Arrows on the trees made this hike a little easier. It's so pretty in these woods. I loved it!

Nicely maintained trails, not terribly crowded during the week. Most visitors have good dog trail etiquette, and more on leash than not. Trails clearly marked, varying terrain. Small kids? I wouldn't. Wear appropriate footwear, bug spray, and enjoy.

This was a wonderful hike! Great scenery and a very easy but lengthy trail - great for a brisk walk, jog, mountain bike ride, or even just a casual 2-hour hike. I hiked a total of 6.7 miles here, plenty long enough for a good workout! I'd also like to point out that the trails were very clean and well-maintained considering the amount of people that seem to hike here. Good on the people for leaving no trace, and good on the DNRT folks who maintain the trails as they have gone above and beyond here.

Always an awesome time here! Many trails about 1.6miles each. Doggies can be off leash but beware of horses, bikes and other dogs that may not like dogs.

Destruction Brook has some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the area. Not a wetland, most routes are dry with some occasional mud. You'll see massive glacial boulders, vernal pools, gorgeous Pine stands, Sassafras, and Holly, with Teaberry and Princess Pine undergrowth. There are multiple trail options to tailor short and medium hikes without backtracking, up to 3-4 miles.

I love Destruction Brook, great casual place to hike or bike. However the lesser used trails are in need of some tlc, and there are little to no real trail markers..so it's easy to turn down a wrong trail.
