This is usually our first stop when we are in Bali and you can see a lot of people from the same flight doing so here. This is also one of the few places that you can order grilled pig skin separately for extra enjoyment. Everything is good when you put it together. You can also order Bali-only red rice to go with this dish. Red rice is said to be healthier like brow rice and bit chewy and sticky. The soup is flavorful. The chili is spicy. The meat and the skin is full of spices that will keep you going again and again. It is just so good. I know there are many other places that provide the same thing. But nowhere else is like this place, especially you can order the most popular pig skin on its own. That is definitely a plus. I am also glad this place is not on the list of best one, it has only one here and it is really good. We found this one from locals and we have been coming here for years. Others seem to be busier and smaller portion. And not as generous as this one as a whole package. After that, have a glass of coconut water, it will be a perfect ending. We love this one.

Affordable, big portion, and tasty babi guling. I expected long queue and a lot of waiting, but the service was good so I was served quickly although the place was crowded. I recommend ordering extra pork skin.

One of my personal faves of babi guling in Bali. The portion was huge for the price of 50K. We also ordered extra skins and pork satays. This place is located near from their main branch which is under renovation due to fire earlier. They have limited parking spot inside the premises.

Tried their bigul pisah. All was good,. The pork crackling was good. Satay also good. The bigul itself also good. And i love their sambal. Really kicking into your mouth. Spicy! But maybe they can improve their sambal to ripped off the stem of their chili. Overall, okay to eat here. But maybe just use motorcycle to come here, because their location is in small alley.

Okay let me review it one by one: 1st the place, This restaurant quite spacious. 2nd the food. Quite delicious. 3rd the price. affordable.

The food was amazing! Worth of the price, 1 of the best babi guling we ever had, the place was pretty hot and crowded in afternoon, we ordered paket special babi guling + sate babi, the pork soup is tasty and sate babi worth the trip

Location is in Denpasar area but they have opened a branch in Sunset Road recently. Portion was quite generous, especially if you order the special. You can have the huge crispy pork skin instead of the small square ones but you have to order at least one day before. Price was a bit more expensive than other favorite local Babi Guling places but they have “Paket Hemat” with smaller portion and cheaper price. The babi guling here still has a bit of pork taste—not too strong but it’s there, but they use lots of spices which help in reducing the pork taste. The soup that comes with each Nasi Campur uses lots of spices too which also helps (I always ask for refill 😅).

Hidden gem, the place is located at Denpasar city. The food is nice, but the place is quite hard to reach, the road is only enough for 1 car If you stay on Kuta/Seminyak/Legian it might not be worth it to come here.

Chose to have delivery food because it was too late and we already exhausted. The waiter was so polite, informed me there's some ordered food was out of stock. It was such a comfort food and the price was reasonable.

Use to be one of legend babi guling, they move the location due fire, now located in very narrow streets , taste very good, maybe the service is poor, they don't care so much about customer,, price still reasonable, but there's a lot of place actually offer more quality and price,

as for the price nasi bigul (babi guling) chandra is in a fair price for me. i gave 4/5, cause i think you can also find another delicious bigul in Bali (with the same price as bigul chandra) ☺️

The place for authentic balinese's pork cuisine. Becarefull because i'ts very spicy, i suggest you to order double drink. Their speciality is pork pepes ( shredded pork mix with balinese"s spices in banana leaf)

Best babi guling in Denpasar. Big portions and everything is good. Very spicy, babi guling is tender and comes with everything. The skin is crispy too. Come early to have the specialty blood lawar and complete set of sides. Quick service and plenty of parking. Always stop here whenever we headed north or returning.

The road to reach this place its narrow. The food is not as good as i rememberred. Bigul chandra always been my favorit food that i had to eat if i go to bali. But this time is kind of lack of taste. Maybe is the kind of food that i"m picking.

My local friend telling me to try this one and we ended up loving this place. We order sate babi and its delicious, but we get a cold one. They didn't warm it in the oven or something before serve it to us. Its still delicious tho, and thankfully the meat still juicy and tender. I recommend you to try sate babi in this place. We come around 4pm and just a few guests here, the place not that crowded at this time.

They often offer discounts when ordering online. If you buy “nasi campur bungkus”, it’s only 20k. I dined there so the price was more expensive. Overall it’s really tasty, although not as tasty as the “wednesday” and “nusa dua” babi guling chain. Their lawar was tasty, the meat was juicy and tender, the crackling was also good, and if you order the complete set, it comes with a soup.

If you like spicy Babi Guling, according to my cousin, Chandra has the best sambal. And they got cats 😻😻 The Nasi Campur Ayam Nasional is good too.

Dont trust youtube/commercial. Expensive & got old tough pork skin we couldn't eat. They didn't care about complain, not friendly people. Location in small road, hard to get park. Will not come anymore.
