Clean efficient and smily service. Centrally located to Darwin, large Carpark. Close to park to enjoy take away. Dishes are substantial, affordable and delicious.... for budget oriented diners.

Quality and quantity! The food was delicious and fair pricing for the amount I had received! Worth going for a good Asian style feed! The flavour of the food had a party with my taste buds! Recommended to go! Great customer service!

Love that Uncle Sam's is open 24/7, the food was always fresh when I visited, the only thing I could suggest is that someone would keep and eye on wiping down tables and sweeping up under the tables when customers left. Giving a 5 star still though because the Roast Pork was always FIRE

Not very ideal but still a good succulent meal for hours of operations i.e late night. Would go their instead of mcdonalds drive thru but not during normal operating hours

Uncle Sams has various food from Chinese food, Chips, Salad, Burger/Sandwich, Cake, Fry Food, Tea/Coffee and all of the foods is always fresh. The food is delicious and they have excellent service. Uncle Sams open for 24 hours.

only bad point about this place is the accessibility. but they make up for it with the awesome fried pork belly. servings are generous as well

Been 25 years since I was in Darwin and could not believe Uncle Sam's was still there , yes it's had a few upgrades since I was last here , but OMG the food is still amazing and the staff were great too , if it's a late night and you need food , head to Uncle Sam's in Darwin City 😀😃

They have none food option left since mostly all the food is going to the special container. Although they pack it as discounted food and leave it aside (not even inside the hot bar), they sell it as a regular price which normally I can get 3 meat option in my dish. I ask the guy with short curly hair if they have more food coming out, and he say no more in a very not happy way. Understand that they try to sell the leftovers food first but it is unacceptable to sell it normal price. I end up getting the special container with 3/4 rice and 1/4 one meat option. It costs $16.50 for a small container. And yeah the food is not hot enough, it is cold and rice is dry since they don’t put it inside the hot bar. Next time if you want to sell it as normal price just don’t pack it to give people option to choose the food they want.

Affordable dinner takeaway shop. approx. $18.50 for 3 choice (rice/vege chow mien with 2 choice) I chose Braise pork belly and black bean beef. All yummy. you can grab it and dine in for a quick stop over. I think the portions are alright. Liked a little spicy kicking from the black bean beef, braised pork belly was nice and hearty. I took the photo after having the meal, but the portions they gave me were slightly over the top of the container. Please refer to other photos displayed and shared by others for this shop. Thanks to generous serving staff & Uncle Sam. The shop was more spacious than I thought for a takeaway shop. Many locals seem to come and grab them also. Will be an affordable feast for two+ ppl if ordering two+takaway boxes (no rice with 3 options) for each various menu - and ready your own rice or carb as these menu meant to be sides for rice/noodle. Affordable price in Darwin for day/night, Generous portion, nice taste for these menu. Sitting tables. I would recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable takeaway shop around this location.

Open 24 hours a a great mix of Bain Marie dinner takeaway or eat in options, always fresh, reasonably priced with jammed in servings. Usually a heaps of helpful staff

Probably my favourite steamed dimsims in the Darwin area. They also do an awesome toasted BLT.

Most expensive stir fry on the earth. Average food but one and only option for Asian food at odd hours. Toilets are not in use which is not acceptable specially at night time.

$18.50 for a large container, only gave me a 1/4th of meat and the rest was noodles. Not impressed since it states on the counter 1/3 noodles and the rest meats. Portion size is small for the price paid.

Best feed in the city 24hrs try the braised pork belly yum yum get the egg.

We dropped in after a movie, my wife was little disappointed that we’re no vegetarian option s in the take away except one noodle dish. However the fruit salad was outstanding. Very good value
