Great hideaway place. Very cool place. Nicely decorated terras. Unique concept. Nearby you find a lake and you are in the middle of nature. Dambulla rock caves are in walking distance. Also lots of national parks to visit. The owner is very friendly and welcomeing.

Banda makes the BEST Kotu (it was the last of many we had in our 3 week trip in Sri Lanka). He is a very honest man. Our room was massive and spotless. 20 minute walk away from the heart of Dambulla.

If I had more time I would have stayed longer. Very peaceful and clean. The place is s gem. If you're going to Sigirya then stay here and a tuk tuk tour of the sites. Thanks Bandera, the owner. Keep up the great standards of hospitality.

Beautiful, hidden and calm little spot with the friendliest owner! Perfect if you're traveling with motorbike, tuktuk, car... (he loves motorbikes as well) but also not too far to walk from the big roads into Dambulla. The rooms are good for their price, they are clean and you can choose between AC or fan (we did fan while outside +30°C and this was doable). The beds are basic, quite hard pillows, but they do have mosquito nets so if you don't search luxury you can have a wonderful stay. Nice to walk to the cave temples. The food is not cheap but delicious! Breakfast included and also very good and plenty. I would give 4,5 stars but not possible on maps...

This hotel is truly hidden away, you may need the maps app to find it. You hear birds not traffic here. Owner is very knowledgeable about attractions all over Sri Lanka. Nice hike from here to cave temple going by the lake

A great place with a beautiful and a peaceful environment. The staff was very friendly and catered to the demands. Overall the place was ideal for a weekend gateaway.

We had an amazing stay at hideaway garage. The host was very helpful and nice. He gave us many good tips and drove us where we wanted to go. The food in the restaurant was unbelievable good. Traditional Sri Lankan food, which was very tasty. The room was big and with air condition. All in all a very good experience, will recommend to everyone who wants a local experience!

Simple and nice place for night stay in Dambulla within the city. Even it is within the city limit, you can hide easily inside this property. It is a nature friendly place which is calm and quiet. Rooms are decorated in a unique way. Also clean and staff also friendly. Recommended for night stay. Charges are affordable.
