A year ago, there was good, friendly and efficient service. Fresh, tasty food. Great choice of vegetarian and meat options. Unfortunately, this year when we visited Yoggi Bear Restaurant, we had to wait for a wine platter and a bottle of Prosecco for more than 30 min, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Waitrose kept forgetting to come back to our table. Moreover, the wine platter was served with rotten raspberries and blueberries. By mentioning this to the waitress, I got a response, “We received those berries today, but anyway, we will give you a discount”, giving a discount of 1 Euro. (?!) It is disappointing how in one year, such a great place is terribly and sadly operating.

Only 4 tables were occupied, but the waitress was no in rush to bring QR code for menu (about 8min), then after 15min waiting to order we went to ask her to come. Kids were very hungry... we ordered, and the cacao and water took another 15min to come. The food... Okey only tortilla pizza was tasty, but it shouldnt be on kids menu, because kids dont eat olive pesto sauses, any greens on top. It should be on snack menu. Chicken nuggets were fine. Grilled Chicken breast was quite okey but nothing special. But pork ribs were DISSASTER! How they dare to bring spoiled ribs all black under (covered not to see at first!). So in general 41 eur was not worth the lunch of family. Go to another place

Food is great and of decent quality, but pick another place is you are hungry or limited in time. Went here for a breakfast, picked from breakfast menu, went for a lunch with a special lunch offer, been for dinner in the evening. Every time the experience is the same. How long do you think it takes to cook an omelette? About 55 minutes. A business lunch? 50 minutes, so you barely can have your food in an hour. Dinner? You guessed right, about an hour+ So if you got just an hour or are hungry and want your food ASAP, avoid paying a visit to this place.

Good and quick service. Kids menu is good, but for my children there was not enough pelmeni. My choice was tasty and looks very good. It was one of best places in town for me.

We were there on Saturday afternoon. The place was empty so the service was fast, but not all employees knew English so we had to order twice. They didn't have one of the items from the menu, so we had 2 beef burgers and chicken from the children's menu. Burgers were very poor quality (look like a processed meat patty), although they had a lot of toppings the taste was poor, chicken meal was good. Also the door was always open in November, so it was cold inside

Writing this comment as my review on one of the Instagram posts for this restaurant was deleted TWICE. We visited this restaurant on 8 July 2023. I have heard a lot of good reviews about the restaurant and decided to check it out. Unfortunately the image from the Instagram is far from reality. Food was very average, not like in the Instagram pictures. Most second course dishes served with ketchup 😳🤣 We ordered two sharing platters for starter, antpasti and wine platter for two. One came quick, but the second one took about 30 min or so. Waitress forgot to bring the plates for each guest to eat their starter, so we had to pick starters from the main plate with our hands... She only brought the plates when the 2nd platter came. Also, the starters on the platters did not have the same ingredients as the menu. There were no grapes, no sundried tomatoes, strawberry jam instead of fruit chutney 😳... Whiskey was served in warm glasses just out of the dishwasher 🤣 They advertise Moet champagne on Instagram, but ran out of Prosecco after three glasses... When we asked for a sharp knife for the steak, the waitress could not understand what it was. She said they only have table knives. All of this time the service was very slow. When I came to the bar, as noone would attend to us, the waitresses were hanging on the bar stand chatting.... Nice 🤦‍♀️ All of this horrific service came at a huge price of EUR 174, which is sufficient for a small town in Latvia. Don't go there. Spend your money somewhere else!

Good food, nothing complain. The dark beer was very weird. Taste was first very sweet and then very dark. Orders was made with cellphone and then have to show the phone to the waitress hmmmm... what's the point? The restaurant was clean and everything was in order....., but the damn tecno music or what ever pump zika pump paa.... Not my plase.

The food was quite tasty but you can only pay in cash! We did not receive any prior warning so after the dinner we had to go to the ATM and get back to settle the bill. What a hassle. The place was completely empty on a Saturday night.

Business Lunch very good, service very fast Starter Solyanka or pumpkin soup Main Asian Cauliflower, White Fish or Pork. €5.50 for starter and main, great value. Decor modern and fresh, English Russian and Latvian menus available. Air Conditioning and outdoor seating too.

Came here to grab a quick bite and oh boy were we disappointed! I had the poke bowl with salmon and it tasted like fish food, I shall list the ingredients in order of most edible: Cucumbers- tasted like cucumbers, bravo! Wakame- tasted like it had been sitting around for quite a bit, still edible though, Salmon was like goo, definitely left under some sofa for a few weeks before serving. Rest of the veggies were from a can and tasted that way. Wife had the burger, said the fries taste like they had been thawed out and then frozen again. Very mushy and a weird taste. The burger itself was pretty cold and the veggies were not room temperature cold, but freezer cold.

A modern stylish cafe with excelent food in the heart of Daugavpils. Well, my Russian is very rusty, but they tried a lot to help us out with their rusty English. Google translate translated us the menus (one for Asian, one for European meals). We had the soup with pork and the duck. Both meals were excellent. Plus a Latte we paid 13,90€. I would definitely recommend visiting Yoggi Bear!!

Super great experience! I’ve been here twice, once for business lunch and once for dinner. Really great service and really tasty food! Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of the chef! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, not friendly working stuff. On menu described meal which is not match to real meal. Very expensive for this service.

One of the best places to eat in Daugavpils. The food is constantly good quality, contemporary enough, without the 20th century Eastern European post - Soviet smell. Poached eggs for breakfast are delicious! Can get a bit loud.
