My friends and I had a fabulous stay here! We found out about this place through a blog that raved about it. They exceeded all our expectations. The facility is lovely and very homey. The owner was incredibly generous and welcoming. The rest of the staff were warm, friendly and prepared amazing dishes. They also got up early to make breakfast for us so we could go on our early adventures fully caffeinated and fed. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this to anyone!

Great location, nice family run resort with great food and a lovely fresh water swimming pool after a hot day of sightseeing. Rooms are simply made with comfortable beds and have both fans and A/C. Enjoyed myself so much we stayed 3 nights.

If you're looking to chill, relax and rewind from city life and if you're at Dambulla, seek Sevonrich Holiday resort. Chandana, the owner of the resort is a down to earth and really helpful person. Right from the pickup, arranging the rooms prior reaching, guiding us to places, till dropping at the bus stop. Such a humble and resourceful person. As I was a vegetarian, he served me separate and fresh vegetarian food which was thoughtful.. I recommend this place 100%

In this small hotel we found a very helpful owner. After a confusing start he did everything was in his power to help us out. His staff took on two different ride with no money ask. Thanks for the great hospitality

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Sevonrich! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit. He went above and beyond to organise the tours we wanted and ensured we got the best prices possible. Of course the swimming pool is also a great way to cool off from a day of exploration in the sunshine. The area is very clean and the attentive staff are constantly cleaning. The resort is outside the town, but that is no problem as the host kindly collected us from the bus stop and dropped us back to town when we were leaving. The food was exceptional as well. The breakfasts were a delightful start to the day, and the dinners were simply outstanding. I can confidently say that the evening meal was some of the best we've had in all of Sri Lanka. The variety of dishes offered to us every evening was exceptional. Without a doubt, this deserves a 5 out of 5 rating, and we would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking to explore Sigiriya, Dambulla or an adventurous safari.

I stayed at the hotel one night. The hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are quite spacious. The beds have a mosquito net which is extremely helpful! The staff are very professional and helpful. The owner is an excellent host. I do recommend it.

Very nice place. The service is too good. The owner was very friendly and ready to help. The price also looks fair. He also dropped us in the bus station so that we could go to Kandy. The food was also decent. Highly recommend.

Such a great time we spent in this place!! We booked also the dinner and honestly was the best decision ever. Moreover than food and accomodation, they help us with the transportation EVERYWHERE and it was awesome. Together with the guest, we did the best itinerary for 2 days in Dambulla. We had the best stay at Sevonrich, I can not recommend it enough! The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodating. He gave us lots of tips on things to do as well as helped organizing them. He was very at tentative to our needs, and ensured we had a comfortable stay. Plus the pool is the perfect way to cool down from the heat! Highly recommend!

Well, my stay was really pleasent, the owner and staff were really helpful , the room are clean with comfy bed. The swimming pool in awesome you can cool down after expolring Dambulla, Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. The owner can arrange A toktok with descent price with really experience driver yo move you around the attractions and extra bouns place where tourist are not getting the chance of seeing it. Highly recommend ❤️

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are small but have everything you need. A/C and Fan worked great and the bathroom was also fine. The resort provides great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food always varies, so we also got to now different local foods. Especially great was the service. We got picked up/and driven from/to the bus station. The owner and his family are very caring and liked to show us around, e.g. they showed us a great spot to watch the sunset over Dambulla. They also have a great TukTuk driver, that showed us the area and different cool spots around Sigiriya. Worth every single rupee! I highly recommend the tour for everybody who is interested in more then the normal touristic spots!

great place to stay! the owner is very welcoming. the food is great as well. The owner takes you to a special spot in the evening for watching the sunset. Its a gorgeous spot! The rooms are a litle small but overall all the amenities are available.

Amazing experience! Would 100% recommend to any traveller - young or old! Such a friendly family that helped us so much throughout our stay with recommending places, organising tuktuks and tours. We even got stuck in a huge thunder storm and they were so accommodating; helping us the whole time and letting us stay an additional night. The hotel itself is in an incredible location that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere - beautiful scenery everywhere. It feels like paradise when chilling in the lovely pool. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to or near Dambulla. Thank you so much!!

Warmly host, clean rooms, clean pool, yummy food. If you are lucky they take you to a beautiful sunset spot just 5 minutes walking distance from the resort. We can highly recommend to stay here.

The owner is such a great guy! Hospitality to the max. Really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast and buffet diner were so tasty. The staff helps you with anything you need. Recommended when you are in the area.

Really recommend this place, 110 % or even more! Chandana, the owner, is just perfect host and really nice and funny person. He helped us a lot, recommended places to visit, gave us useful tips and organized full day trip for us. He picked us up in Nilaveli, few days after we left Sevonrich Resort, took us to Pindurangala and then to Minneriya National Park and also showed us some other hidden places which we would not be able to visit without him. Thank you for taking care of us, Chandana! It was really fun and nice time we spent with you, at your nice and cosy resort as well as on the day trip! 🙏🙂

We would definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed here for three nights, and felt welcome from when we arrived. There is no lunch available at the hotel, although the owner is very helpful, in regards to finding something else, or even cooking something. The pool area is great, and is placed in the sun for most of the day, and is fairly clean. Dinner in the evening was mostly buffet, which was great for all three days! The hotel has a local guide, who comes and takes everyone for a nearby Sunset spot, free of charge. We used this guide for our tours, and he was incredible. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, everyone here was incredibly friendly. Ps. They have super nice dogs!

Some places you stay and it's just a place to stay, and some places add a little magic to your adventure. Sevonich Hotel Resort was one of these places that add a little magic. The owners were helpful with activities and travel plans. But my favourite was Chandana. He's soft spoken and funny. He has been with the hotel for 11 years. He's a great cook, tour guide and driver. Thank you for the amazing stay.

We had a nice experience at this accomodation. We stayed 2 nights, 4 people in 2 double rooms. The accomodation is close to Golden temple. The rooms were very clean. Both breakfast and dinner were very good and variate - traditional food. The owner arranged for us several trips: -1st day-Dambulla to Sigiriya by tuktuk at sunset (tuktuk driver was like a guide also providing us info and also drove us to see nice view points and also local animals) -2nd day- Dambulla-Pidurangalla at sunrise and afterwards to Pollonaruwa by tuktuk - the drivers took us to see all sites and we had just a little to walk. -3rd day-Dambulla-Kandy- the owner drove us with his car and waited for as at Ambuluwawa Tower (very hard to go by car but the owner took us without complaining) and also arranged for us on the way a Herbal garden experience. On short, everything was great (also the pool from the location :) ) and you can count on the owner to have the greatest experience for the best price.

Very clean and comfortable place. But there is not enough space in outside for relaxing... its jam packed from outside....

We had an amazing stay here the place is amazing- situated right in the heart of the jungle with a lovely swimming pool. The hosts are so lovely- we had to change dates at the last minute and stay an extra night and they could not be more accommodating!! Highly recommend!

I would give the service 10 stars if I could. Our original hotel for the night was a disaster since there were millions of ants under the bed and the owner of this hotel came in the middle of the night just to pick us up. He was really friendly and not annoyed at all. He gave us a really nice room that was clean and even made us breakfast in the morning. The price was perfect for what you got and if we had more time, I would’ve tried out the pool but it sure looked amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
