As a legal assistant, I deal with a lot of consulates. Djibouti is by far the best. They are extremely well organized, respond to emails in a timely manner with the information needed and are extremely fast. Thank you for the great work you do!

This was my first visit to an US embassy and it was not what I expected. I figured it would be like a DMV or IRS office visit filled with angry guards and depressed staff. I went today to get my daughter's CRBA and first passport and it was a smooth experience. The guards were firm but polite and the consular was very friendly and communicated well. My daughter slept through most of the whole experience.

Great service. I had an interview with my pregnant wife and 3 years old son in the 20th of December 2018 whom I applied for. The consular and other employers were very good. and i apprenticed all the hard work they did for us from the first step we entered the embassy. all i can say i hope they give my wife and son their visa so i can travel with them together to the USA, especially when its new year. Happy New Year!

As a citizen of the United States of America I found that this embassy was just as easy to deal with as any other USA embassy I have been to in the world. They are there to help us when we are abroad. I was treated with respect, and made me feel proud to be a citizen of the greatest most powerful nation on Earth. God Bless America

The amount of the disrespect that the Staff and security has for petitioners is just crazy. Since when council officers are allowed to ask knowledgeable questions to DV lottery candidates?

They don’t answer phone calls or respond to emails. I have emailed them twice and its been over a month with no reply.

I have been applying for DV lottery since 2011. Once I got a chance in the last year by winning, I selected this embassy to interview. Unfortunately, the embassy didn't do its job properly in the last financial year by ignoring my case. My case was ready by June 2022, but the staffs in this embassy claimed that there is no available slot for the upcoming 2 months until the end of the year of 2022. Meanwhile, they interviewed winners from the year of 2023 on October, Nov, and Dec 2023. So, I tried to transfer my case, after trying with this embassy, but it was too late, then I lost my chance. ....
