This is not the most beautiful place in Samal but if you grow up in the Island this old pier used to be the center of transportation of Samal folks to get to Davao. When the bus and ferry came the life of Samal folks changed and they totally abandoned it. I capture in drone becoz this place were happy childhood memories.

They have a lot of shows there and venues. 5 years ago we went to the Samal park. They had a bubble pit. Yes, bubbles everywhere. They have beauty contest. Miss Samal. The department of tourism is the best there. They know how to get the people out for the venues. If you get a chance go to one of the Samal park venues, you will not be disappointed.

The place was awesome and I love the view. Come on weekdays for you to enjoy.

The park was very accomodating in terms of recreational. This park was also home for street foods which I enjoyed when I visit the Samal Island.

Very cool and nice place! especially to nature lover

We went at night for the Bamboo concert. Sound and light great. Camera man - a sad story. He never even focused once on any guitar solo. Organisation was just so so. You need to give up your pen with the security just to buy glass bottles and bbq sticks inside. Questionable security choices. 🤔

Nice esp. The samalenyu area, but roads still are an issue. If you're for nature and tranquil place.. you can count on the far beaches. .. Very good for laagan.

I didn't have the nice experience in the last trip I had but samal is good place to cool off .. just make sure to choose a nice resort bar to start to..
