Stayed at the Meridian and luckily got a seat at the bar with no reservations. Great Latin menu. Had grilled octopus that was made to perfection. Charred on the outside and butter soft on the inside. The guac had a nice twist with pickled jalapeno. Had the snapper for the main, and it was excellent. Grilled, and then finished in the oven with creamy sauce. Heavenly. I will definitely be back here next time I'm in town.

My favorite spots for happy hour! The food is cooked with tasty Latin flavors. Richard the GM is super attentive, James the chef runs the kitchen incredibly and MC the bartender whips up the most refreshing cucumber martini’s ever!! Great food, great people, without a doubt great service and fantastic music!! I would say 10 out of 10!

This place gets 5 Stars right off the bat!!! The food, atmosphere and service were SPOT ON! The dinning area is very spacious with wide open seating and a nice view of the kitchen at work. There are private rooms as well for meetings and events. Now lets get to the food! We had the Amarillo Ceviche, OMG! One of the best I've ever had. This is the spicy version and so worth it. The sauce I was licking up with my spoon just to eat it! Next app was the grilled Octopus! Again OMG! The smoky flavor of the grill made the octopus so tender, you could cut it with a fork. I a was simply amazed with all the flavors across both dishes. I had to stop eating to save room for the whole snapper main course. The Snapper - served grilled, I have to say it again OMG! The flavors of the fish, the two different salsa's that came with it and the side slaw all complimented each other perfect. Then you take the bibb lettuce and make a nice fish taco! The perfect meal for two! Now onto desert - Tres Leches: OMG AGAIN! I have never tasted anything so good. The perfect fluffiness, the flavors and cream and fruit all went together so nicely. Then the service, perfect, didn't miss a thing, gave great suggestions on what to order for each course, Sabastian did a wonderful job! We will be back? ARE YOU KIDDING, YES!!!

Food was delicious and did not disappoint, especially for the steak lovers. Chose this restaurant to celebrate my brothers birthday. We were a party of 17. The waitress was kind and efficient. The only issue we encountered was the menus weren’t handed to us nor on the table until we were asked for our drink order. I would still recommend this restaurant for large groups looking for a place to dine.

This is a pan Latin restaurant that specializes in Peruvian cuisine. They had several seafood dishes. I had the Lomo Saltado cooked a medium rare. It was done a little on the rarer side, but it was absolutely delicious. There was so much flavor packed into the meal. My favorite part of the experience was the ambiance. Toro is a stunning restaurant. The decor was thoughtfully done. I loved the details, such as the leather placemats, ceramic plates, and steak knives. It was a lovely experience walking into such a pretty restaurant.

One of the best hidden gems in Broward County! Great food & Mezcal menu! Do the tasting! And they're hosting a first of it's kind Mezcal festival (Mezcal Lauderdale) this spring!

TORO may be in a hotel, but don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s a “hotel restaurant.” My goodness! What a spectacular meal. Literally everyone said it was possibly the best food they ever had. The service was impeccable. We got dessert, too and it’s was divine. The Tres Leches Cake and churros are not to be missed. If you’re in the Ft. Lauderdale area, you need to have this on your must go to restaurant list!

Very nice place, we really had a good time here! Service was over the top, no complaints!! The food was amazing!! We had steak and was worth every penny!! We noticed a lot of people ordering the burger, which I honestly think the place is too fancy for a burger lol but we will definitely come back for that! My husband loves tequila and he loved the flight he ordered, they have a very broad selection of tequila. Truly recommend this place, you'll have a great experience!!

"The experience was exceptional: from the delicious food and exquisite drinks to the impeccable service. The desserts, especially the churro and tres leches, were delightful. We want to highlight the surprisingly kind and attentive service of our waiter, Ava. Thank you, Ava, for making our evening even more special with your dedicated attention."

This is one of the best meals I’ve had. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Prawns and the steak was my highlight. The appetizers are unique. All the dishes have a unique cultural fusion twist to them. Highly recommend.

We had dinner at the "whiskey library " Toro restaurant. While we didn't have whiskey, we enjoyed a very pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, and prompt friendly service from Tahira. The ceviche was amazing. The adjoining hotel offered an expansive lobby and bar.

Had a dinner date with my GF last night at TORO, it's a really nice spot, don't judge its location. Made a reservation via Open Table. There were only a few guests at the tables and a couple at the bar, One side of the restaurant was closed, maybe because it was a Tuesday night. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The steaks were good, the 8oz Filet was much better than the 8oz Wagyu Picanha. The filet was overcooked just a little bit. The Brussel sprouts were very good, the truffle fries were just ok. The smoked tequila old fashioned was good but not great. I appreciate the bartender delivering the drinks. There was a manager near the table, maybe he was the chef, but he wasnt touching the tables. Again the place is nice, the food is good, maybe too many people in shorts and sneakers killed the atmosphere. The bill was $180. The parking is validated aka Free. We will give it another shot in the future, perhaps on a weekend, expecting a better vibe.

Absolutely amazinggggg!! Great experience! Danny at the bar definitely memorable will be asking for him next time I go. Food was delicious we had steak, salmon, and the red snapper. For appetizers we had the sweet corn empanadas which was just perfect, their version of a bang bang shrimp and the fried calamari. Top 10 would recommend ! I had my bachelorette dinner here and he gave us an unmatched experience with great conversation!!! Give him a raise!!

Toro is adjacent and connected to the Le Meridien hotel. Group of 6 and we chose to eat in the tequila library room. Danny the mixologist took care of us for both food and drinks with exceptional service, suggestions and personality! All the traditional cocktails are made with tequila instead of whatever liquor would normally be used. For example an old fashioned was made with an anejo tequila that was aged in sherry barrels to get that sweetness and body that a bourbon would have. We tried an old fashioned, a mojito and a caipirinha all made with tequila. Amazing stuff. The swordfish dip and grilled octopus were amazing. The tuna tacos were ok as was the burrata. The lamb chop special, lobster mac and skirt steak were very good. The bone in NY strip was just ok as the meat was very chewy even though it was ordered medium rare and the temperature was perfect. The sides were very good and can be shared between 2 people. The truffle fries and brussel sprouts were the standouts. The dessert churros were exceptional and sweet, we could not taste the tres leches cake after the churros! Park in the Le Meridien hotel lot and get ticket endorsed by the restaurant for free exit. A great place for a date night!

Restaurant inside the Le Meridien Hotel. Divided into 2 rooms. Main restaurant bigger with more ambience than the smaller room which is the tequilita library and were we dine at. Our librarian was attentive and knowledgeable in all aspects of tequila recommendations. Food from starters to deserts is delicious (standing ovation for the chief). Only recommendation is library should have more ambience and music. Felt more like a cognac library rather than a tequila library. Though the word library should be paired with silence, the word Tequila is must certainly to be paired with music and party.

First time here but definitely not the last! Food was fresh, different, and delicious. Red snapper, sirloin, and mashed potato are recommended. Service was friendly and informative. Drinks are prepared based on your taste. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I recommended the tequila library for a more intimate experience.

I came here as im a tequila fan and drinker so when I heard about “the tequila library” I knew I needed to come. Definitely and experience! I went for a premium tasting as I know the type I like and Well o Well all 3 options the presented me were unknown to me but ended being VERY good options. I tried another one after…. Sooo after my first visit I tried 4 new tequilas to my palate. The food was Veeeery good! The swordfish dip, the octopus, the short rib tacos, everything we ordered was amazing. If you are late in FLL and want very good food go for it. It wont disappoint you. I will go back soon for more tasting of new tequilas. Salud!

The restaurant is located within the Le Meridien Hotel and hosted mostly guests from the hotel. The tequila bar is an eye catcher and the staff is very attentive and professional. While their grilled octopus was out of this world and tasted so good, I found the meat okay. It might have been the seasoning, however I would definitely come back here.

Hands down one of my favorite spots for happy hour! Doesn’t matter what we order it’s always fresh and amazing (however the octopus is my fav!). Richard the GM is super attentive, James the chef is a GEM and MC the bartender whips up the most refreshing cucumber martini’s ever!! Great food, great people, great music!! If I could give it 10 stars I would !

Just as it was advertised and more!We were delighted with the food and drinks. We were expecting just another usual Thanksgiving menu, but it was innovative cuisine and exquisite fusion of flavors that couldn’t go wrong. The menu was loaded and we devoured everything in an effort to leave no doubts of the excellence of the food. The staff was attentive and great. They even shared with us the idea of turning our experience for a Thanksgiving buffet style next year; I can already predict how booked and successful Toro is going to be. Surely you will indulge in every way when coming here.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. Beautiful atmosphere, really wish this place was getting more love than it is receiving. Not located in the hub of activity, but definitely needs to be highlighted in local media. But for now, a wonderful hidden gem in Dania Beach.

We had a great time! The food was delicious. The TORO guacamole is definitely a must! And my Lomo saltado was divine. Great chef! Want to make a special mention and thanks to Emily the manager. She really went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had no reservation and went with a toddler. She even get us one item out of the menu for him. That's real customer service. We appreciate her so much. Painkiller was great. Beautiful presentation!
