Phenomenal! The service, the food, all of it. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return!

The service was the best part of our dinner. The food was extremely underwhelming. We tried an appetizer, a salad, and two entrees with our wine and beer. I find it hard to pay $190 for a dinner for two that is the quality you’d get at Longhorn…actually I’ve had better at Longhorn. This is not meant to offend though to put in perspective the meal you’ll be getting for the price you’ll pay. Maybe we went on an off night and ordered the worst things on the menu, though, at those prices, there should be nothing bad on the menu.

As a disclaimer, I don't think my husband and I are the appropriate patrons for this restaurant. Low lighting, very quiet atmosphere, pricey menu. We wanted to try it since we always see it, but we'll never go back. I asked a question about the menu and the owner's response made me feel like an idiot. Also, they brought us bread in a basket and it was such a small serving of 4 pieces of bread that we honestly couldn't tell there was anything in the basket until we moved the napkin to uncover it. Our server was nice, she did a good job. The food we had (braised pork belly, spaghetti carbonara, and lobster risotto) was all good. The Moscato we had was good too, but at $15 a glass we stopped after the first glass. We just don't mesh well with this type of place.

Small Italian Restaurant. 1st time. Pasta fungi with cream sauce, truffle oil. Mind blowing. Elk chops and Mahi Mahi amazing. Bread, lacking. There are better options. Delicious wine and helpful staff.

Small, warm restaurant in Downtown Davidson. I recommend making a reservation. Their menu changes regularly so check their Facebook for the current menu. Portion of main entree is generous. Menu is ala carte so side dish and salad are an extra charge. Our appetizer was delicious, we had the fegato.

Service was excellent. Food was satisfactory. We arrived at 4/14/23 5pm for a 5:15 reservation. Stepped inside and the smell of cleaner / disinfectant was overwhelming. We asked the hostess about the smell, and she gave a snarky reply that 'well, the lady just mopped the floor'. As if we were being unreasonable for expecting fresh air during dinner.

Amazing gem of an Italian Restaurant. The service is great, the staff are polite and professional, and the food is fantastic. It’s difficult to find a place that makes actual Italian food in Charlotte. Most are just Americanized versions. Il Bosco however, delivers. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine.

Nice place with great service and ambience. The food was good. Great place for Italian thought on the pricey side.
