This is the kind of hotel you only spend a night and move on to your next destination place. It has all your basic needs. Few food places nearby within a walking distance. The room, at least mine is large enough for 4 people to move around. I even used the small gym. It was nice. The breakfast is typical. Our family stay here every time we go on a cruise ship. It’s airport shuttle service definitely a plus. Nothing fancy but good enough.

I stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with another family we were travelling with for a cruise (in total: 4 adults, 3 kids) and this was plenty of space. Staff was super awesome. We got to check-in quite a bit early AND check-out a bit later to accomodate our cruise boarding times made our travels a lot less stressful. While this hotel is a bit older than the newer Hyatt Place that was directly across from us, we chose this for the larger rooms (for about the same price) which is IMHO more ideal for family travel. The rooms were clean although I was a bit disappointed there was no safe. Wifi was pretty good as well and easy to connect to. The free breakfast was good. It wasn’t that big, but had a decent selection and I’m sure has something for everyone. For the price, this hotel was great value and I would recommend it for family travel.

This was the absolute worst travel experience I’ve ever encountered. Stayed at Hyatt Houses all over the country for business- a decade long Hyatt Member. This was a planned one night stop to make a connecting flight to the Bahamas the following morning for a family vacation. Well, my family, with two young children, have never been treated so rudely. PRICSILLA who was working the bar and restaurant should be terminated immediately. We arrived at 10:36pm after a long day of traveling and flight delays due to weather. We were excited to see on the website that they hhave a restaurant open until 11pm. When we arrived there were also 2 signs that said they were open until 11pm. There were 4 or 5 people Eating and drinking. My wife went up to ask about getting food for our hungry kids and was shunned away “nope, we’re closed”. Are you open until 11 or not?? I understand it’s a holiday- but either be open or don’t be! Do not false advertise! Priscilla went on to chastise me in front of other staff and hotel guests that “I should have fed my kids before”. That would have been a great plan PRICILLA if we didn’t just spend 7 hours on tarmac’s and in the air. Maybe look at a weather report if you choose to work at an airport hotel restaurant the rest of your life. This was December 25th 2022. Delays and cancellations everywhere. One of the most disrupted travel days in years. YOU WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AT AN AIRPORT HOTEL! . She also absolutely wreaked of Marijuana on top of her aggressive rude behavior. To top it all off- The hotel ran out of PILLOWS! I kid you not. We had NO pillows for the pull out bed to for our kids to use. We were also told we’d have to “come get the blankets ourselves”. When I arrived at the front desk there were a total of 3 employees doing literally nothing but talking to each other. Then, PRISCILLA came from around the corner when I asked for the blankets to start ANOTHER argument with me! What planet was this crazy lady trained on!!! Anyway, one of them couldn’t run a couple blankets up to us?? In short it is now my life mission as a decade long Hyatt member to let as many people know this hotel has the rudest most unkind trashy staff that are doing drugs while working! Pricilla fell just short of threatening me and my family. I will be contacting hotel and corporate management not that I expect them to do anything given they employ such a degenerate. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. There are plenty of other hotels nearby to pick from.

My husband and I stayed here last week. We very much enjoyed the experience. The front desk staff were very helpful (Priscilla & Torrance). There is a convenient little bar for a drink -and some food - very nice if it is raining, which it was ! Lana, our bartender was very pleasant. We would choose to stay here again.

Great location! Free airport shuttle. Walkable to multiple restaurants and shopping. Friendly staff. The hotel was clean and the beds are comfortable. They have a nice continental breakfast which includes non-dairy milk for coffee and cereal. A great place for a pre-cruise stay.

Nice, clean and modern installations. The apartments are well equipped with everything you need to cook if you want to. The bed is very comfortable. The only downside is the breakfast, but it’s free so.

Old hotel needing a lot of improvements to make it up to date! Bathroom are old, AC very very noisy, elevators are old and slow, only 1 in each aisle, so you need to wait a lot. They have removed ice machines, so you need to go to the bar to get some. the breakfast is less than ordinary! The girl at the front desk seems not concerned at all by the customers, it’s like we are disturbing her if we ask her a question or if we need something! New at the Hyatt, they no longer do the rooms every day, unless you ask for it! They will do the room automatically only after 5 days of stay! We are paying for a hotel not a camping! Next time I will choose another brand and I recommend others to do so!

I was very disappointed. The room is very dark and depressing. This hotel is old and needs a re-fresh. There was hair on the bed and cleaning did not seem was done thoroughly. They didn’t clean or refresh our towels for the whole duration of our stay, even though we kept asking to clean the room. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

First off, Priscilla at the front desk is amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly and smiling. A Rarity these days. Check-in went smoothly and the room was really nice. Great for long term stay even though we only stayed overnight. Beds in the double are a little small for 4 ppl but fine for overnight. The room overlooked the pool and it looked pretty clean. Will stay here again.

Stayed here before a cruise and had a few issues. We asked for a crib and I had to follow up a few times and never actually received it. The front desk person also gave us conflicting information about the cruise port shuttle and how to charge for kids. I'm just glad they still let our family on the shuttle. The room was fine, but after this experience I'm considering changing our preferred hotel chain.

This hotel is amazing! The room was clean and very spacious, the bathroom is nice. The staff were nice and helpful, check-in was a breeze (less then 2 minutes)! Studio King Suite, includes: • Living room with TV and an L-shaped sofa bed with 2 ottomans. • Kitchenette with counter space, 2 range electric stovetop, pots, dishes, flatware & utensils, glasses, cutting board, dish soap & towel, full fridge/freezer and a table with 4 chairs. • Bedroom has a comfortable bed with a 3-drawer wide dresser on one side and a small 3-drawer night table on the other. There are darkening shades and a TV. • Bathroom includes a big shower, nice powder area and a closet (don't know why the closet is in the bathroom, I would've flipped it to the living room area, no big deal) All rooms have a significant amount of light including lamps, ceiling and wall fixtures. In short, we booked last minute literally 10 minutes before arrival (due to a unforseen issue elsewhere) for just one night and we ended up extending our stay for the rest of our trip. I must say, it is very frustrating to look at reviews and lookout for issues which can turn you away but in reality, like this hotel, they don't exist. This place is great and I highly recommend it.

I am a business traveler and recently switched from Hilton to Hyatt. This hotel was unique as it is set up as a suite with a mini-kitchen and a living room separate from the bedroom. The room was clean and organized. They did serve free breakfast and I was impressed with the property overall. The only negative was that you have to use your room key to access parking which is all 1 level in the first floor and they charge $5 for parking.

Arrived here for a precruise one night stay. The room was nice and had a kitchenette but pans needed replacing. The closet doors in the bathroom were off their tracks and unusable. Free breakfast in the morning was a miss. We went down at 8:45am (closed at 10a) and so many items were out. Hash browns, cereal, waffles - nothing. It looked like one person was trying to keep up but just wasn’t working out. We walked over to Hyatt Place next door and the breakfast was delicious!!

The staff here are nice but I despise these extended stays for my short layovers. Super slow elevators … pain getting in and out of parking .. REALLY poor shower water pressure and one of the appliances in the kitchen was beat up. I don’t care how nice a hotel may be. Give me slow elevators and a bad shower and not much else matters ! They cheap out on the important stuff.

Great little hotel in a convenient location near the airport and cruise port. Huge clean rooms with full kitchen (full size fridge, stovetop, dishwasher) and living area. Beautiful bathrooms. Good free breakfast with eggs, sausage, hash browns, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower could have been better.

Would give ZERO! Been promised my room for more than 4 hours. Every hour is "30 more minutes " Wasted the WHOLE day waiting for my room!! STAY AWAY They ruined my trip! Post cruise 1 night stay with early check in request. Watched so many people get rooms but here I am STILL WAITING. 4:30 and STILL NO ROOM UPDATE: took 6.5 hours to get my room and was offered a "free" water from the drink cooler for the inconvenience........

This is a great hotel. From the amount of space you get in your room all the way to the breakfast selection. It’s really perfect. Breakfast in the morning should be a requirement for all hotels. This place really does it well too. Also I appreciate the private parking. Will definitely be returning to this hotel next time I’m in the area.

We stayed here twice at the beginning of our vacation and at the end. The end happened to coincide with the some of the worst rain/flooding in Fort Lauderdale history. The airport shut down and the hotel was packed. Special shoutout to the operations manager who kept the place going and stayed positive and friendly in an extremely challenging environment with limited staff. The roads were flooded and his staff couldn’t get in. The double king was comfortable for our family of five and it was fantastic having two bathrooms. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was good and there was coffee and water available all day.

Nice brand new location with very nice rooms and a decent breakfast. What's made this place stand out? Was that it is right Literally next door to a complete entertainment district!

Lovely location for the cruise ports. Great breakfasts. Our room on the third floor needed a lot of maintenance. Tub faucet falling off the wall and rolling blinds were not in working order. One elevator was not working either. But overall, we had restful sleep and good breakfast. Room was clean.

Enjoying my stay here! Very friendly front desk staff. Room is clean and well appointed. Location is great - with walkable nearby shops and restaurants. Shuttle to airport and cruise port is offered (additional cost for cruise port - but that is expected). I would recommend staying here!

I would like to offer a few suggestions Things that need improvement 1. Train your night staff and the lady at night. I have read several reviews on line about this specific staff member and it is true her customer service is horrible at best. Seemingly uninterested about her job and her customers she serves. 2. Update your key system. Going up to your room with a set of keys that don’t unlock the doors is a bad first impression. Having the guest come back down to exchange the key is not a good representation 3. Clean the rooms actually. At no time did I see house keeping on site. I even phoned for extra towels and they said they would have to wait until housekeeping comes in the morning and they were very rude in there response. 4. Clean the rooms. All counter, floors and microwave were dirty and not cleaned. The trash smelled and the dent cared out through the room. 1of 2 phones in the room worked and they were outdated and dirty. The television screen had splashes of some substance. The floor had a oily grumpy feel to it. The bed sheets were solided and damp. There were rust like spots on the sheets possibly bed bugs residue/droppings. Paint/Art was broken and outdated. Doors barely shut. Smells of foreign smoking substance. All table ware was used and placed back in the drawer without washing. 5. Provide amenities such as tooth brush, napkins, sanitizer, shower slippers 6. Better HVAC system the circulating air was terrible. 7. A real continental breakfast. The breakfast served was one you would find at a help shelter. That is not a breakfast for guest of a hotel. It doesn’t cost that much more to have better food options 8. Smile more. I did not see one staff that seemed liked they enjoyed working there. That would be a reflection of the management. Moral seems at its lowest. 9. Clean your pool. That is a clear indicator of the cleanliness of the hotel. 10. Bottle water as a service and a water server would be what is needed 11. More signage. Didn’t know half of the stuff and had the ask your unfriendly desk agent. 12. Talk to your customers and ask how is it going or can you assist Things your hotel got right. 1. The bar down stairs seems to be a good place to unwind 2. The shuttle service. It’s good but the drivers are unfriendly and seem rushed and only on it for the money 3 . Small convenience store in the hotel. But I do think the prices are expensive 4. The kiosk for booking a shuttle this was great. 5. Business section for guest to use a computer. Please try to update computer to a newer version

Great staff, location and rooms. Got woken up around 1am Sunday morning to very loud music that lasted for an hour. Cannot be sure if was coming from inside the Hotel or nearby.

Perfect location for our overnight stay before our cruise. It's walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Free complimentary shuttle service from the airport. Would definitely stay there again.

I must say that being a high brand I was expecting a little bit more while the rooms have the amenities of a Homewood suites are a stay America with the kitchenette and dining room. I was expecting the room to be a little bit, more cleanliness and up-to-date upon check-in, I was greeted by the bartender, who I guess does dual shifts bartend and check people in, well I came in and he kind of had a head nod telling me to come forward. I guess I was perplexed by this, so I kind of stood there, and someone else behind me stepped right in front of me and said I’ll take your best room you have, and ask for an upgrade. Start by this and again I’m not trying to cause a scene. I just let the man proceed and get checked in once completed. I didn’t ask for an upgraded didn’t ask for anything fancy and the man put me into a handicap room of all things I’m not handicap, but he put me in a handicap room, a bit disappointed in the service for a five nights stay, which I would’ve thought I’ve been treated a little bit better. I think next time I’ll be staying at a different place.

Highly recommend this well managed property. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms and common areas are clean and well maintained. I had a nice King suite which was equipped as advertised. The outdoor pool was clean and outfitted with lounge chairs and towels. The property is just 50 yards away from shopping and a great selection of restaurants. Ft. Lauderdale airport is only a 6 minute drive from here and the hotel even has a free shuttle. All and all this hotel is a winner.

I would like to start by saying I am primarily a Marriott member, when I was looking for a quick one night stay that was close to FLL I noticed that most of the Marriott properties looked older. I decided to give Hyatt House a try, based on photos the facility looked new, clean, and was willing to give it a try. I was very disappointed. When I arrived the first thing I noticed was the A/C was out in the hallway, and my room had a hard time cooling down. The room itself looked fairly rough, and in desperate need of a re-fresh. There was urine in the toilet, the room itself looked dirty, and cleaning did not seem to be very thorough. The primary thing I enjoyed was the area, there is everything you need all within walking distance.

I had an excellent stay. From my first interaction with Antz at the front desk to Chen in the breakfast lobby. The hotel was clean and quiet throughout my stay. Rooms were very spacious and the beds made for a great nights sleep. The hotel is also located in an area with a lot of dining options nearby. Would definitely stay here again! Kudos to all hotel staff!

This Hyatt location is either brand new or very recently remodeled. Our room was very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Having a kitchen in the room was a nice benefit. Best of all was the HUGE shower and bathroom. The swimming pool was small, but we didn't choose this hotel for the pool. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our travel agent booked our stay the night before our cruise 3/10/22. We arrived late about 9pm very tired from a day of traveling. It was a nice suite until I went into the bedroom to freshen up . There were ants on the night table! So we went to the front desk and mentioned maybe someone spilled a drink. They told my husband they would have an exterminator go in and spray. We went to the bar/ restaurant for about1 hour and then went back to the room. We were so tired from traveling we needed to get some rest. Now the ants were on the night table and in the BED! We advised the front desk with pictures and was told they are aware the hotel has a problem!!!!My daughter also stayed that night and her room was fine! I was never offered another room. Besides unless this problem is corrected immediately our travel agent will not book or recommend your hotel. Everything else was okay.

One of the best experiences I've had traveling! The staff here went above and beyond to answer any and all questions. They made sure our stay was great! Will definitely stay here again when I return to Fort Lauderdale. Also you can't beat the location! Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

It was so nice! The room had a full kitchen with a stove and regular size refrigerator. The bed was comfy, bathroom was super nice, and the room is huge. I stayed in a studio king room one night and a one bedroom king another night. They are basically the same size room, the only difference is that the one bedroom has a bedroom you can close and two TVs instead of one. We were very impressed. It’s in Dania point which had endless options of restaurants and stores etc.

We stayed at the Hyatt House in Fort Lauderdale for a one night stay on our way back from Saint Croix. The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very spacious. Our flight out of Fort Lauderdale was late in the afternoon so I asked the front desk supervisor if we could have a late check out. Not only was he accommodating but he invited the rest of my family to hang out with us until we left for the airport. He was so kind to my girls and my family. His personality was infectious! That kind of service is hard to find. So this is a HUGE shout out to ANTZ!!!! Keep being an amazing person and the world will give back amazing things to you!

I got to give this place credit. While Hyatt normally had high standards, this crew went above and beyond. The hotel was clean the time were spacious and the staff made the stay 5 star worthy. It's situated right next to a giant outdoor mall and movie theater. For a working professional this place is ideal. Highly recommended and will come back as necessary.

This is my favorite Hotel when I'm going on a cruise. We were also able to get our COVID Testing at the hotel just ask and they will give you the number to call. Some people were tested in their rooms and some in the beautiful Lobby . Additionally nearby restaurants are so easy walk to, and I mean really close maybe 100 ft. Oh and "In Ramien" restaurant was the best. The hotel also has really good complementary breakfast. I worked out in the gym and it had a nice view of the pool.

Amazing stay. Young girl at the front desk is amazing and went above and beyond for my family Prescilla is her name. Margaritas at the bar were amazing. Room was spotless everyday thanks to house keeping. Will be staying here in the future.

I’ve stayed both here & Hyatt Place right across the street, and while I love the modern & spacious rooms, the staff are what put our experience over the top.. Chi, who assists with breakfast, is such a sweetheart; and Antz at the front desk has a great service and personality.. Patricia does her best to help as well. Just short of being right on a beach, location is near perfect lol

Traveled here from Baltimore. The service outstanding. The breakfast amazing do not miss out it's like I would definitely come again. The bar was nice, starbucks fare good. As a Hospitality Specialist I throughly enjoyed my stay. Clean suites. Close to shops and food! A hop and skip from the airport. Check with the hotel for shuttle service!

It is within walking distance to shops like Five Below. 3 stars because no bell hop. The rooms were big and the accessible room that I had, had a step over and into the tub. It was low although.. Complimentary continental breakfast offered. I missed it. Very expensive. $254 for one night and basically no amenities.
