The fee for renting lifevest and snorkeling gear is Php200 each when we visited. They have gopro (hero 9 or older version) for rent for Php750. The tour guide will be the one taking the shots (photos and videos). At the end of the tour, the memory card used will be surrendered to the guest. The shots are honestly not that good. A latest camera version is needed. (The photos included are some shots taken using their camera) A detailed orientation and discussion will be given at the start of the tour. The tour guide during the snorkeling is very accommodating and helpful to the guests. The water is not very clear, but it is still okay for viewing the clams, some spiecies of fish, some corals, and starfish. There's something biting our hands and legs during our dive at the clams area. But overall, it is still a good experience.

Area was pretty good. It's nice to see they got the protection they deserve. I just notice some don't listen to what the instructor is saying. Some try to touch it, which is dangerous. Worth the money and sweat. They also yelp you get pictures with the giant clams. Price is ok for the time you are given with. Just know how to dive and you'll get great pictures and experience.

We paid ₱1,200 for our bangka service and another 120 pesos per person for the sanctuary entrance IT WAS SO WORTH IT and incomparable! I’ve never seen that much Giant Clams in my life, their diversity was what amazed me. There were about 5+ different Giant Clams species there. Definitely recommend visiting here when you visit Samal Island, Davao

Had I known that we will be able to see giant clams of different species ---- we should have bought a cheap underwater camera! Oh well! Thank you to the organizations and school that helps in maintaining this wonderful place. You are the hope of the future generations. I wish I knew how to swim so I get the chance to come closer to the clams. Pay 200php for entrance and gears. There is a guide who will assist you even help you with snorkeling around the area of clams.

Worth visiting. Be amazed by the Giant clams underwater that have been cultured to preserve the species. Tour guide is very good and briefs visitors before swimming in the area. Definitely a must visit area. Warning to those travelling by car as there are not much signs to guide thru the area. Asking around would be best. Also recommend to bring underwater camera for memories although they have go pros for rent but you will have to provide your own sd card

Its safe even if you dont know how to swim. Wearing life jacket is a requirement. An assigned professional diver will let you hold on to lifesaver then he'll pull it round and round and you will see the taklobos below. Its so beautiful below but i dont know how to dive so i just watch it above. The only thing i didnt like was the tour should last 1hr but when I checked our video, it was only 20mins. Its because i wanted to stay longer hehe

They deserve credit for trying to raise awareness and educating visitors about giant clams. I hope they get more funding so they can upgrade their equipment.

Amazing place Amazing giant clams! It's an amazing experience to see alot of them!!! These clams are way way bigger than in Cebu! Though we were forced to pay extra for "snorkles" even though we have snorkles on our own... sad.

You can fully trust the guide in snorkeling especially when you're not that good in swimming. Just don't panic when you swim because there's nothing to worry about and you might annoy the other tourists trying to enjoy the underwater view. With GoPro, the guide will take pictures and videos of you worth posting in your social media accounts 😉

If ur into clams with different species then u would love this one. Youll see heaps of clams with different sizes. The only downside is they wont let u wear your fins. Some guide will let u wear a vest and drag u around in the floater.

It was quite an experience to see and discover that these endangered species are being protected. Before diving, they give you a brief orientation. To see these giant clams is amazing. Water is so clear and makes you appreciate the nature and what the ocean can offer. Quite an impressive tour. I'm glad I did it.

👍👍 If you wanna splurge on your Samal experience, then this place is for you. Their crusoe cabins are up to about PHP 16k a night. Includes lunch, dinner, and breakfast (since check-ins are at 3 PM).
