Went here for lunch. Unfortunately we were the only people there (which is a shame). We got a buffet of vegetarian dishes for just 1000 rupees and it was delicious. The place itself is also quite cozy, so go visit and fill it with life

We dropped by on our way to Heritance Kandalama. The food was tasteful and we truly enjoyed it. The place was clean with simple decor and furniture. If you want to support a local small business and enjoy great local food this is the place to go.

The home kitchen is the best place around hear to get food. Continuously 3day we get dinner. Rice & curry not available in the evening. Food tastes ok. Reasonable price.

Called ahead just in case using contact info on Google and went ahead for dinner... Even though there was a power cut, they were still accommodating... Having high standards for taste (coming from Southern SL) this was easily the very best dinner I've ever had... The rice and curry was absolutely scrumptious and the highlight was resavoir freshwater fish curry. Even though I could not see much due to the power cut that didn't affect the taste and the food was absolutely delicious... easily can consider a second helping even though even if I usually don't. 100% going again if I revisit dambulla. Can confidently reccomend to anyone, the hosts/chef/manager are all a family and very hospitalable. Very very reasonable price. Parking on roadside and in front of the restaurant but not much of an issue because it's not particularly bust especially at night. Very clean and welcoming place.

This is an amazing vegetarian and vegan restaurant. Would highly recommend if you are looking for vegan food in Dambulla. Fresh and very tasty.

Rice & Curry was already finished at 18:00, so we had to order fried rice with chicken, which tasted really good. Big plus: GIANT portions, one meal would have been enough for us. One star deduction for the already finished standard meal to an early hour and especially the overpriced Tuk Tuk prices after meal. We are used more guest orientated prices here in Sri Lanka after you already had lunch/diner at their place.

Fantastic restaurant. Had one of best curries for lunch at Home Kitchen Dambulla. The owner was very friendly and even stored our luggage as we quickly visited the caves before continuing to Sigiriya.

Fantastic Rice & Curry! We came here twice during our stay in Dambulla and would come again anytime! It‘s a buffet style restaurant where you can help yourself to the different dishes (with second serving too!) and this for a fair price (750.- rupies). The curries vary every day and everything we had was super yummy. And the owners are veeery nice and talkative too!
