Located at the heart of the Dambulla town, Delight Restaurant is one of the great places to have your meal. Food is delicious and fresh. They have a combination of both bakery items and the local menu. Sadly no hot beverage was available for breakfast (during the time I visited). The price is very reasonable and the staffs are very friendly. This place is very clean and hygienic. A car park is available. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. The price is very reasonable. overall highly recommend the place to have your meal.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my family and ordered chicken biryani. However, they served the lunch in boxes instead of plates. When I requested plates to dine in, they refused and said they couldn’t give plates even though there were plates stacked in the kitchen. Since I didn’t get plates, I requested a refund which they gave. It’s very rude to not give even plates for dine-in customers. I would not recommend this restaurant

Came here for both lunch and dinner whilst staying in Dambulla, as this restaurant was directly across the road from our hotel. For lunch I had a vegetarian filled roll, followed by a generous slice of Swiss Roll! For dinner I had the vegetable biriyani. Both meals were excellent - I thoroughly enjoyed dining here both times.

Restaurant situated in the the heart of Dambulla Town on the A9 road. Very clean & hygiene. Toilets are well maintained & clean. Variety of foods available from short eats to set menus. Prices are very reasonable. This restaurant chain originating from Kandy is well known for its kawum & cookies. During Lunch time there is Rice & Curry as well as a Set menu,Lamprais, biriyani, nasigoreng rice and Fried Rice. Due to this restaurant being very busy at the Lunch time menus run out very quickly. And we observed that staff service is very poor in attentiveness and slow in processing. All in all it is a nice place to dine-in and take away.

A great restaurant to get short eats, sweet items and main meals. The place is neat and clean. We tried Mixed Fried Rice, Chicken Kottu, Set menu Fried Rice and Nasi Goreng. Set menu: Fried Rice served immediately and rest of them served within 20-30 mins.  The foods were hot and fresh, and delicious as well. The portion was good and the price was reasonable. The staff is really nice, polite, friendly and efficient. We got Caramel pudding and Watalappan as the dessert. The Caramel pudding was better than Watalappan in my opinion. We bought some sweet items as well. They were of good quality and taste. The place is crowded most of the time. There are few tables for dine-in. Washrooms are also okay. Vehicle parking is available in front of the restaurant, for about 5/6 vehicles.

We had Lamprais from here. Delight really lives up to their name. Good service, good food, and it’s really clean and nice place to refresh yourself.

The show card was a beautiful picture nasi goren. But lack of food part. No sauce, No cucumber and no pineapple. Too much oil and salt.

Restaurant is tidy and clean. Parking is available. I got biriyani and chocolate pudding. Food taste is OK, but biriyani potion is not enough.

Recommended! Delicious food and a better restaurant compared to the other famous restaurants in Dambulla. They have a good variety of sweets, cakes and meals including fried rice, set menu, kottu, biryani & nasigorang etc. Nice & clean atmosphere too.

Highly suggested, very clean, very kind staff. Huge selection of traditional sweets. They serve a good cup of plein tea for 50 rupiies and tea with milk for 150 rupies. They serve also rice & curry for lunch and fried rice during the day! Dont miss it!

The food is Amazing 🤩 It's a perfect example of " Don't Judge a Book By it's Cover" This restaurant looks like a bakery but the food is just Outstanding 🔥 I would highly recommend Nasi Goreng and their Special Rice. The perfect balance of every spice and the taste is just yum😋 The food taste and quality is way better than a 5 star restaurant.
