We
booked
to
avoid
the
queue
which
was
well
worth
it,
we
were
seated
and
our
server,
Courtney
was
soon
at
our
table
to
take
our
order.
The
restaurant
was
cold
and
most
customers
had
their
coats
still
on.
All
three
of
us
ordered
breakfast
meals
and
hot
drinks.
Drinks
came
quickly
and
were
well
made
and
hot.
Food
came
shortly
after
and
this
is
where
the
problems
arose,
two
of
the
three
meals
were
only
lukewarm
at
best.
I
caught
the
attention
of
Courtney
and
informed
her
that
our
meals
were
lukewarm,
Courtney
informed
us
that
she
would
have
to
inform
the
manager.
A
few
minutes
later
the
manager
came
to
the
table,
we
explained
that
the
meals
were
lukewarm
and
he
informed
us
that
the
food
is
held
in
containers
in
the
kitchen
and
with
the
cold
restaurant
that
was
the
reason
behind
the
temperature
of
my
meal,
he
did
not
want
to
change
the
meal
and
seemed
to
believe
that
his
reason
was
valid,
I
disputed
this
and
eventually
he
agreed
to
exchange
my
meal.
My
wife
however
was
not
offered
an
exchange
as
the
manager
insisted
that
as
she
had
poached
eggs
on
avocado
then
it
would
be
warm
and
not
hot,
even
when
we
pointed
out
the
eggs
were
warm
and
came
from
the
kitchen
warm.
No
exchange
was
offered.
On
paying
Courtney
apologised
profusely
for
the
temperature
of
our
meals,
it
was
obvious
to
us
that
this
was
a
common
occurrence
and
that
the
servers
had
no
authority
to
exchange
meals
and
everything
had
to
go
through
the
management.
Courtney
was
an
excellent
server
and
acted
professionally
and
politely
throughout
our
meal,
it’s
a
shame
the
same
could
not
be
said
for
the
manager.
We
will
not
return
to
Bills
and
as
a
suggestion
you
should
turn
on
the
heating
in
your
restaurant
and
not
use
it
as
an
excuse
for
serving
substandard
meals.
Service
from
Courtney
was
5
star,
service
from
the
manager
was
1
star
at
best.
