It is a nice place. The BBQ all you can eat on the first Friday of the month is nice. Burger a big and look good. Just the waiters could have a bit more attention to the guest.

Cozy spot, even outside. Staff is very friendly and the food is good. We only came for afternoon tea and the cakes were delicious and the coffee was fine. I'd love to come back when the weather is nicer so I can sit outside!

Food: was good. We had a "Handkäse mit Musik" which was delicious and a Tanus Salad. They do serve local beer on tap from the city (Oberursel) Service: Friendly and quick Kids: There is a small climbing (boulder) wall where kids can have fun. A shelve inside with toys and board games.

Delicious food, good service and always clean. I especially love their seasonal soups! Great place to go after hiking in the forest....dogs are welcome :)

This has to be one of the best restaurants for food I've ever been to. Flew over from England on business and work colleague recommended eating here. Food was rich and delicious. Service was good. Beer was fantastic! I dream of going back one day if I fly back over.

The terrace is nice and the service was fast. I can't give it a very good mark because I didn't try food - maybe next time. I'll come back to improve this mark

Best Grüne Sosse in the FFM area. Perfect refreshment after a long hike. Fast and considerate service.

If you want to experience local German restaurant, this is the place. Food is awesome as well.

Food is good but… I go there only because it’s close to my daughters school. Waiters can be there unkind. Once I was trying to figure out with my friend who will pay this time for a lunch and lady was very inpatient. Even though it was in the middle of the day and restaurant was almost empty. My friend asked me, why this lady is so unkind and I had no idea. Then I was waiting with my girls 30 minutes to has been served. It was beautiful weather outside and a lot of people around so I was patiently waiting with hungry children. As it getting late I make an order and asked for option to go. Waiter said they cannot prepare food to go because it was to many people. Does it make sense? We just went…About today’s welcome sentence, which I heard in Das Waldtraut I will even not write.

Fantastic! Awesome setting, and the food is highlighted but the freshly prepared ingredients. An added bonus is the natural science display upstairs.

Can only agree with other reviews: nice location - lots of space even when busy. Food was basic but pretty decent. The disappointing aspect was the friendly but terribly slow/disorganised service (a little irritating too given that customers are told they only have 2 hours to eat up and leave!).
