Lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere and tasty food! I felt very welcomed by the hosts, and the meal was excellent value.

For being a buffet they should have more variety of food. Had 3 full plates of the same dishes.

Very nice local buffet restaurant with cold drinks as well. Friendly owners, they explained all dishes, the spicy ones and not spicy ones. Most were a little spicy or not at all, so perfect for us… we also tried the spicy ones a bit. All were very tasty we could serve ourselves several times. At the end we were talking to the owner and showed us the long hair that she did not cut since 20+ years and she treats with king coconut oil. For 7 persons and with soft drinks, 13.300 LAK (40$), quite ok.

This is a very cheap and delicious Sri Lankan restaurant. This place was the most delicious place during my stay.

The food was very tasty and delicious. Our driver drove us there and it is really worth to visit. They use different spices and flavors typical for Sri Lanka. The atmosphere and especially the view of the nature was wonderful. Everybody was friendly and the price is very good -very cheap but breathtaking food.Over all I can definitely suggest visiting this restaurant.

Delicious lunch buffet with so many curries to try. We especially loved the jackfruit curry. Lovely host and homey comfortable setting. Definitely recommend!

Awesome food with several different curry’s that are also very good if you want to eat veggie. The staff is very nice :) :) totally worth it although the price is quite higher for tourists..

Delicious and abundant food for a very low price!!! Yummy mixture of vegetarian and chicken food with range of spiciness. Chicken curry was spectacular. Definitely going back on my return to Dambulla.

The buffet was 1800 LKR per person, it is unlimited. Rice&curry and fruits as well. Owner was very helpful and kind.

I loved it. All you can eat from a buffet with different kind of vegetables prepared lankan way. I was thrilled cause I could finally taste the veggies I only saw on markets like banana flowers, lady fingers, dambala etc. There was also chicken curry. Lovely owner!

Had an amazing meal here. The food was exceptional and had a real authenticity about it. The family running the restaurant were all so lovely and attentive to us. They supply a buffet for lunch and dinner, both with veg and non-veg options. Really competitive prices for how much you get. Would recommend this to anyone in the area.

We ate here two nights in a row it was so good! The buffet rice and curry was delicious and the host was kind and polite. Everything was clean and well presented. Fresh fruit juice was also fantastic.

We had a delicious meal at Athula and the family were so welcoming and friendly. Gunga is also a tour guide and helped us with travel information. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him for any tours around the area. Thanks to the family and we wish you all the best!

I had the best traditional meal here. Variety of choices, super friendly hosts. Highly recommend it if you would like to get a taste of real Sri Lankan cuisine.

A simple place tucked away in the corner. Great food had a wonderful experience. Ms Sandy’s was very Coperative handling special requests for kids. Home style srilankan food at its best.

This place is basiclly self-serviced ALL YOU CAN EAT for 1800lrp, food is quite tasty and you can choose from more options, but you have to pay extra for the drinks. But in the end you will get a few oieces od fruit. So, 1 star down for a bit higher price and also extra pay for drinks.

The food was incredible! Great range of non-spicy and spicy foods. Very tasty and healthy. Its a buffet set-up, so you can eat as much as you like. Chilled drinks! The staff are friendly. They can still do warm food even if there are power cuts. The spot is off the main road by a few metres, really nice and peaceful.

This place is amazing. Everything was very good, fresh and tasty. I recommend this place for families with children, there are dishes for children and adults. Excellent food in which they put a lot of heart. Visit this place! Here is really Sri Lanka

Eat as much as you can. You must try the food here. Well balanced not very complicated menu. Great service! You know the food is great when you see the cook eating the same food as you. Will come back next time in Dambulla.

Athula was our taxi driver and he gave us his card, explaining that he had a restaurant. We didn’t have high expectations but after searching on Google and seeing so many positive reviews we thought we would give it a try… Athula and his family were so welcoming and cooked amazing food! They didn’t have the drinks in stock that we wanted, so they paid a friend to go to the supermarket and buy them for us! This was our favourite night in Sri Lanka and we couldn’t recommend this restaurant more

We had a beautiful experience here! 100% recommended! The food is good, fresh and tasty (not too spicy) and the prices are really fair. It’s buffet so every one pay 1000R - including the dessert (fruit).

The food was good but the prices are very high compared to normal curry buffet. We understood that we paid 1000 more than local people, so a buffet for 1700 it is way too much. Also, the drinks were very expensive, 400 for a coke…

Very friendly and nice family. Fresh and homemade typical Srilankean Food. The Food was offered in different bowls and was enough for three (we we're two). They also offer fresh fruit juices and therefore they use bottled Water 👍 the price was worth the food😉👍

Great home cooked food - we were given a wide range of tasty vegetarian dishes which was a great way to sample Sri Lankan cuisine. Has a very homely/family run feel and the staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.
