The food, service and the place were all awesome.

We haven't really tried the restaurant but we had free breakfast from here through their hotel. And just by the free breakfast we had, I can say that this restaurant is probably worth every penny you'll spend. The photos are probably off the menu. You might also want to consider trying their hotel so you can try these.

The building is beautiful. There is a wonderful table on the second floor balcony which was the only one so it was is private. I have read other reviews about this restaurant and they all seem to complain about the price which totally misses the point, because life is not about the price it’s about quality and the meal was the best steak I have ever had and I have dined everywhere from London to Paris to New York. It was tender, beautifully seasoned and presented and served with a smile. Does anyone who is anyone worry about price when you get this quality. My Philosophy is the best or nothing and this was the best. Thanks Bondi and Bourke Davao for a wonderful dining experience. Richard x

Update 2 weeks later: Now we had (with the help of some friends) a big part of their menu: Everything is great, the Bondi & Bourke is one of the top Restaurants of Davao. One thing to improve: They have only one single open wine for a "per glas" serving, a Muscat. This detail should urgently to be repaired. Still some of the best Restaurants in Davao. We visit before in 2017, and it was very very good. Someone told us they lower down, so we ignore it for a long time... big mistake! The Bondi & Bourke is still very very good, very friendly staff, a great menu so everyone can find something tasty, and... very good food! We chose some different types of Chicken... Chicken Shawarma, Chicken on a stick and more... look at the pictures. The Food was as good as the pictures! Not cheap, but really good place to stay. We will be back very soon.

My husband and I had lunch here. The place was cool and elegant. The food tastes great as well. We love it. Would love to go back here with the family.

It is the first restaurant I visited in Davao. It is a lovely and cozy place. And at least it's an alternative to local food. But the cost-quality ratio is not good. In other words, it is costly for the quality it offers. It has lamb shonck highly recommended. The others are nothing special—very few dishes to choose from. Cooks are seen working without masks, even the owner.

The food is good. Do I want to eat here again after the experience? Nah... I maybe will go back because of the fried cauliflower because it is truly delicious, but the rest of its food? Maybe for once. It is not due to its price but it does not match our expectations.

I had a great dining experience here. The steak was absolutely delicious. Their staff are fantastic. the ambience is very classy.

Great breakfast, perfectly poached eggs, tasted like a great Cafe in Bourke St Melbourne, not Davao City, Philippines. Mango juice seemed to get lost on the way to the table, but when it made it, fresh and delicious. Only thing that is missed here for a great Australian Cafe, is espresso coffee, but I'm sure as things improve with tourism, it will come. Overall, excellent experience and I'll be back!

Got to taste their Grilled Artisan Sausages, Braused Lamb Shank and Bourke Salad. All were great tasting and the serving were generous enough! A must try for everyone who’s looking for quality resto and cozy ambience. The personnel were also great and pay attentively to the needs of their costumers.

I highly recommend Bondi&Bourke Davao for special family celebrations. We celebrated my mom's 67th birthday there, and the food was fantastic. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion.

Service was sweet and cute. Food was absolutely amazing! Great looking! Hot! Flavorful!! Hacienda vibe. I'm going to be a regular when I'm in town.

Overall food was superb, from salad to Steaks everything was Yummy! A little disappointed on the Cheesecake though... Tried their breakfast, big serving and thier sausage is super yummy. 👌 Should have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the cheesecake.

Awesome dining experience. The seafood risotto was spot on. The rib eye steak was cooked to the right doneness- couldve been perfect with a tad more salt and compound butter. The seafood carbonara was creamy and you can surely taste the truffle oil. Okay ill def come back!

Definitely would recommend everyone to give this place a try, it a great place for casual dining with friends, and the indoor seating has a cosy feel to it. Went there twice during a recent trip to Davao, and the food and service were great. Prices are higher than what you would find in the malls, but the quality of the dishes make it worth the while. Didn't give this place the 5th star mainly because my boyfriend's coffee tasted burnt. Other than that, everything else was great!

Lots of people say it's pricey, however the food is good.. great service.. meal for 1 was $70 US which is on par with US prices.. I will go back when I return to Davao.. my only complaint was the AC was blowing on my table which made my food cool faster than normal..

Same management as Bramble and serves the Bramble favorite brunch menu. Excellent service and great food! I do recommend the grilled sausage plate!

If you want to make katkat #soshalclimbs without breaking your wallet haha then this is the place to be. Old historical house turned into a fancy resto that’s not creepy and not overrated (unlike the other one we know of! 😂). The price especially for the steak was really commendable plus the service..great ambience, great service.. Now I understand why Pierre in Emily in Paris series find crackling creme brulee so therapeutic! The creme brulee is my winner for the set meal and just so heavenly. Although the cheese in their cheese platter is just so-so. Not so varied choices, as compared to La Fermette for instance. The bread is a bit tough too. They have a parking space and their brekfast place, Bramble is also another haven goodness in the same compound.

Mid-well steak & risotto were 👌. The kids ❤ the chicken. Seafood Best soup was good. The best thing tonight though is the privacy, our guests, and the wonderful memory celebrating my kid's 15th with her favorite people.

I actually visited this place 2 times. 1st time we had outdoor seating - tables were not ready or cleaned, super filthy although we had reservations outside for the day. It was my birthday and we had the appointment in advance - we also messaged the day of to remind them. We went back regardless because I like to give chances and I'm quite understanding. We went there for a 2nd time on Christmas Eve - table was clean thankfully. We asked the waiter to give us a couple of minutes while we looked a the menu to choose the items, however, the waiter completely forgot about us and didn't even come outside for a good 20 minutes. Luckily, one of the staff members walked to the back and noticed us waiting and asked us if we are waiting for the food, we notified him that we haven't even ordered. Then our waiter came - didn't even apologize. I asked him to make a mango shake without ice, he was super confused. Most places in the Philippines have made me a mango shake with no ice - he said this was not possible... we ordered the Ribeye which was 5k. The steak was the worst steak I've eaten in my life - it looked nothing like the other people posted here. There was no sear - it tasted like it was boiled on the outside and medium rare in the inside. My guess is that it has been defrosted several times and slowly boiled to reach the right temperature - there was no seasoning, no flavor and super chewy and bland. I can cook a better steak in my kitchen... there needs to be some seasoning, or a flavored butter, or basted in garlic and spices... It was also lukewarm, not even hot. literally blandest steak - memorable for the worst steak I've tasted. It's not even worth 10gbp. The shrimp chorizo was delicious - way better than the steak. However, the waitress took our plate although we haven't even finished and there was still food and sauce on the plate. The customer service here is subpar especially for the price. If you are used to any Western standard this is far from that..... super disappointing! Re-train the waiters and staff.

Fish n chips ; fish unedible due to being too oily. Fish was tough (possibly was microwaved). Tartar sause no taste whatsoever. Burger was bloody inside after originally requesting it to be well done. Also tasteless. Bun was soggy on top and bottom. Took fish home for my 3 dogs to eat and they also refused it. Its a shame as the restaurant has a potentially nice ambiance if it wasn't for the inattentive and staff showing attitude from the onset.

FANCY! If you're up for a fancy evening - even without dressing fancy - this is the place for you! THE FOOD IS HEAVENLY! Truly deserve a top rating in various travel sites and blogs. Their Seafood Chowder is the bomb! So creamy and filling. We had to order two mango shakes because one is not enough. The spinach bacon fondue was to die for! The best truffle prawn carbonara I had in my life! I'm lost of food adjectives to describe this place. Totally a must-visit. Caution though to budget conscious folks, prices are not budget-friendly. Better try Lachi's if you have tight budget if you're looking for delicious yet affordable local food.

My first time back in Davao for almost 18 months and we decided to return to our favourite Davaoeño restaurant.... the Bondi & Bourke. After hearing about their steaks through friends & deliberating over the menu we ordered the US Prime Rib to share. Without a doubt the best steak I have ever eaten - cooked to perfection, well presented and with a service beyond reproach. Highly recommended!

Its my nth time dining here. Meals are definitely thumbs up especially the chicken, pasta with shrimps in truffle oil, lapu2 with potatoes. Service is fantastic too.

Food is good qualifty but very expensive. I expected more with the price my host paid. The truffle past does not have an inch of truffle flavor at all. BBQ ribs has very rich taste
