Istanbul Turkish restaurant is located in the Mlimani city premises. It is a very nice place for Turkish cuisine. They provide Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and dinner. They have a variety of options for coffee. It is easily accessible and very spacious. When we visited, most of the seats were occupied. The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it creates a very positive atmosphere. We can pay through mobile money or Cash payment options are also available. They provide free Wi-Fi service. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Cakes and pastries are the specialties of the restaurant. The waiting time is not more and the staff is also very cooperative. We will get paid parking. Kids can also enjoy the place. We can enjoy the restaurant followed by shopping. We can spend 3-4 hours in the Mall.

A good place to chill and meet with friends

Pathetic service, waited over 30 minutes for our beverages (ice coffee & mocktail) Food was served cold after 50 minutes of waiting followed by another 20 minutes for the bill which I then actually got myself, without recipe. Flip guys that was with distance the worst experience I ever had.

We had 2 little boys with us and the staff were very patient with them. The menu was very varied which was great. The building tastefully furnished with lovely gardens.

Poor Customer service, they took almost 20 minutes to come and take our order, the food quality is good, some food items are a bit pricey. They need to improve their services to attract more customers.

Absolutely dreadful! Was really craving some baklava and headed over to their outlet at Mlimani with the entire family. Calling the abomination they served, baklava, would be the biggest insult to the dessert. To top it off, they charge 15k for this disgusting mess. I also tried their hummus as it takes exceptional skills to mess up hummus. But, they didn’t disappoint me here either. They somehow managed to mess that up too. I don’t think I’ll ever come back to this place.

Best place to waste your time and money

I really wanted a coffee before shopping and I saw this Turkish place so I decided to try it out. They created a really beautiful garden, everything is green and it seems like a little oasis in the middle of the city. Nice seating and decorations. The staff is super friendly. I absolutely loved the coffee and the fresh juice! What a gem! Will definitely return here on my next visit to the mall!

2nd time to eat here over a 6 month period. My wife and I like the quiet outdoor atmosphere with comfortable seating. The food is tasty, with good portions and priced right. The staff is not very friendly, but not a big deal to me.

Terrible food and service. ☹☹ It took the waitress 30 min to come take my order, they have the worst customer service. I ordered a kofta wrap $7 and it was full of potatoes, the wrap tasted as starch. It only had 4 pieces of meat in it, they are too stingy to add more. It was bad. Don't waste your money, try other restaurants at mlimani city mall, this Istanbul thing is a disaster.

It's a nice place with affordable prices but quite noisy sometimes. Food portions are small to medium size. It serves alright for a quick meal and group sittings. The outdoor space is also good and features live music performances on evenings

Ambience is good but service is mediocre, waiters took too long to notice our presence. Capucino wasn’t to my liking. Iced tea was great Portion mishkaki was average, Grilled beef meatball kofte did not leave to my expectations.

Well I love this place. Always a good place to drop by for a quick meeting or private conversation with a friend. I love the banana smoothie and as well the famous wraps. The waitress are attentive to detail and always make it a point to reserve any valuable possession I might forget there. Ooops!! before I forget I love the indoor version of the restaurant. Works well for me.

I find the place decent.. do not sell alcohol, very suitable for discussing deals, and occassional work outside the office (that is, if you do not mind a little background music). Food/drinks a bit expensive by local standards. Two parts exist, the indoor (air-conditioned) and the outdoor.

First time and last time. I'll never go back. I felt like I was totally ripped off after eating here. One pays the same 9,000 for hummus at Epi D'or but one gets ten times more food there. If you want Turkish food, Anadolu restaurant at Slipway is a thousand times better than this place and I'm not even a big fan of Anadolu.

We weren’t pleased by the service you provided We were supposed to have dinner at your restaurant yesterday evening but after one of your waitresses took our oder we had to wait for a whole hour while we witnessed other customers who came after us get served first mind you there weren’t many customers and then only to be served what we didn’t oder. We had to leave without having our dinner. Although they told us there was miscommunication among the waitresses i feel like it’s not fair that that had to affect us . We felt neglected and our time was wasted we had a toddler that needed to be fed early but couldn’t because we didn’t get our diner on time and to only end up not having diner at all. Do better

No season at all on the chicken, the chips were not crisp enough, the wrap was saggy and the topings were not seasoned at all, and the chicken instead of being grilled it was stewed, horrible experience for me

Over charge bill , be aware to check your bill , is a shame when I discover them and ask to talk with the owner they send me a supervisor to deal with this infamous issue . very low quality from beginning to end , place to stay away

The worst customer services I’ve ever seen in any place , waiters/waitresses don’t give a damn about customers, it took 30 minutes for them to take the order we had to call them several times for them to come take our orders , for the owner you need to reduce the number of workers per shift , they keep talking to each other and roaming around and not notice costumers , Ts a lot of them for nothing … the food was average , the atmosphere was superb

Everything was poor. Too many staff but no one to come and listen. The table was too dirty. Samosas were burnt, the tea wasn't tasteful and all took too much time to land on the table. They'll need to change their way of serving customers.

There's nothing fast about this Istanbul Turkish "fast food," as they call it, and almost nothing good about this place, in general. The first thing i tried to order, I was told it would require 25 minutes. The second and third choices? . . . . I was told 15. I settled on my fourth choice, of which I was told 10 minutes. When it arrived almost 20 minutes later, it was cold. At the end of the meal the waiter took my plates and so could see that i was completely finished but would not ask about or bring the check until i notified her. She unnecessarily asked if i was paying by card when that was already obvious because i was holding it out in front her. She walked away, said nothing, and left me holding it. A few minutes later a Turkish guy came and she handed him the card. He was working on that with the machine for more than ten minutes, AND I AM NOT EVEN LYING OR JOKING. Nobody, including the turkish guy, said a word to me about what was happening. Finally, a manager, who had long since disappeared before my food arrived, came to me, gave me a very weak apology, and handed me the card and receipt in a flippant way. This experience was actually not a lot worse than it normally is here. This will probably be my last time here. The servers are lazy; passive-aggressive; talk low so you cannot understand them; are not willing to answer questions directly with a yes or no; and then ask you about things that most people would find obvious. Lastly, I have been to the city of Istanbul three times, also through other regions of Turkey, and the flavour of this food is very weak compared to most restaurants in "Istanbul," as they call it. I am even told by the manager that the owner is from Istanbul. What is he really trying to do here, especially for these high prices? Food from other countries is limited in Tanzania, but I get much better tasting food at Indian restaurants in town center, Dar Es Salaam for less than half the price of this Istanbul restaurant. Shame on this place!

Good location

This was so nostalgic. I always went to Turkish restaurants when I was in North America. The challenge in Geneva was language. But the food was awesome! I will visit again and again while in Geneva. Conveniently situated within the shopping area. Watch out though, Geneva is incredibly expensive!

Pretty good food, if a bit overpriced. I'm not sure how authentic it is, since I've had Turkish friends which made food somewhat different than this. It's generally fast, and the fresh juices were good. Not a standout restaurant but a good option considering what else the mall has to offer.

The worst service experience ever!! We waited for someone to bring us a menu for 10mins, then they didn’t take order at all. We decided to walk to the counter to place our order for takeout, one server referred to her colleague to take our order who also walked away with a bill to another table, completely ignored us 😠. Sadly, we will definitely not recommend for the restaurant!
