures to take action on the matter. Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT stay in this place, much less take your family here.  I confirm that the previous reviews are in fact TRUE, they are THIEVES who will accuse you falsely and without evidence to steal money from you. I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE!! The manager Jerry Rivera, and the others, should be ashamed!!!

Pretty much the worst Marriott experience I've had. Thanks to a weather delay our flight took 6 hours instead of 2, so we arrived at the hotel 4am. We requested the latest checkout since we arrived so late and we were told normally 2pm, but he'd give us 4pm even though we're just gold members. (4 more nights to platinum by the way). After only 3 hours of sleep, at 7:30am we get a phone call from to inform us we can only have 2pm check out. Gee thanks for waking us up. Kinda the whole purpose of getting the room was to sleep and that's shot at this point! Now we can't go back to sleep and we can barely function. I only hope I don't have a car accident from lack of sleep! Other complaints - Walls are so thin, and you hear the cars on the expressway all night. No water in the room. Not a single bottle. Not even to buy. Mini-fridge was warm. Walk into the room and none of the light switches work. Luckily there was a little light from the TV. Air conditioner is the old kind that blasts right onto the bed like a motel 6.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and pretty. But I am writing this review because the customer service, especially Leland, was excellent! I needed a late check out because of my husband’s surgery and he made it happen for us. I’m super impressed and will stay here again.

I had booked 6 rooms for 12 people almost 2 months before our stay. When we showed up the day of our reservation, shortly before 9pm we were told that it didn’t matter that I had any confirmation numbers, that I was a loyal Marriott bonvoy member, or that we had made a non-refundable reservation almost 2 months in advance. They had overbooked the hotel by 27 rooms and did not have our rooms. So although they knew that was a problem long before 9 pm, no one even attempted to contact me earlier that week or even that day to let me know. So we were left scrambling trying to find a place for 12 people at the last minute, having to pay higher rates because it was so last minute. Evidently confirmations mean nothing these days.

Overall not a terrible stay, the front desk agent who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. When we got ready for bed in the late evening, we found that the pullout couch was very dirty, used sheets and fast food wrappers. It was too late for us to do anything that evening. When I checked out the following morning I told the desk agent and she couldn't care less. She was very distracted and clearly could not be bothered and didn't even offer an apology.

Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, however we had a room on the hotel side closest to the highway. We just couldn’t get over the road noise — The front desk even gave us earplugs but it didn’t do much. Overall we just didn’t feel like it was very clean - Location is great, but we won’t stay here again.

I have never in my life been treating so poorly by so many hotel staff. I worked in a hotel, customer service is always how can we do better. The front desk staff does not care about that at all. I truly did not feel safe here: the way they argued to make sure “they were right” didn’t have any consideration to actually making the situation right. The staff made a point to wave their fingers at me behind their managers back, it doesn’t get any ruder to me. I truly felt like they were going to slash my tires. I would never recommend staying at this facility to anyone. I have had pristine service at the Sonesta hotel right next door. The desk clerk, says he never speaks rudely to customers. I should have known it was going to be a problem when we had such a late check in and someone called for towels, his response to them was a snarky “why didn’t you call earlier?” “ we don’t have housekeepers this late.” So while he may believe he speaks in good tones, he does not communicate in a professional manner. None of them would even offer their names to be able to associate who you are talking to when you call to have things accomplished. 100% would never recommend you stay in this hotel.

Staff is great! Very welcoming, kind and fun. Arrived late and my room A/C wasn’t working and they quickly moved me. Rooms are pretty good, noticed there is a remodel going on. Give them some grace through the transition.

So I get an email from Marriott Bonvoy stating that my room is ready, it was not ready yet, I was speaking to Maddy at the front desk, she was so professional, then Naomi walked out from her office and was unbelievable. They were both so accommodating and wonderful, they made it so easy for me and they have definitely earned my business every time I come here. It is a great location with lots of food options and the NorthPark mall is right around the corner, just a great place to stay and amazing people that work at this location.

I stay at Marriott's chains all over the country and this one was up there with the best. The location was excellent for convenience to SMU, Lakewood and Upper Greenville areas. I was hesitant seeing previous reviews but this hotel is MUCH better than the 3.9 they have been given on Google. Might be new management but they took great care of us from check in to check out. I'm a Marriott Platinum traveler and will book here again. Thanks for a great stay!

Walking in, the hotel lobby and main areas were very clean! So how did I end up here? hotel was the only one around that would take me in as a healthcare provider and gave me a discounted rate during this crazy ice storm! I was stuck in Dallas due to the ice / sleet and was too afraid to call home! Other hotels would not honor the rate that our hospital told us and so I had called this hotel at 7:30am right after working 12 hours and they accommodated me last minute and got me checked in 15 minutes with a nice room with a king bed. For a Spring Hill hotel, it was modern, updated and clean, I was very impressed by the comfort of the bed and bathroom. I have stayed at home sketchy spring hill hotels that were not this nice. The staff was so so nice and did their best to not only help me but other healthcare providers who were also stuck due to the weather; which speaks volumes to me. The breakfast included is better than some places I have stayed but honestly for a free meal you can’t complain since some hotels don’t even provide food! And during this winter storm, you gotta take what you can get. I would stay here again if I had any inclination weather issues that I needed to stay in Dallas for work! They honestly did their best to accommodate with the staff they had. The only issue I had was the remote control to my TV but the staff was really nice about fixing it and making sure I wasn’t charged for the damage! Being kind is important especially with everything going on and I think that was what stood out to me.

The rooms are new… but the cracks are already showing as this place is not managed well at all. Don’t bother asking to talk to the manager, they will never call you back. It’s fine if you get a good deal for it but expect zero service. I stayed for five days and didn’t get housekeeping once… couldn’t get extra towels ever. They’re suppose to do housekeeping every other day.. it didn’t happen and no one cared. Marriott refunded me though since I complained to corporate. So that’s nice, but skip this place honestly.

I arrived at the hotel to check in and was told the hotel was overbooked. The front desk told me they had made me a reservation for a hotel 20 minutes away. The hotel I ended up staying at charged me $115 more than my original booking at the Springhill Suites and I was charged full price at Springhill Suites as well. After calling the hotel everyday for a week to try to get the issue resolved I still haven't heard back about being reimbursed.

I wish I could give zero stars! I left my shaving bag in the room and called repeatedly to recover it without response. It has now been 2 weeks and no one seems to care. I’ve left messages with the general manager, the front desk repeatedly, and the house keeping supervisor. I have only 1 assumption and that is the person who cleaned the room stole my bag. Since the value of the bag was about $100 and contained a number of products, cologne, etc. Totally about $500 in all, I’ll be filing a police report with DPD today.

Horrible experience. I had a reservation that I made 3 months ago for a conference and when I arrived at 9:30pm, there was no room for me- and 2 other guests with reservations. There was no good explanation- the staff seemed like they couldn’t tell us what the real story was. I had to find a place to stay at 10pm. Ridiculous! No more Marriott for me!

I'd rate this "alright" for a two-star hotel. Staff were all very friendly. It's just across the highway (though not quite walkable) from the Walnut Hill DART station & surrounding development for lots of food & activity options. I stayed in a king suite on a work trip; ended up in an accessible room as it was the only remaining suite. Not a lot of good lighting in the room - all task lighting or lamps in specific areas, and the "master switch" by the door did not control them all as implied. The wifi worked for my laptop but not for my Android phone; I dialed the "internet support" key on the room phone and was connected directly to their internet provider (?!) to troubleshoot. We got it fixed but I found that a bit odd to have to manage as a guest. The bath towels were very rough and small. The paint on the tub was peeling. The tub stopper was too loose to stay open while using the shower, it was unscrewed when I arrived so I left it as-is. I appreciated that the water pressure wasn't crazy hard! Some toiletries are provided - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bars of handsoap, and a hair dryer. No lotion. The room and hotel have stylish and modern-looking finishes (a sofa bed from West Elm?!) but seemed to be a bit worn down overall. You have to request housekeeping; they did come by unprompted on the second morning of my stay to make up the bed and leave a bigger/nicer bath towel which I appreciated. The bed was comfy but the pillows were all pretty deflated. The TV remotes barely worked, no matter how far or at what angle I tried to aim them at the TV. This hotel is situated along the frontage road of a 10-lane highway so lots of noise outside but it's mostly white noise / not noticable once you're in the room, even though my room on the third floor faced the highway. The little market for food and snacks by the front desk is nice. I didn't try the free breakfast, the small lap pool, or the fitness area.

The hotel rooms and lobby are very nice, modern and well kept. I called less than 24 hours before our visit to verify the hot tub was working, only to find out once we arrived and tried to use it it was broken and had been for a week. The girl at the front said, sorry, I can't help, call tomorrow for the manager. Our room fridge was broken and smelled. We called and they said they would be right up, no one came. The outside door in the back key reader doesn't work after dark, the employees know, but there's no sign, they just let you struggle in the dark in Dallas. I went to breakfast at 9:23, not over until 10, there was absolutely nothing left, not even coffee, and no employee in sight. I have called to talk to a manager and left at least 7 messages over a week. I even waited on hold for 36 minutes. I wanted to give her a chance to explain/ fix this. She absolutely will not talk to me at all. I was polite to everyone on the phone, and when I left messages. I have never received such poor customer service in my life. 100% dissapointed.

Stayed at this location just to wake up the next day and 21 cars in the parking lot had been broken into… The front desk clerk was not very helpful with giving any information out other than the wrong case number from the police. Said he couldn’t give his managers number out but would take my number down and she would call me… here it is almost a week later and still can’t get in touch with anyone. Somehow there is a security guard who patrols the facility 24hrs a day but yet he didn’t see anything not to mention only his car and the front desk clerks car were the only 2 that didn’t get broken into. Sad to think that they were somehow involved.

Two cars were stolen out of the parking lot last night. When I got there I wasn’t informed & had to hear it from the upset customers in the lobby who had been waiting on police for hrs. The lobby restrooms are out of service. We left & rebooked at a different Marriott but when we left around 4, our room was not even ready.

It’s SO loud! The location is convenient to attractions but the freeway noise is unbearable. Even on the upper floors you here every car, truck, and 18 wheeler that goes by. The staff is really nice but I prioritize sleep over a smile when I check in. Spend a little more and go somewhere else where you don’t get all the freeway noise

Who’s ready to have their car broken into? Because apparently this happens all the time. People’s cars were getting broken into for a solid hour and a half and security saw. When we asked security why they didn’t do anything , they said “we don’t want to get shot!” Well I don’t want that either, but do your job and CALL THE POLICE. The two security guards were literally watching the whole thing go down. I can’t make this up. We also asked for a vacuum to help clean up the glass, and we were informed the hotel just doesn’t have a vacuum. So now you know how clean it is. This was just such a ridiculous incident that could have been prevented if dumb and dumber did their jobs. This is NOT a safe place and VERY SCARY FOR KIDS!

My family came into town late and this place had a room available at the last minute, the night auditor at the desk was very professional and got us checked in with no problem, even though we didn’t have a reservation! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was not bad! Will stay here again for sure.
