This place was absolutely unreal!!!! By far the best hotel we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka and potentially the world!! Especially for the price you can’t help but be satisfied. The breakfast was very large (fresh fruit, toast, omelette, pancakes, sausages, and a fresh fruit juice which was different everyday!) They also provided unlimited top notch Ceylon tea throughout the day! The food we ordered for dinner was also very large portions and great value for money in the area. The chef can cook very well. The service was phenomenal and we were always met by a smile. I have been to countries all over the world, and The Kanit comes to the top of my mind especially for what you’re getting for the price. DO NOT HESITATE BOOKING THIS HOTEL!!!! This is the one!!

Quiet and calm place. Walking distance to the main road just 100m, Rooms are clean and well equipped as in the photos. Provide very tasty foods 100% good. Owner is so friendly and caring. Well secured place and privacy is well maintained. Recommend place, will go again next time we won’t look for a new place again if we visit again to sigiriya.

By far the smoothest, most friendly and most impeccable experience that we had in our month in Sri Lanka. The rooms were neat and comfortable, the staff were extremely attentive and did their best to make us feel comfortable at all times, and the food was absolutely delicious. The surrounding area has nice walks and a lake where we were lucky enough to spot a wild elephant roaming nearby. The location is perfect for anyone who wishes to escape more touristy spots. The hotel setting is beautiful and so well maintained. Every time we returned from one of our trips the staff offered us delicious and refreshing smoothies or pots of complimentary tea/coffee. The breakfasts (included in the price) were great, and the dinners were a choice of preset menus comprising starters, main course, and dessert at the price of a one-course meal in most restaurants. The quality/price ratio is unbeatable. My wife couldn't stop raving about the Egyptian cotton towels!! We'll certainly visit this place again in our next trip to Sri Lanka and we strongly recommend it to anyone who wants a pleasant and comfortable stay in this area.

Service is really really good The place is isolated so you don’t hear the traffic noise, is very clean as well. The food is very tasty and big portions are guaranteed! You can see they are make it with cares about.. Same thing for service, they are trying to help you in any way they can. I found uncomfortable the pillow but this is personal

This is the best place I have seen around dambulla. The place has a very nice restaurant and ambiance and also the stay was comfortable to us. The hospitality is very friendly and good. Love the way Vipula and the staffs treated us!

It was a fantastic time here at Kanit Sigiriya. Absolutely blown away by how beautiful this place is and even more wonderful is the warm hospitality of Mr. Gihan and his crew. They were regularly checking in to make sure we were comfortable and went over and beyond to guarantee we had the best time while in Sigiriya. Mr.Gihan is one of the best hosts and made sure to be available at any given hour, gave us tips about what we could do nearby, what we can avoid to better adjust the schedule to our need. He also made sure everything we needed was flexible and available when we requested it. All in all, it’s a great property nestled in nature and an absolute treat. They also have a restaurant with lip smacking food. I’m from India and I’d say this was my favourite stay throughout my trip in Sri Lanka and recommend this place a 1000%.

That was a great experience over all in The Kanit. The staff here are very friendly welcoming, food is really good. The rooms are basic but neat and clean.
