Great food .and drinks, my American husband and our friends like it.

Simple place but delicious food, sausages are delicious, best i had so far in Davao.

Had the 'pepper fillet' steak. Was cooked a perfect medium rare, served in an incredible pepper gravy. Fried potatoes with bacon and onions complimented the steak perfectly. 10/10 any day of the week!

We like the fact that the place isn’t infested with locals and “jejemonic tribes”, it makes the place feel more secure, clean and sophisticated. And since they are scared to speak English, let alone German, it’s a good deterrent from the local idiots.

Owners Hans and Grace are wonderfully kind people. We had roast beef (most tender and flavorful I have eaten in the Philippines)w/mashed potatoes (which were equally delicious)also we ate Cordon blue chicken w/mixed vegetables which was very good. Thank you both

Best Place for german Beer, Bread, Food & Talk / Bester Platz für Deutsches Bier, Brot, Essen & Gespräche. I think it is even a better Spot for making contacts than the swiss deli... but still the swiss has more european products to offer.

Hans is a crazy guy, but food is excelebt and he has a lot of german beer :) what you need more

My friend took me to this wonderful restaurant last week and I found they were offering a Thanksgiving dinner for whoever wanted one with a RSVP. We reserved our spot and went there last night for one of the best Thanksgiving meals I’ve ever had! The staff very friendly and helpful! I recommend everyone try this place and you won’t be disappointed! Food and drink prices are great! Thanks again for the wonderful time last night!

I am not gonna lie, out of all my reviews so far this one is a review on an establishment of a very close friend and so there may be some unintended level of bias... having said that I cannot deny the amount of fun we have had here. The people are absolutely amazing and the food is just insane, you simply cannot come across more authentic German cuisine with real German beer in all of Asia and this is truly a spectacle for Davao!

I lived in Germany for 9 years. It was the best German food I have had in years. We went on a Monday for my birthday and we had the place to ourselves. Lots of choices when it comes to beer and cocktail also.

Very good and authentic german food. And the owner is very welcoming.

Had the German meatballs and it came with the best gravy I have ever had. It was phenomenal, whoever made it deserves a statue in their honor. The pumpkin soup I had was way spicier than expected but still good enough that I finished the bowl. Huge selection of alcohol to choose from as well. Service leaves something to be desired. Food was very slow coming out and when we received the receipt the staff charged us for the wrong items two times. Nonetheless I think it’s worth coming back. If the rest of the food menu is as good as the meatballs I simply must try them.

I have recently discovered the German Deli and what a first meal. I ordered the Robzilla and I will now work my way through the menu and visit the deli for the breads and meats. Worth the money for sure.

It was a quite night.. If busier sure atmosphere would be much better... Worth a visit.. Beer was very nice

It's inside the Skyline Village. Residential area. There are other restos in the area, more visible from the road. German Deli is not that visible. There's a signage that says that's it but the place from the outside is... uncoventional. High concrete walls. Gray steel gate. But the owner is very welcoming. It's good he was there just the time we arrived. When we entered the gate, there's just a wooden wall painted white. I was like, woah where are we? But the owner said, the place looks so much better at the other side of the wall. And indeed it was. Sorry no photo but it's posted by other visitors. The place is cozy. Now i get the idea why it's called a man "cave". It's a hidden gem. The food is great. I ordered Jagerschnitzel (breaded porkchop) with mashed potato. My friends ordered the pot roast. I was quite jealous of them because the pot roast looked delicious. And they said the meat was very soft. They also have a wide range of international beer brands. I dont drink but its nice to look at. Thos who are avid beef drinkers should try it out here.

There’s a light at the end of a dark road. Pizza here is great tasting! There’s beer too from all over the world. Accepts dine in take out or delivery.

Actually I observed it is more like a private gathering space for aliens, like me ;) Food is European style. I didn't try their bread yet, they told me it's the best from Davao. But needs to be ordered in advance.

Ordered bread from them a few months back. I was looking for the best sourdough in the city and I've tried so many places. I was so excited and had high hopes when I discovered the place because it's a friggin German deli! I ordered the sourdough and the farmer's rye. The farmer's rye was just okay (and I really like rye breads). But the sourdough didn't live up to expectations. I wanted to like it because they're relatively close to where I live! Maybe I ordered the wrong breads or maybe it wasn't just a good baking day. But almost half the crust of the sourdough was burnt and it wasn't as soft as I prefer it to be. No crunchy exterior and the taste was just meh so it really put me off from them ordering again. They do respond fast to inquiries on facebook and they accept contactless payment via gcash for take outs. Their website is also nice because all their stuff are listed there so it's easy to order.

Delicious food and many nice sorts of beer and other drinks available. Their bread is the best of whole Mindanao but order always 2 days before pick up!
