Those of you who wrote 5 star reviews lost all credibility with me. This is hands down the worst meal ive had in Panama. The meat was actually bad. On top of that it was cooked to a jerky consistency. Service was very slow given only 5 tables were occupied. My first and last meal here. Highly don't recommend. The potatoes were edible.....

Almost no vegetarian options, prices comparatively high for the quality of food you get. I had the pasta, tomato sauce didn't exactly remind one of real tomatoes. Atmosphere/interior is nice though.

I used to go to the old El Fogon about 12 years ago, always liked it, and decided to try this newer version on a trip to David. This one is nicer and has air conditioning. I had a rib-eye streak which was tasty and tender by Panamanian standards. Ordering a cup of wine will get you a full pour! They don't skimp. The service was also very good, quick, polite, food all came out at the right times, hot, and flavorful. This is not a 5 star restaurant by any stretch. It's a family friendly steak and pasta restaurant that does what it does very well! It's a sure bet.

We have been here several times and really like this place. The times we have gone have been early afternoon and it has been relatively empty each time, so although the service was great not sure how it would be if they were busy. This time we started with the ceviche pescado which was great. For a main course I had the pernil asado and my wife had the pescado al fagon. The pork was a little tough and dry, but very tasty, and came with nice salad and crispy french fries. The pescado el fogon was wonderful. I would definitely get the fish again, but would take a pass on the pork. The atmosphere in the place is very nice.

Food tasted so fresh and chicken was so moist!! Great stop between Panama City and boquete while driving.

All the food we have had here is pretty good (this is our third or fourth visit). Atmosphere feels higher end than most David restaurants. The service is ok. Prices are a bit higher than I'd like but not unreasonable.

The Christmas ham, chicken and rice and chicken salad was AMAZING! Beautiful atmosphere and they make you feel sooo welcomed. Highly Recommended!

Not very good food and someone stole the gardenia umbrella that my mother with Alzheimer’s gave me. No apologies nada!!

It is a nice place, lots of tables and seats inside and a minority outside. Personnel very courteous, disabled parking 🅿️ (1 spot), few parking spots Quite empty at 3pm so is nice to avoid crowded places Nice club sandwich, Churrasco was not a churrasco, this steak 🥩 is boneless, the one served had one. Nice peach beverage as well as the lemonade..

My Family and I enjoyed having dinner here. The food was very flavorful and the attention we received was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.
