Just got out of the IST clinic, barely. The night nurse on the evening of 26 May 2018 locked the door as I was trying to carry my friend to the bajaj to take her to a clinic where she could get an x-ray because no doctors were in here. The nurse demanded we give her $20 before she would open the door leaving my friend to stand on her broken leg as we sorted out the payment. She even had the audacity to pull out a calculator and demand an extra 5,000 because of the exchange rate.

180$ for a covid test !!!they should do better , no proper sitting area no proper paying system. It’s a rip off to me. They should really up their game . My conclusion better go somewhere else. 5/2/2021 was not a good experience.

It is a money making clinic. I called ahead to check the price of a malaria test and have been told it is $ 12. But after the test the nurse advises me that the cost will be $ 40 because it is a holiday. She knew it was a holiday when I called one hour earlier, why was I not told then? Also there is nothing mentioned on their website about a surcharge during holidays.

This place is very expensive comparing to other hospitals at Dar Es Salaam but my covid-19 test result came in less than 48 hours. The Hungarian doctor who took a sample from my nose was very carefull and caring. In my opinion it was worth these 180USD I had to pay for a test. The staff was also very helpfull.

Scandalous, dont go there for covid test, we didn't have results on time and missed our flight. 160 dollars, and no results. It is a shame.

Malaria? No problem. Diarrhea? Forget about it. Blood tests, meds, and all the other stuff to get you back on your feet and healthy. Amazing staff and service. Keep it up, IST!

The place is ok but the service charge they have is simply ridiculous, you can tell it’s more of a business kinda exchange cause $50 dollars is a little much. $50 was for the Covid-19 test which is fine but on top they charge another 50$ for proving the service, not everyone can afford that. Definitely not coming back here next time. The two stars is for getting my results on time.

I was quite impressed with the service. I was in abs out of the centre in 30 mins where they gladly assisted me with the registration as I do not face a local number, as well as the actual test. As their SLA is 48 hours, I was pleasantly impressed with their results that came in 33hrs.

Don’t go here for COVID tests. Extremely disorganized registration and payment process. Accounts department as incompetent as it gets. And overpriced at 180$.

Received wonderful care for my son here when we were struck by food poisoning. They have a nurse on duty 24 hours a day.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I am so grateful for their help. I came in with an allergic reaction and they treated me right away. My symptoms quickly disappeared. The doctor wrote a letter for follow up with the doctor in my home country. Everything was clearly explained. Treated with love and respect. Asante sana, Dr. Nellensteijn and the nurse team!

Longest covid testing in the History of covid tests

If you so unlucky to go there ask full price-list and procedures they planned with you Otherwise you will be extremely surprised.

Compelte unablebto do the simplest task. We had a PCR Test done on Friday and needed it on Sunday. No PCR result because they were to lazy to look it up if it is proceeded in laboratory. We were told it never arrived after a lot of effort. Two Hours before our flight they suprisingly found our samples. In the end we got no result, shame on them! 0 Stars if possible.
