Simple place with great food and great value for money!!. A regular spot for my family. When we have fussy guests or very tired my whole family unanimously says let's go to Sohail!!!. Their staff are very attentive and if you are a regular they even remember your requirements. They have a good selection on the menu for everyone. My personal favourite is chat patta chicken (picture below) and crispy chicken! Their portions are great and it's a child friendly place.. not to be missed is their chai after a great meal!!!! A must try and a must comeback!!!! Ps if you are new and aren't sure what to order ask for the proprietor who is ever so helpful and incase you have an issue bring it up with him and he will always make an effort to make amends while you are still there

Standard downtown BBQ restaurant, with a slightly more diverse menu. They have great service, very fast. But it's often quite busy. Rarely will you actually miss a place to sit though. I recommend any of their paneer dishes, chicken biryani and lemon chicken are incredible too. Their menu is being updated so sometimes not all the items are available

The food was delicious.. portion is outstanding. Affordable.. busy on weekends.. the manager is friendly and staffs are welcoming.

Being their regular customer ; Don't order food if you want delivery just go dine in . They are disappointing . Ordered prawns dry brought me with gravy not the first time but everytime .one time they brought food after 3 hours . Ridiculous !!! Will not recommend anymore

This spot is fantastic for BBQ, Chinese, and Indian cuisine, and the prices are also reasonable . Ordering over the phone is quick and hassle-free—ideal for takeout!(they deliver as well)their must-try dishes, including sweet gajjar, Al Aaqib special, Mishqaqi, malai boti, and chilli prawns. The staff is super friendly, making it a very nice place to try new all types of food

Charming eatery & bbq in the thick of Dar. I had my first meal in Dar es Salaam right here - its way better than typical hotel food. - Late night dining is great, the city comes alive. - Dine on the street side seating. - Amazing spicy chicken.

Enjoyed a late night barbeque at Al Aqib. Food took a while as it was being freshly prepared. Enjoyed the spicy fries and gajjar chicken.

Wow Soo lovely for having dinner with family or friends (loved ones)❤️ the food is way better Soo tasty 🤤 whish could be waking up from the place every day 🤪😋 I love the place amongst the recommendation area to enjoy with the view of the city and the breeze 🌀 all the way from the ocean 🌊. In short the place is sweet, sweet customer service, sweet food not to mention delicious,but not recommend for younger children due to the road near it.

Excellent local Swahili and Indian food, best fries in town, very good ratio quality/price. The staff is proactive and serves you swiftly. I came back every night so much I loved their BBQ chicken and cheese nans. Special thanks to Hassan the waiter who did the job more than perfect. Don’t miss it.

I am visiting Dar. After long time I find good food of my taste. For taste 9 out of 10. Cleanliness to be improved. Service to be improved. For takeaway, I ordered something and found something else when I opened at room.

It used to be our go to place for take out.. but recent encounters havent been that good… today was so disappointing Order was supposed to be ready in 25 mins we had to wait a further 1/2 hour. 5 out of 7 items ordered came so dry it was difficult to chew, choma chicken had a bad smell to it.. called back to speak to the person who took our order but she didnt seem to understand whos fault it was..

Busy with good customer service. Eat in our get takeout. Now serving every day.

we ordered sekelas, the food was good but they should work more on their customer service. we had requested the delivery to be done within half an hour and we were less than 500 mtrs away, but it took them an hour and more to deliver just bbq chicken.

Worst Did not get good experience tod Delivery after 2 and half hour and that is it not my order which I paid 15k And paneer not fresh I don't prefere anyone to dinne here or order take away

We ordered Home delivery, it took almost an hour plus the order was wrong. And when we called them the lady at the counter is telling us that we will keep it for you in your next order . Very poor customer service. Pls change the lady who receives calls for takeaway and put someone who is professional in their work and can get a simple order correct.
