A market that is very neatly arranged and clean. Since it is a tourist spot, everything costs a little high. The price of tea in particular has disappointed me a little. Everything else is fine. Seller are polite. Everyone is helpful enough. There is lots of hotel and restaurant near by the market side.

Don't confuse this place to be any shopping centre or Mall but this is a business hub & market place of Darjeeling & the place is known as MALL rather. The place can be said as the Heart of Darjeeling❤️ Never seen any hill station places as busy & vibrant & as lively as this one here in Darjeeling.

This is the most important center of attraction in Darjeeling. The shops and the most important restaurants are located in or around this place. It is an open place surrounded by hotels. The mall contains many small eateries and souvenir shops. it in newly constructed and gives good view of the surrounding hills and mountains. This is a great place of hanging out throughout the day and the evenings are brightened with a large screen that shows visual presentations. There is also place for live programs. Smoking and drinking are strictly restricted in this area.

This was the first time I went to the hills. More than a decade ago, had seen a dream about small hill town with a hill top central location where the locals just hang out in a small and cozy space, just the way they show in some of those dreamy Bollywood movies. And that's what I found this place to be. A place where local and tourists hang out, play music, do some fun activity, sit around the amphitheater, small stores selling souvenirs, tea stores, road side snack etc. Stayed in Darjeeling for 4 days and visited the Mall every evening. And yes, I guess you must go there at least once in evening. The place is neat and clean and locals follow the rules and discipline so no one rides bikes/scooters etc. I hope it remains this way giving the tourists memories to cherish.

The Chowrasta or the Mall is the heart of Darjeeling🫶. town. Located on top of Nehru Road, this is a flat open promenade where tourists and locals come to lounge in the sun, take a seat on one of the many ,benches scattered along the periphery, have a cup of tea and watch the wonderful views of the mountains and valleys all around .🍵⛰️🙌. I have been there to purchase shoe but unfortunately there is very few branded shoe outlets. But there is a shop on ground floor "Golden tips tea". Where you can take a sip of authentic Darjeeling tea.

Wonderful place. Every time I visit this place, I discover it newly. You can do shopping, or just see so many activities around you just by sitting on a chair with a cup of Darjeeling Tea. Kids can enjoy horse riding, then can play here safely as vehicles are not allowed here. I like each and every corner of this place.

Place needs no introduction. An evergreen attraction for young and old, with some old world charm and modern amenities, too. Early mornings are the best, except maybe June-September, with a view of Kanchenjunga close by, and chill fresh morning breeze.

It was a relaxed experience. Walk through the little lanes, quaint book stores, see Kanchenjunga in the morning hours, visit the Tibetan stores, some street shopping down the lane to the left of the open theatre.. the shops with jackets and coats I felt was expensive 2-3k as their initial quote. The street food and street shopping was nice… locals are very warm and always with a smile 😊

This place has maintained old world charm with some of the shops still retaining it's heritage appearance. Though it gets very crowded on a weekend & should be avoided especially on long weekends & holidays. There are restaurants around which serve variety of food & road side stalls served freshly cooked fast food. Though their quality is questionable. Must visit Glenary's which is at one end of the Mall road (near Ramada)

Restaurants, shops, hotels everything is present there so eat good food 😋 and buy nice things 😁 and click great photos. Morning and evening is the best suitable time to visit. One thing I just want mention that about the street foods. I heard from many that the street foods are good but I strongly oppose it, they us a lot food colour into it , taste is ok or not good type, and prices are normal according expected in hill region. So better you must try tea or coffee there and momos also.

A good place to just roam around, sit and relax or go on a shopping spree. You can also get a ride on horses. And enjoy Darjeeling tea. No vehicle is allowed within Mall area so it's peaceful. The crowd is less during day time but as soon as the sun starts to set, the crowd increases as well as the number of shops increases and also stress food stalls.

The Darjeeling authority, there are some horses rides here for that a bad smells surround the place. Hope the authority will step action for this thing. Fantastic views of nature, lots of street food and winter clothes found in cheap price. Cloudy air is most beautiful thing surrounded all over the place. Night time lots of people enjoy with program organised by local people's. We also join them. But mall market was too much crowded. And must bargain before buy any product.

Darjeeling mall is the center of the Darjeeling City. This is the most popular place in darjeeling. Most of the time tourist gather here. No transport is allowed here. So you have to walk to reach here. You will find lots of shops around here. But price of hotel is very high in this area.

okay place at best, simply put - overhyped. couldn't find why people wait for hours in queue outside in freezing cold to have dinner, there are tens of better places in stone throw distance... tables were dirty, no social distancing, an hour wait at least for ordered foods, had to ask 3times for a bottle of water and the list goes on.... its okay folks, you can visit darjeeling and not take pictures of eating at this place and still be alive!!!

Glenarys. I can make better food, bread, pastries, cakes and brownies. They don't use vanilla essence in any baked goods. Hence it all tastes gross. They don't use butter in their croissants so it's hard. They do have a good bread so I guess they figured out yeast.
