👍👍 Big/little kid large playgrounds on one side. Very nice ADA playground on the other with sand. Walking paths, basketball courts, tennis courts, and lots of open green space. Bathroom in building in center but is sometimes locked and port-o-pottys throughout. People often mention park, kids, love,

Nice park overall good location since it’s next to many places. My favorite part of this park is when they host the Darien hoedown a fall event that happens every year it’s great for the little ones and it’s very fun.

Great walking, Vet Memorial, plenty of playground space, ball fields, green expanse, right across from Indian Prairie Library

We love the park. It's actually 2 parks. A smaller park with concrete and rubber flooring perfect for kids under 5 and the larger park for kids over 5 is pretty good too

Very nice park for young childrrn and families. I go there to watch my granddaughter play traveling softball. Nice field for the players and bleachers for spectators. They even have trees for sitting in the shade.

Pretty cool park, just don't use the restrooms, no paper and they're disgusting

Safest park ive seen so far for a kid under 2 absolutely love this park. For a moother of 3 toddlers under 4 i loved that i didnt have to constantly follow them around the park. And if u drive about 2 mins ull reach a park thats for older kids

This park is great, it has a smaller area for toddlers and a big kid area. And a big plus for me is they have a port a potty right here. When you have kids who have little bladder it’s very convenient to have that near.

Very cute and clean and colorful. The playground has swings, sandbox, stone gravel area, slides and benches. Area is a bit pain to find if one drives due to bad steet marking and one way direction. The parking lot close and the playground is fenced.

Perfect place for me to take my daily half hour walk, while my wife is at the spa. Two laps equal 1.2 miles.

Beautiful park, our family enjoys coming here very often! We love living right down the street! Also, absolutely love the "new" park addition over by the vet clinic side, definitely wish they would plant some trees or something for some sort of 'shade ' because I hate being blinded by the sun. Also, would love it they would add some sort of seating also. (Talking about the new park for the little ones) But other then that, absolutely LOVE Darien park!! Beautiful, fun place to take my son to play!

Very nice park. Has basketball courts, volleyball, tennis courts and baseball fields. Along with 2 playgrounds one on each side of the park. Nice biking and running trail too.

This is a great place for kids 5 and under. This park offer a pretty good variety for families. A little way down is an area for older kids, plus have a walking trail for those who enjoy a stroll. Also have benches and pergola for hanging out. The other little gem the library is a cross the street.. Fall is around the corner take a stroll or two and enjoy the surrounding.

Always fun, but a strange man with tattoos across his upper body and neck strangely stands shirtless at the end of his driveway watching all that goes down at the park throughout the day. Since moving here, I’ve experienced odd things and people in Darien, I’ll say that much

If your wondering where to take your little ones, I highly recommend coming here. There is two parks, one park is gated and 8 different activities some are pretend play. There's a lemonade stand, music stand, theater stand, firefighter stand, a big sand box with digging tools, a big spin toy, and a pirate ship connected to the playground. You can definitely take your young kiddos ages from 18months - 7 years old. One down side is that there is no swings for the babies. There's a picnic table with a huge umbrella for shade. The other park is for bigger kids, and it's on the other side. We didn't have the chance to go to that one, but we will be definitely going again.

It's a nice and clean park. Lots of different things to play on, with a lot of swings! There are two sections of the park, one for little kids, and one for big kids (the best explanation I could come up with 🤣). Most, if not all of the time, there is also a porta-potty for quick bathroom access, though there is also a bathroom building nearby as well.
