We
were
on
our
way
to
Sigiriya
and
it
was
close
to
lunch
time.
We
happened
to
pass
by
this
restaurant
because
it
looks
clean
and
authentic,
so
decided
to
lunch
there.
It’s
a
simple
place
with
coconut
palm
leaves
roof
(cadjan),
chairs
were
comfortable
to
sit,
and
is
spacious
enough
to
not
have
to
hear
loud
conversation
of
other
customers.
The
menu
has
a
decent
selection
of
choices,
but
it’s
best
to
order
rice
and
curry
as
that’s
is
fastest
to
get
served
and
the
food
is
tasty
and
fresh.
There
was
a
misspelled
on
the
menu
for
a
shrimp
appetizer.
It
indicated
“butter
shrimps”,
but
in
fact
it
meant
“battered
shrimps”.
There
were
2
other
tables
eating
at
the
restaurant
when
we
were
there.
I
think
they
came
with
their
drivers
or
tour
guide.
They
were
all
tourists
from
Europe
(Spain
&
French),
so
perhaps
that
explained
the
food
served
was
not
spicy.
Since
I
like
spicy
food,
I
had
to
ask
them
to
make
it
like
the
local
taste,
which
they
did.
We
came
here
during
lunch,
the
place
was
bright
but
I’m
not
sure
if
I
would
want
to
come
here
for
dinner
as
it
might
be
quite
dark
and
chances
are
there
would
be
plenty
of
mosquitos
due
to
open
air
restaurant.
