Great experience flying in and out of Dallas Love Field. The gate agents at Southwest have been amazing. They worked with me to get me onto an earlier flight because mine was delayed by a half an hour. They were able to get me on an earlier flight at mo charge. This was such a great experience. Thank you to Southwest airlines!! The airport itself is easy to navigate spaceship and clean. The TSA agents at 3 check we're friendly and polite and got everyone through the line so quickly it was amazing. I definitely prefer Dallas Love Field to DFW Airport.

Excellent airport for easy parking, easy access with one main entrance, one main exit for arrivals, one large baggage claim area, and generally small crowds. Saturday evening was like a ghost town, picking up our daughter flying in from Florida.

Beautiful, clean, well designed airport. Crowded, for sure. There are plenty of excellent choices to eat inside the terminal. Plenty of coffee selections, too. Friendly service. TSA Pre✔️ is worth every penny. Highly recommend paying for it if you travel a lot. Parking lot seems to always be FULL. Arrive early to find a spot.

This airport was smaller than expected, though, very clean. Me and my husband did have to take a nap on the floor because of how many people were there. We were uninterrupted, which was nice. The workers were very kind as well. However, there was one thing that went wrong in this airport and that was at their Chick-fil-A. We ordered some chicken and fries. The chicken was really good, as usual, but the fries tasted like a dirty diaper. That made us both very sick and ruined our experience. I won’t necessarily take it out on the airport, but the Chick-fil-A there was not good at all. January 8, 2022

Overall this is a pretty good airport. Being a southwest hub, it’s packed with people! The center of the airport has all the food places, with 2 main wings with gates and 1 wing for the exit. They have tons of food options like Chick-fil-a, Moe’s, Manchu Wok, pizza places, burger places, Dunkin’, etc. The bathrooms are limited and lines form pretty quickly for both men and women. There isn’t enough seating for the amount of people that come here. The food court is full, the gates are full, and the standing room is full! If they could incorporate more seats somehow in the open spaces that would be really helpful. I do like how their screens show the status of flights (when it arrives at gate and when it’s boarding).

Pleasantly surprised by this airport. Very clean and plenty of room to walk without feeling crowded. Bathrooms were clean and had no funky smells. A great variety of eateries of all natures. We just had lunch and did not get to sample any. Unlike some other airports that are so loud, Love is a dull murmur. Plenty of comfortable seating to wait for your flight. Security was well run and we had no hassles. Next trip to Dallas we will be using Love Field.

This is one of the better, But more crowded airport experiences I have had flying into the Dallas metro area. The terminal & other areas are squeaky clean (Except for the adjacent parking garage). There are MOUNDS of food options within the central area of the terminal past security and on each of the terminal wings. Speaking of security, TSA lines went by insanely fast despite the crowd present.(Although TSA Precheck is hella worth the money to go through security even faster). Bag claim goes over pretty smooth and quick all things considered. The amount of seating at each gate is clearly not enough when it strikes busy o'clock. Southwest staff here are friendly and helpful. It is insanely easy to navigate around the airport here with comprehensive and clear markings and simple layout. Definitely an easy experience when it isn't jam packed busy.

Bathrooms tend to be full with long waiting lines. Tried three different locations! Fairly clean. Directions are not always clear.

Ahhh... the essence of dirty mop water blended with daycare feet combine to greet you in an airport with virtually nothing to do... Dallas Love Field is a small, budget-friendly airport that offers some conveniences, but it falls short in several key aspects. One of its standout advantages is the relatively fast and affordable parking options compared to larger airports in the area. This is a significant plus for travelers who want to save time and money on their journeys. However, Love Field's drawbacks become apparent as you spend more time there. One notable downside is the absence of airport clubs or lounges, which can be a letdown for passengers seeking a more comfortable and exclusive travel experience. The lack of entertainment options is also quite evident. There are limited restaurants to choose from, so dining choices are restricted. This can be disappointing, particularly on longer layovers. Furthermore, the seating options at the departure gates are limited, making it challenging to find a comfortable spot to wait for your flight. Another notable drawback is the unpleasing odor that I equate to a mixture of dirty mop water and daycare feet. This issue could detract from the overall airport experience and discomfort passengers. Dallas Love Field is a convenient choice for those looking for quick and affordable parking, especially if they're traveling for shorter durations. However, the lack of amenities, entertainment, and unpleasant odors make it less appealing for travelers who value comfort and a variety of services. Consider these trade-offs when choosing this airport for your next journey.

For a smaller airport it offers a lot of options for food and shops. There are plenty of food options to choose from. From baggage check in, to security check it went efficiently and smoothly. Only thing I'm noticing is there are not enough seats and places to plug our electronics. The middle pathway seats don't have Edison power to tap in. Many of the gate seats are taken and hard to find an open spot, especially, during busy hours.

Aboard a flight to Dallas from California on a Southwest aircraft. This airport is easy to get in and out. Police present throughout the airport. TSA is fast with privacy glass throughout the line. There is wheelchair assistance as well for passengers. The airport is clean with great gift shops and restaurants. Every restaurant’s has a sport game on. There several selection of restaurants to choose from. There are plenty of restrooms and they are very clean. Women’s restrooms had fresh wipes in each stall. If you are using ride share you will need to walk a distance to garage B and take the elevator to the first floor to get your ride share. Near the baggage claim is where you can pick up your rental car. All of the rental cars companies are located in this area of the airport. This is very convenient. A busy airport with the hassle. Happy travels! 🛫🛬

Great airport. Easy to get into and out of. Parking can be a little tight though. Plenty of flight options as long as you’re flying SWA. Pro-tip - save $2 to park on the roof of garage B. Easy walk to the terminal.

This is a great airport. It is well planned, clean, and family-friendly. The good court is large but you might have trouble finding seats for more than 4 together. There are plenty of fast food places to eat (Chick Fil A, Whataburger) and the lines are long. They move quickly though. I was in line by the Mac store - trying to get Chick Fil A - and I had my good within 15 minutes of getting in line. There are plenty of retail and souvenir shops too. They even have an Amazon One - just pick it off the shelf and leave. No cashiers. I had to use it just because I could.

Other than our gate changing a few times (including while we were waiting in line to board the plane. Although, I found out later is was due to that plane having hit birds and it needing ground maintenance as a result) I found the airport to be nice. It's smallish, but had shops and rants, indulging a Jason's deli, whataburger, Chick-fil-A, and other unfamiliar, pricier places. We were able to kill approximately a 5 hour layover in a matter of 5 hours while walking in circles and eating and playing phone games. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. Have a very nice day.

Nice. Clean. Easy to navigate around. Lots of choices for food, refreshments, shopping. There is an animal relief room for those traveling with pets. They have great signage to make your travel fun and clear.

Overall it’s pretty Ok, compared this to Florida and you’ll obviously pick Florida. But I just think there needs a little more, but I cannot rate this just outa my opinions, they have basic fast foods, nothing crazy, if your traveling be sure to go to love field. Very shiney, pretty and super nice people.

The airport lobby was very clean and neat. TSA and CLEAR were efficient. The team members were very friendly and helpful. It’s good there is Free WiFi in DLA. The flight got delayed in Christmas Eve. We had dinner and stayed in the airport for quite a while. Large selection of food for dinner was provided in the airport. You can still enjoy the food and drink if you need to stay inside the airport for a long time. 😄 The servers were friendly and gave warm Holiday greetings. M&M offered the Merry movie holiday lounge for the travelers in Holidays; so nice, kind and grateful! However, the restroom was a bit busy and looked messy. The carpet in the Lil’ Love Lounge was dirty, which is really not good for kids. The waiting area at Gates were messy; lots of food debris and trash on the floor though.

Love Field is a nice airport that is easy to navigate. However, on the way to the gates they have installed shops and bars that seriously impede the movement of passengers. These formerly wide but now narrow walkways are likely code violations and one day could lead to a trampling tragedy. Commerce should not take precedent over safety.

Southwest Terminal: many dining options, including the ever-popular Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts. Odds are good you will find long lines here. Some seats have charging outlets near them; however, the one near my seat had no power. Gates have flights easily displayed. Women's bathroom was rather dim, but it was nice to see a free feminine product dispenser. There was also one for childcare products (diaper-related).

This is one of the best organized airports. The gate information is large and easily visible. If you have to make a connecting flight, it know only shows you the gate information, but also how far you have to walk in terms of minutes.

The ride app area is soooooo far from the terminals! The lot attendant said it should get better in terms of distance over the next two years. Once the driver found me, it was a quick exit from the airport mainly because I walked the distance of the airport to get to the ride share area.

Always clean, plenty of seating with charging areas, plenty of food choices, quick lines and polite employees. They have a outdoors bag check area which is always less crowded. Parking is easy to get in and out and there’s also spaces before you get to the drop off areas where you can wait around to pull up when the pick ups are ready. The new ride share area is a bit far but is organized and similar to other airports that have the same system. Only thing is it is a bit a of walk so I saw a few people have their rides dropped because they didn’t make it out on time. At the end of the ride share area there are stairs or two elevators which can get backed up when there are multiple plans landing at the same time. It’s not a bad thing the extra walking because it keeps the drop off and pick ups flowing quicker, you just have to be mindful that it’s a bit further out than before.
