Do not stay at this hotel, they will rip you off and attempt to gaslight you into thinking you’re the one at fault as can be seen below. Crooks, conmen, Sri Lanka’s finest. Our stay was wonderful, with the exception of dealing with Hakim and his goon Nimal. They are truly some of the most despicable individuals I’ve ever met. They attempted to add hidden fees and charges out the wazoo, told us check out was at 10 am after checking in at 6 pm, they battled with us and even resorted to fake crying in an attempt to gaslight and manipulate us. They are truly the worst you could experience in this industry. We would not recommend them to anyone - it’s just such a shame because the hotel is otherwise a wonderful stay.

Super unique experience to stay amidst the jungle in a tree house style resort! The staff were so lovely and kind and the food was particularly delicious. Make sure to plan in time to just enjoy being in the room during daylight, as this is the best part of being there. It can be a little noisy at night (which is part of the charm of being amidst all of the animals) so suggest bringing earplugs.

We much recommend to stay at this awes huome clearance styled nature villas in the wild grass. It was clean and much quit. A super place for nature and bird lovers with helpfull much friendly staff🥰🥰thanks to this resort and staff

Beautiful location, the rooms have stunning views with their all-glass walls. Staff initially seemed very friendly but we later learned they were over-charging us for taxis we booked through them.

Firstly we stayed in the Shikra villa. The villa itself was so amazingly designed with the tall glass windows with a panaramoic view of the surrounding. Absolute privacy in all aspects. Staff is so well trained and service was exceptional. Food was so tasty and generous. We also did a hike upto' the adjoining rock which is an easy 5-10 min hike and gives a breathtakingly beautiful view of the area.....😊😊😊

This is absolutely stunning place. Our experience of stay is accually excellent. Very nice , calm and quite environment. Our room surrounding environment was very beautiful and we enjoyed the nature view.

We loved our stay at Wildgrass. The rooms were of luxurious quality and for the price point they offer they serve above and beyond . The design of the hotel / rooms and restaurant is a heaven on earth for the true nature lovers . The food is so tasty and generous and service from the staff headed by Nimal is impeccable. They attended to all our needs kindly and helped us explore around the area. Overall a great find and you won't be disappointed in any aspect.

The location is excellent. Ambiance was great.However there is poor communication between the staff. The price quoted and the rooms promised was not fulfilled when we arrived. A small plate of fruits costed Rs 4300. There was no booking mechanism that was in place. Hakim and Nimal have no communication between them and since there was no email confirmation from Hakim we had to go with what Nimal said when we got to the location

It wasn’t what we were expecting. Photos online and on social media made it look better than what it was in real life so we were disappointed. There’s not really a lot to see or do there. We went for a short walk only to find a muddy swamp. The dinner we had was really nice but the breakfast was the opposite. Not very nice, dry and not many options. We chose to dine at the main area both times and found the experience awkward. It was dead silent, there should have been some relaxing background music playing to set the mood. The waiter also stood around often almost watching us eat which I found strange. If you’re looking for isolation, a place to have silence and meditate, it’s probably a good option for you but not for us.

The staff is very helpful. Food is really tasty too. We can either get food delivered to the villa or can eat in the dining hall. Dining hall also has a nice view. We stayed in shikra villa which is for two people. There are villas for more than two people too. In front of shikra villa there is a small reservior and the view is nice.

They provided delicious food with traditional varieties. All five of the staff members who worked there were excellent. Thanks to the hotel manager for arranging our room reservation and other services we needed. Thank you for all.

Super super isolated location. Only birds are there to make some noise. Manager Mr. Nimal and other guys are very supportive. Very large rooms with glass walls. However breakfast need to be further improved.

The food, service and location is great. The rooms are ok, we had an issue with the AC as well as the water pressure but were minor inconveniences rather than glaring issues. You have to take your vehicle right up to your chalet which is ok but something like a buggy or even bicycles would've been better.

I talked with guy named Hakim for Reservation. Right away guy asked the reservation for foreigners or locals. They shouldn't keep double standards. Even it is cheaper for locals I don't see a point charging extra for foreigners. These cunning tactics will ruin our image of hospitality as a nation.
