If you're looking for a reasonable buffet in Ecoland. I highly recommend the Tong Yang buffet, one of the nicest buffets at SM Ecoland Davao City. I've been here a A couple of times and I'm still impressed. There is a vast range of food to choose from. Grilling marinated with a variety of seasonings. Shushi, shabu-shabu. Liquor, soda, and juices are examples of different beverages. They also serve a variety of desserts. For the assistance. The entire team is incredibly hands-on and accommodating.

Came home for a 3-week vacation and decoded to meet my college friends here. Apparently, this is a popular place for get-together and dining with family and friends. I can see the novelty of cooking your own food in a public setting, but I honestly was not very crazy about it. I always cook at home 😁 The pre-cooked food were delicious though - they always run out of tempura 😋 Not so much variety on the dessert, but overall, good food. Service was awesome, staff was attentive to our needs and provided us with everything we needed. The room is definitely conducive for chatting with friends - I think we stayed there for 3 hours +

Food: Shabu-Shabu lots of ingredients to choose from from the balls that have different appearance from the color shapes and taste. With vegetables and spices a must have! Unique to all buffet restaurant!!! Grill: Different kinds of meats.. beef and pork strips cut chicken and fish, with different marinations with a twist!!! We had Very nice Asian buffet dining experience at Tong Yang In SM City Davao. There are a lot choices from appetizers all the way down to desserts and it was worth it. The seafood, beef and pork meats for grilling as well as the cakes and the cucumber juice were excellent. We were enthusiastically served by Jason Endrina and Steven and they were very nice and accommodating. Great job guys! 👏

We have been here for a couple of times and its a good choice for people is big eater. They have varieties of food to choose from. I realy love their Maki and sushi line. The ambiance is also welcoming and plenty of space. They also have promos for birthdays (3+1) Bid group promos and alao promos for those who completed their Vaccine which is on time.. Over all experience we enjoyed the food and the fun

So many variety of food to choose from you have to be really hungry to sample everything. Worth the Php512 per person buffet lunch. Friendly and courteous wait staff.

Great buffet. This was our first experience table-side cooking. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and culinary possibilities with the extreme variety seasonings and food choices. And if you aren’t up for self prep, the precooked options are just as amazing.

Service was “meh”. The cooks were more helpful than the servers. I am giving 3 stars for the broth and thinly sliced meat which was not bad. If you just want to waste money 700 pesos sure, but i’d rather go somewhere else if you dont want to

One of the famous buffet restaurants in Davao City. Located in the ground floor of SM Ecoland. There is a lot of options for food. We enjoyed cooking our own soup on our table.. We just had a little difficulty in asking assistance in turning on/off the stove since staff were limited. But once someone is available, they were all very accommodating.

It's our first time here and I love their food. I also like their griller, no need to use vaccum like we see in a samgyupsal place. However, cockroaches are everywhere.🥺 First, my friend's American husband saw it in their glasses, so we didn't use their glasses from the start, we bought bottled water from a store nearby. Then while we're eating, I saw a cockroach on our table.😳 We decided to leave right away without finishing all the food we got.

I was passing by in the mall and noticed there were lot of Filipino inside, the design inside is nice, the tables has heating range embedded which is giving a nice ambience, I thought the food is incredibly tasty, so I brought my family to have a dinner, we kept waiting for 5 minutes until I asked one of the waitress she mentioned it’s buffet, I can’t tell when started taste the food how much was seriously was yackkkk, food not tasty at all, not clean and not hygiene the preparation and the smell, juices tastes like chemicals, and at the end the bill came for two adults 1300 peso !!!!!! That’s a 30 dollar in a country like Philippines for just two persons with such incredibly low quality not tasty unclean food, the value was awful ! But I noticed that all Filipino and filipina taking pictures there with the background and the nice frying smoke over their range in their tables, then I understood that all these people are only there because of eticket and image because majority of filipina they give high review and go to places just to show off and not because of the quality of food and value

Only few dish you can choose. After the end of session you smell like the food you cook i think no exhaust fan. Food is good overall still few dish.

Sumptuous food. The place is a bit small and a bit crowded especially when peak hours.

Something special, but that's all. Very very noisy. Bad (none) ventilation makes you smell like fresh from the fryer. Pork"meat" is mostly fat; a lot of pieces are pure fat. Beef is, like a lot of the buffet, only rare and slow/less refilled. We like the visit, because it is really something special. But we will -most sure- not repeat. Ceiling, Lights & Aircon look like they are not cleaned or maintained for years.

Ample dining space, friendly and attentive staff, WIDE array of fresh food choices for grilling or hotpot (shabu-shabu), ood selection of cooked foods. Funny and jolly celebratory singing by the staff!! Happy tummy !! Happy heart !!

Beef quality has improved tremendously since the last time I ate here. I finally enjoyed hotpot and it was fantastic. Customer service also improved. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I'll be sure to visit again with my family before traveling back to Metro Manila.

Food kept running out and very slow to replenish. Staff were very rude… the worst customer service I’ve experienced in Davao. First and last time… none of our group would ever come back to this place. Spend your money somewhere that appreciate you.

No organization at all here, got on list to have a table, had to wait till exactly 11:00 am but just as he started calling names to enter, the guy starts taking new names for tables and stops already listed people from entering. Once we finally got to our table it was crazy with people shoving, cutting in, trying to get to the various food items. They quickly ran out of popular items and chefs were sooo slow to replenish, some items never did replenish while we were there, very few condiments in small bowls never replaced with more. The food that we did finally get was very average at best and mostly not tasty. 1437 pesos for 2 of us was definitely not worth it! My first and last time to go to this restaurant!
