Glad we made reservations for 10 am Sunday brunch. Place got packed rather quickly. I never thought if this place for breakfast but man oh man it was a fantastic meal. Awesome service and we loved the ambiance.

One of the last few great chain restaurants native to the Bay Area. The service is here is the gold standard that everyone in the industry should strive to achieve. 6 different ways to order veal. The atmosphere is straight out of sopranos/ godfather/ good fellas… this place f*cks

Ok so im planning to try the North beach location and compare. As far as this location i gave 4 stars because the parking lot is too small for the size of this place (Its pretty big and can hold a lot of people) The food is good better than Mels diner, but the prices are a lil higher. The ambiance is 60s swank decent bar/cocktail's where its obvious that some locals hangout after a round or two of golf. The service was prompt and attentive. Overall its probably better for the before 4pm time as they have food on the menu they don't offer after 4, which is kinda like a tease if you show after. They do offer lunch specials daily that are posted n change.

I went there Sunday night and this place did not disappoint. I had a reservation and got seated right away, while some people with no reservation were expected to wait over an hour if they were willing to wait. Amazing customer service and delicious food. The butter cake is a must. I will definitely be back on special occasions in the future.

One of the best (or maybe THE best) Italian food I've ever had. The service is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is amazing! They didn't have a table for it when we arrived, but within 10 minutes we were seated. We're definitely coming back!

Garlic bread and ravioli were delicious. Meatball sauce was spicy and flavorful, but the meatballs themselves were a bit bland. Butter cake and ice cream were tasty. There were a couple of problems, but the service was great and the manager took care of the issues.

Always great food and great service. Love the way the kitchen is open and you see the cooks working their magic. Had a wonderful birthday dinner. And the cake on the house was magical. Old school at its finest.

Place is buzzing & energetic. Great for a casual dinner with some friends or family to celebrate a birthday 🎂 . The bar area is cozy & large. If no reservations, you can eat there. The service had some opportunity. Took at least 45 minutes to get our main entrees, and that was too long. Food was good. Had the ribeye 🥩 w/side of spaghetti 🍝 . Quality meat & was cooked well.

My first time ever visiting this Restaurant. From the Ambiance to the Host to my Waiter (Miguel G) to my delicious dinner. I enjoyed it immensely. It was our date night. I asked my waiter to help me select between two different entrees and he said definitely the steak (PorterHouse) it was cooked to perfection. I added potatoes and steamed veggies to compliment it. When I tell you I enjoyed everything I mean just that. My husband said this place has been around for forever. His parents use to visit regularly. My waiter was The Best. His name is MIGUEL G. Thank you Miguel for your Excellent Customer Service we will definitely be back. This is my New Go to Restaurant. If I could I would give it 100 stars 🌟 everything was Grand!!!

We occasionally drive ~40 miles to eat at this restaurant . We really enjoy the food! The last time we ate a lot for lunch. Bombolini, crab cocktail, fillet of sole, prime rib dip.

Attentive service & tasty food. The booths can be a tight squeeze, but otherwise comfortable. Having a reservation definitely helps, we only had to wait about 5-10 min. to be seated. Parking can be tough, but there's an extra lot and some street parking. I definitely recommend the steak ala bruno & chicken parmigiana, those are my go-to entrées.

We made reservations on open table for my son’s 10th birthday. Joes has two parking lots, one in front of the restaurant and one above it. There’s a ramp that goes down to the restaurant level. We had reservations at 6 and it was very crowded in the lobby area. We were seated around 615 which isn’t bad based on how busy it was. The service was impeccable. We started off with fresh sourdough bread with butter along with water all around, Shirley temples for the kids and espresso martini for my brother. The kids ordered the slider trio and buttered pasta from the side menu. There isn’t really a kids menu but items from the side menu was enough for my 8 year old. We ordered calamari and jumbo prawn cocktail for appetizers which were yummy! The prawns were huge and the calamari was perfectly fried. For entrees we ordered the short rib, prime rib and calamari steak. Everything tastes great and they brought out a chocolate cake for my sons birthday.

Located in Daly City right off John Daly Blvd. I have not been here for several years, but this is still a great place to eat. Omar our server was very warm, welcoming and attentive. What we ordered: 1.) Club sandwich. The sandwich was very made with very fresh lettuce and tomatoes, turkey and bacon. French fry’s were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. 2.) Meatball Sandwich was tasty 3.) Ravioli and meatball. Just as I remembered it fresh and great tasting meat sauce pasta cooked perfect. I come here every time I am in town as I can always count on the food to be consistent.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. Honestly, haven't had better service short of a 5 star restaurant. The food and atmosphere are classic American fare. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Only negative is the wait for a table can be really long. But tables at the lounge are first come, so try for those if the wait is bad.

This is definitely a place where you should order dessert first. We went on a Tuesday night and ended up seated near the counter where the desserts come out. I rarely have desserts but because so many were being ordered we became curious. By the time our food was served we decided to only eat half so we could have room for dessert. It was a great plan. We had the Warm Berry Crunch, which was good, and the Warm Butter Cake which was amazing. Now I know why everyone in the restaurant was ordering dessert.

Joe's House Special Ravioli and Meatballs is still the same as I remember it. It's been more than 20 years since the last time I ate there when my Dad was still alive. I liked the remodeled restaurant that still kept the Original Theme from the past built into the new modern Century. A co worker took me here today to treat me me for Lunch. We both went at 11am when the Restaurant opened as a walk in without a reservation.

The shaved Prime Rib sandwich was absolutely delicious 😋 and the brown butter cake was everything I heard it would be! The beef ravioli was beyond good 👍🏽 Brownie a la mode was fantastic 👌🏽 Pesto chicken pasta, chicken was a bit dry. Mashed potatoes were silky smooth. Braised short rib was extremely tender and savory. The ice cream Sundae 🍨 was average

I've been coming to this place for decades. It's been remodeled and there have been some changes but it is all essentially the old school dining experience you expect or will discover if it's your first time. I don't eat veal often but I used to really love their veal parmigiana, it's still good but, it used to be much better. Since the ownership changed, the long simmered sauce, which was also served on the pasta is long gone as are the large ravioli topped with the great sauce. Now it's pre-mixed with sauce (making them soggy), and a let down compared to what they served before. I really really miss the original preparation. Pictures are Veal Parmigiana with ravioli side, linguini with clams, and butterscotch pudding. Not pictured is the prime rib dinner. Other dishes don't seem to be impacted as much and it's still a good place to eat. Not a destination spot but great for a vintage dining experience with old school staples.

Amazing Italian food! Well worth the wait, but its preferable to reserve a table to save time. Our server was friendly fast and attentive. We had caesar salad, the meat ravioli and lasagna alongside mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are so incredibly soft snd airy; probably the best we’ve had in a while. Any entree with their tomato meat sauce is worth trying. Cant wait to come back and try non-Italian dishes that looked delicious like their sliders, calamari and meat balls.

Although I grew up in SF, and my Mother recommended that we go to Joe's for dinner, a place her and Dad used to frequent What a wonderful experience!! However, it was very crowded when we arrived and the Hostess was gracious and patient with all guests. So we used OpenTable and made reservations to come back in a couple of days. Upon our return, we were promptly seated in a quaint area by the fireplace. Our server, Alberto, was very attentive. The appetizers and food came out esthetically pleasing and tasted great! We ordered desserts as well. However, parking was a challenge, especially since my Mom and I were both disable. But other than that, I highly recommend making reservations. I will certainly return to the Original Joe's of Westlake.

Treated myself to a nice late lunch for one. Ordered the pork chop with caramelized onions and mushrooms and the silky mashed potatoes. Finished off with their butter cake. Sat in the lounge soaking in atmosphere enjoying my little lunch for one. Oh! My server was amazing! Missed her name but she was amazing.

Joe's has always been a staple here In the neighborhood. The remodel has turned out fairly well. The food is is still top notch. But someone has to pay for that remodel right? So prices went up when they reopened. Then up some more like everything else. But the quality food hasn't changed. Which to me is most important. I had Thursday special which is corned beef with cabbage.

Original Joe's is fast becoming our go to place to celebrate milestones. It's pricier than a normal meal, but you get what you pay for. Had porterhouse steak, prime rib, various sides and desserts like cheesecake. Plenty leftover to take home and a delicious experience.
