Still one of the best places to go on a food trip, even if you're on a budget, with your best buddies, family, loved ones! We suggest leaving your backpacks (if you're bringing one, you would be required to hold it in front of you which I guess, is too great of an experience). Best to keep your important stuffs in a small body bag. Wearing of jacket or overcoat can be done on a different place other than here. Besides, you'd really appreciate wearing light clothing especially as you stay longer here. Once you're in, it's all worth it! Food (grilled, desserts, you name it!) and beverage are cheap and satisfying. Eat till you drop, and then you can shop! Fashion finds, souvenirs, are on the haul. Be at ease with friendly police personnel guarding and guiding the locals and tourists alike.

Ideal place to take your pals on a gastronomic trip. You can eat, get a massage, and go shopping all at once at Roxas Night Market. Since the authorities are very strict, I recommend not wearing jackets or backpacks when visiting Roxas Night Market. After you've finished eating, you can take a walk  and try the open-air soothing massage for a reasonable charge. Alternatively, go on a shopping spree where you may buy trendy outfits, souvenirs, phone accessories, pieces of jewelry, ukay-ukay shoes, and clothes. Congratulation to all security officers for keeping the RNM safe and secure. SHOULD TRY: Danny's ice cream barbecues (tuna) Buchi ukay-ukay massage

Busy night market, with a decent amount of food to choose from. There are several different kinds of stalls that are repeated throughout the market, so not as much variety as we’ve seen from other night markets in the Philippines, but still worth a visit for ihaw ihaw, charcoal ice cream, kwek kwek etc. The security is tight though and there are no backpacks allowed inside whatsoever, so make sure to arrive with minimal belongings. Check out our channel for a full review of our experience: Hungry Two Travel.

Love the foods here. We tried Ate Nhor Halal Barbecue. The usual foods here are barbecue. There is a checkpoint as you enter the night market. I suggest as well that you shouldn't use a backpack when you go here because it's not allowed.

I love Davao City's Roxas Night Market! Many food choices, and really affordable. A good place to hangout with friends and co-workers, you get to experience what the city has to offer. Security is everywhere too so you need not worry about your safety. Need to go back here again!

When you go to Davao City and you are into food adventures, visiting Roxas Night Market is a must try. Lots of variety of food are waiting for you there. I think they are open every night until 5pm to 1am. There also are dry goods displayed in there like clothes, cellphone accessories and others. Massage therapist are also present to those who wants a quick massage.

Such a cool spot! Servers are very respectful. Can be quite overwhelming and sensory overload as there’s a lot of people close by and most servers are trying to get you to buy their food as well as smoke from the bbq sometimes clouds your vision. Good prices on all items. Very thankful for the security and police presence it makes you feel safe. They have almost anything you want for a reasonable price.

It was a very nice experience! I'd like to visit again. People there are honest because someone lost her purse but the person who found it returned it to the owner. I'm stunned! I can say Davao is great 🥰

Should have been 1 star only but the security personnel were very nice to my mom by letting her sit in a chair when she got exhausted. Other than that, the food choices were not great. Everyone was selling exactly the same thing. Would have been better had there been hot soup or noodles or other delicacies. The non-food items were mostly phone accessories with some souvenirs about Davao. No interesting clothes, bags nor shoes. It’s not very interesting at all. This place can be skipped if you’re a tourist with tight schedule.

Must go place when you are visiting davao! Take note: bringing of back packs or big bags are not allowed as well as wearing your jackets and sunglasses... they will prohibit you from entering the night market. The place has police roaming around so it is very safe here. You can have food trips (with unli rice!) And also, it is affordable. Triangle of activities here: 1. Food trip 2. Massage 3. Tiangge Budget of 500 per head would suffice for these 3 activities. Had a very enjoyable experience :)

I love this place, one of the destinations that you should put into your bucket list when you visit Davao. The street food is awesome, although most of them serve the same menu, but still a great experience. The best way to taste the local Davao delicacies at a very affordable prices. From grilled tuna belly, kinilaw, grilled calamares, to durian ice cream. I also liked the weird but delicious charcoal ice cream.

Timing that the pandemic has somehow subsided and this street market is now operating during my trip to Davao. One of the busiest street every evening. If you crave for street food, you should stop and visit this street since they have the variety of street food, you name it. Also, there are stalls that sells dry goods and electronics. Whenever you visit Davao, this is the closest resemblance of the Cebu's Colon Night Market. 🌃👍👌

No time during the day? Try something during the night u can dine here with many foodies to choose like the ihaw-ihaw, Buchi, and a lot more. Tired from work; there were section of "massage" also, cellphone accessories, Jeans, and a lot of stuff and items u can buy.

So many street foods. The place is so clean and the people are so friendly. There is a massage station, and the masseuse is so good. They are not just a typical masseuse; they are well-experienced.

Lots of things to buy.. from clothes to food. Street food was interesting but i wasn’t that adventurous to try, although some stalls were pretty decent. I only tried the ice cream and it was good!! Definitely a must try.

Yummy durian ice cream! I can only eat durian in this state, hehehe. Also lots of yummy street foods at very affordable prices. Try mochi or those round rice cakes with unique fillings like durian.

When you visit Roxas Night Market be sure not to bring backpacks and don't wear jackets or coats because authorities are very strict with the safety of everyone. It is absolutely not allowed inside roxas night market and even in close proximity to the area.

It's my First time since the pandemic, unfortunately few stalls are opened. We've undergone a full security check. They won't allow you if you're wearing a jacket/overcoat. You need to remove it before entering. Sometimes there will be huge lines so be early. Food was good & cheap. Chicken skin & fish balls are my fav. Our day ended with a mango, charcoal flavoured icecreams. Will visit again.

Roxas night market is very different from before. The place is now clean and organized. Entering the market you will need to submit yourself for security inspections. The food is good and delicious, you have a lot of selections from Seafood, Meat, Vegetables, and Desserts. I have a good experience, well recommended.

A pretty awesome experience for the uninitiated, a must do for tourists but not something that you enjoy doing more than once. The food stalls kinda sell the same things, but it is fresh and grilled for you right there on the spot. The prices are not bad and the service is pretty fast, bring smaller bills if you don't to wait around for change.

The heart and soul of Davao's night life! You can experience the most out of downtown Davao at this place. Plenty of authentic Filipino street food to eat, lots of bazaars with the cheapest wares that you can find in the city, and if you're tired, you can sit down and get a massage. Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to experience Davao in the quickest and easiest way possible. Note to Foreigners: It's can get a bit crowded!

The Roxas night market in 2022 is so clean and very safe. Friendly and safe to all tourist also the price of food there is so cheap that everyone can afford. Also the task force davao is very good on there job to give security to everyone. The salesman there is so friendly and honest. Roxas night market now is more spacious so you can roam around without touching other people's elbow.

Exciting night market in the center of Davao City. Really fun to bring visitors here. Food options is superb however majority of them are just selling the same stuff and food choices. Street food is amazingly delicious! Shopping is also good. Very secured area check point entry at every sections. And police and military around. Great way to spend the night with tourists!

  • 4/5 Eric Martinez P. 4 years ago on Google
A must visit when you come to Davao city. They sell really fresh food for grilling like meat and seafood. You can also get the popular charcoal ice cream here from different vendors. Prices are really cheap and it can get crowded as everybody goes here. You can also see a lot of masseuse offering their services right on the street with lounge chairs. Area is now cordoned off and police check your bags before you can enter as there was a terrorist attach here sometime ago where several people were killed. So expect to see some military around the area along with tanks.

Very visible security everywhere. Has a wide variety of things to buy. From local pasalubong, street food, desserts, new and second-hand items to massage services.. I'd recommend trying their pineapple from the local vendors, it's really sweet. ? ate ice cream twice from Rose Ice Cream. I prefer it better. You really get the flavor of what you ordered. Was sad with Mang Danny's Ice Cream, I ordered Strawberry Ice Cream, but did not taste like Strawberry at all. I only tasted Durian in it.

The Roxas Night Market has been a victim of the pandemic. Prices and food have become uniform as if a monopoly dictated how much it is to be sold. Less variety of food can be found and it has been plagued by the younger generation wanting a grasp of social media posts. Gone are the days of cheap food and dynamic evenings of devouring adventure. Do rather go to other local night markets and experience what the Roxas Night Market used to be.

I almost ate my pocket money out! The roxas night market sure is a must go place in DAVAO. There are so many food to choose from from common to native delicacies. There are also police in every corner making you feel secure. Aside from food there are also massage area and boutiques and other merchandise that will surely capture your eyes.

Food is cheap. Unlimited rice is only 30php, mango tapioca large is only 30php, and the food is yummy! The place is packed with orderly including police, army and etc which made me SUPER SAFE! Should’ve been a 5 star, but you have to walk super far from the parking and you cannot use the entrance as an exit which makes it more far from our car. Mi legs is killing me! 😂

  • 4/5 Mark M. 4 years ago on Google
The night market is generally safe for visitors. The place has lots of foods to choose from, and their fruit shakes are the best. Food prices are very affordable. I have also tried their famous charcoal ice cream. It tasted like the usual sorbetes, but dark grayish in color.

  • 5/5 Michelle C. 9 months ago on Google
Great place to get a variety of food. Grilled tuna for dinner with flavoured buchi for dessert were our favourites. We also got durian ice cream and some juicy pomelo.

We arrived late in the night and were told that the night market closes at 11pm. Also backpacks are not allowed inside. I was allowed after bag check because it was my first time to visit and I'm not a Davao resident. So many food stalls and clothing stalls. There was also a massage area. Fun to go around. We ended up at a Durian stall and had our craving satisfied. We had 5 varieties and they were all good! It was a good experience

A famous avenue where food stalls, ukay stalls and stores of clothes and shoes are being installed. This is the place where you can buy foods like Pastil, Barbecues, juices, Ice creams with unique flavor " Black Charcoal" and etc. This place are the go-to of employees and workers, students, and groups of friends who want to hangout and eat together.

  • 5/5 JayJay B. 4 years ago on Google
The place is very secured since there are a lot of policemen and armies. Therefore, nobody is allowed to enter wearing a cap, jacket, and bringing of bagpack. Also, the foods are delicious and very affordable. Expect that this place is full of street foods. As a result, you will be encountering many people and of course the ambiance is not like what we experienced when we enter foodchains. All in all, it's very satisfying! ☺

The Roxas Night Market in Davao City is highly recommended. With a wide variety of food stalls and vendors, visitors can indulge in delicious local dishes such as grilled seafood, street barbecue, and durian desserts. The market is known for its vibrant atmosphere, with live music performances and a bustling crowd. It is also a great place to shop for affordable clothes, accessories, and souvenirs. Overall, the Roxas Night Market offers a fantastic experience for both locals and tourists alike.

A large market with a wide selection of food and drinks. If you order food, you can enjoy it at a table. The food isn't expensive, and they offer various combinations, especially if you want to try something new and unique to your country. You're in the right place. A bit further, there is also a clothing market and other items. They can even offer you a massage! I definitely recommend visiting this place, eat well for a good price, and you'll surely take away a great experience

It's too crowded. The food is delicious but the serving of rice is very little, it's like half rice.

  • 4/5 Eva 4 years ago on Google
A great place to spend an evening with family and friends enjoying barbeque and some seafood. The vendors will start to setup their booth late afternoon so you come here for dinner. The place is more secure now, as the government is putting up more security personnel to inspect belongings. there is no place where one can put his or her own backpack though, so don’t bring one when you come here. Don’t forget to try their desserts especially the black ice cream, one of the best sellers in the area. Some people would come here just for the black ice cream.

There were a lot of people at that even after a rain. I and my partner tried for the first time the open-area massage from a masseur and masseuse. Their service was affordable but couldn't be that convenient for a client like me to avail a whole body massage considering it's an open area.

At first I was somewhat skeptical because of the cleanliness of the area and that some vendors would reuse the plate of someone else and just recover it with a plastic bag to serve others (note coming from California and this is obviously not a norm to do this in the US, hence healthcode violation) but putting that aside all the food was amazing. Even drinks were really cheap. I would recommend this place to foodies and those traveling through the Philippines.

The Roxas Night Market was very interesting for the tourists and also for the local people there's more clothes bags gadgets foods in low price and the health center often inspect the foods to know if it's clean or not and there are swat police and tanks the security is very secured also no back packs are allowed just shoulder bag. The fruit shakes are really fresh I like the Durian thick shake if you come here in davao you must try it.

If you looking for a definite fun food trip, this is the place to go. It has stalls of newly cooked street food. The potatoes I had were worth 34 php, but it was a bowl full and just newly fried from the wok. A sightseeing and tummy-filling venue.

On a budget? Head to Roxas Night Market for grilled seafood dinner! For about 165php, got to taste the big squid, rice and two sticks of pork bbq. Add a small bottle of cola too! :) If you walk until the end, you'll see that stalls sell other stuff too like clothes, shoes, toys, gadgets and bags. Note: do not bring a backpack otherwise they won't let you in!
