This place is always fully booked, so we booked a table for four a week in advance. We got quite a few dishes, but the only ones worth getting are the Kotthu Roti Chicken and Godamba Roti. Overall, our meal was very pricey ($48 per person), considering the quantity and quality of food; we were not full. Each cherry tomato literally costed $1 for the tomato salad! Slow service due to high diner count. Worth a try but never again.

Met at entrance with beautiful smell of incense. A perfect greeting to a great evening. Service was prompt and friendly. Drinks and food served in a very professional manner. The meals were incredible and the desert was to die for!

WOW!! Started my wife's birthday weekend on a great note at Ella. Started with a quick cocktail while eating our amazing roast pumpkin starter. The pork bely main was a hit (as always)! Great waitstaff and fast service from the kitchen. Can't wait for the next one!

Had recieved a voucher for here, while on holiday.And we were looking forward to the experience. The place inside is dark but cosy. Staff were friendly and the menu was explained well. Drinks were a couple of cocktails each, they were all incredible. O9 We decided on a couple of small plates to start. Barramundi and ribs, both very nice. For mains we shared the goat curry and pork belly with rice on the side.Both had wonderful flavous and we did not leave anything on the plate. We ended by sharing the pannacotta, which was also nice. Amazing meal! The pumpkin was so crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked with a curry sauce that matched perfectly. Spiced potatoes; barramundi; oh the fried peppers! Plus the best roti- both crisp in places and soft in others. Really cannot fault our evening. Only wished we lived in Darwin so we could eat here regularly.

Simply awesome! Great service, atmosphere and food. The entree lamb was total deliciousness! Colour changing cocktails that were a tropical delight and was enjoying my food to much to take pics. My dining partner highly recommended their goat curry and next time I want to try the cauliflower dish.

Such tasty food. A fantastic addition to the Darwin food scene, if you’re in town you can’t miss it! Only slight downside was that the main courses weren’t served as hot as we would have liked. It was easy to get over though b cause the flavours were amazing! Highly recommend

Visiting Darwin for the first time, we met some fellow travellers who had been here and highly recommended it to us. I could not have been more impressed. The presentation of each dish was enticing and the flavours were just amazing. Our waiter was really friendly and efficient and the location is kind of funky, and bit reminiscent of Melbourne laneway vibe. So many great options, I only wish I'd been able to sample more of the food. For reference we had crispy pumpkin starter, chicken curry and sticky pork belly mains with rice and one shared (large) roti.

Excellent flavour combination, nothing overpowering and able to taste a lot of flavors. Jackfruit curry was very nice. Goat was all meat. Roti had a crunch. Date lived the wine.

Walk in with availability to sit at the bar to dine. Also available to wait for your booked table. Quick on the cocktails Entree came out in a timely fashion - Whitebait: lightly deep-fried and dusted with spice salt Eggplant was in a creamy coconut sauce topped with a crunchy texture. A generous serve of roti which definitely could be shared between two. One of the best I've had here in the Territory. Will be back again soon with friends to share the experiences

Excellent service and a nice range of flavors. The cauliflower dish was world-class. The other dishes are all great to excellent. Cocktails lovely, the atmosphere is very good. I highly recommend this, I don't know Darwin and was not expecting this quality experience.

Absolutely delicious!!! Fabulous service by Maria who was so lovely and helpful, nothing was too hard, I even got in trouble for topping up my own wine 🤣 Lovely atmosphere, we sat outside which was beautiful, inside might be noisy but not sure. Even though we arent seafood lovers we had the cured snapper because of the rave reviews and I'm glad we did, I could drink that sauce, it was so yum! We also got the cutlis balls and OMG YUM! Then for mains, goat curry, pork belly and dahl with the roti. It was all delicious, probably our least fav was the dahl because it was a little sweet but still good. Perfect amount of food for 2, we didn't finish it all bit glad we tried it all. We want to go back with a bigger group so you can get more dishes. It's wasn't cheap but well worth the money for the service and fine food.

Ella by Minoli was a dinner recommendation from a colleague who saw Ella on Masterchef (or MKR). The food was incredible and it certainly helped coming with people familiar with the menu. The staff were very upbeat and gave us the best service of any place we ate while in Darwin. ⭐️5! Funny story, we walked past the restaurant the night prior to dining and said 'it's pretty expensive' RIGHT as Minoli walked past me 😅 After eating, UP THE PRICE!!!

My wife Ros was so impressed with Minoli's cooking on masterchef we had too visit & try there food while in Darwin only open Wednesday- Saturday so book in quick, as she is popular chef!! Food,was amazing, well done too her chefs& staff we enjoyed it all ,great flavours & spices cheers hope you can get in & try it👍👏

Amazing food, absolutely lovely staff! I’ve been here twice now (only opened in early June) and I will come back again and again! So much flavour in every dish. The cocktails are fantastic too!!!

The best restaurant in Darwin. It was our last night in Darwin and we loved the food so much that we regretted not booking more meals to enjoy all the dishes. Anyway must go restaurant in Darwin. Must order dishes are grilled prawn, cured snapper and chicken Maryland curry. The kiwi fruit signature dish was lovely and refreshing. And the dessert was the best brownie ever in Australia!!
