A very interesting experience. The boat tour lasts about 2 hours and you get to learn a lot on the history of pearl diving as well as modern methods of pearl culturing & harvesting from man-made farms. Cost (after discount): 150 AED.

A hidden gem, absolutely loved this tour. Took my 88y dad and my aunt. The booking process is straightforward and you can pay online ahead or else on the day of your booking. A reminder email is sent a day beforehand. The group is kept at 12 people. The staff is welcoming, friendly, helpful and the guide very knowledgeable. Not an overload of information, just the right amount - everyone was interested and captivated. It didn't feel like the common touristy trick tour with a bored guide where you are pushed to buy their product at the end. I hope they will keep it that way, authentic and sincere. Definitely worth the drive to RAK. Thank you!

Amazing off the beaten track experience. Beautiful boat ride across mangroves in a Traditional dhow boat, followed by a very interesting tour of a pearl farm, with all the history of the Arabian pearl diving tradition. Opportunity to buy beautiful pearls or shuck your own oyster and win a pearl! Option to add lunch or dinner. Must do for visitors or residents who want to escape the dubai glitz and glamour and see some authentic emirati culture/ history.

10/10 experience, definitely something to do when in Ras Al Khaimah. We learnt lots about Pearl farming and the guide was very good, it was also interactive and we got to see how oysters were opened to find pearls.

Really lovely experience learning about the history of pearl divers and how the pearls are farmed today. The staff were knowledgeable and the dinner we ordered was tasty. The boat ride to and from the farm was also peaceful and relaxing. We booked the last tour so we were able to enjoy the sunset which was gorgeous as the weather was nice. Highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience. While I've been on a Pearl farm tour before, this brings the experience to a next level. After taking the traditional boat to the Pearl farm, we get to understand and learn how pearl was reared, the 1% chance of finding a natural pearl or the 60% chance in cultured pearls, the history of the divers. We get on to an actual boat used by the traditional divers, with their equipment and living quarters exhibited. Then a showcase of the different pearls.

It was amazing experience, and worth every minute of your time. I came in a company of a big family, and each one of us, adults to little children got entertained by the amazing story telling of the history of the pearls. They have beautiful representations that help to understand everything. Even deaf people can enjoy the experience, by illustrations that they present and the beauty of the pearls that they show there!

We were so thrilled to see the place and wasn’t disappointed at all!!! Amazing place and great experience!! Huge thanks to OBID, he is a true professional and has been an attentive and helpful throughout the tour! Definitely recommend him to everyone and worth every penny we have paid for this trip. Obid was not just telling us interesting things about the place, but was very informative and never interrupted us, my son (7 yo) was asking a lot of questions, and as a professional, Obid was carefully answering them. Honestly, very difficult to impress my 7yo Harun 😅 however, once we left, he was impressed and said he would love to be back again. Also, Harun was lucky to find the pearl and it’s only 60% of chance, and he did it 🥰 Huge thanks for all who made our day today!!!

What do you get for your money? The tour is roughly 2 hours long, from which the dhow trip to the location is roughly one hour. The person giving the explanations is very knowlegeable and his English is very good. The location is excellent and, depending on the seasson, a lot of birds can be spotted. One can extend the duration of the trip if food is ordered. There is not much variety, but the food is good and plenty. If you want to know the menu, whatsup the contact person.

Must visit place preferably evening or in winter. You will get complete knowledge about the pearl life cycle and pearl diving. The presentation and customer service were great but I felt tour price is over priced. You have option to buy the Pearls or jwel with pearl. Definitely it's knowledge and helpful for kids.

A very good experience. Right from booking the tour, the person was very courteous and prompt. We arrived for the 10 am tour and the boat ride was around 20 min to the museum. The captain of the boat was also the one who explained about the history of pearl diving and the information about oysters and the type of pearls. We paid for the experience to pick out a Oyster and the captain then opened it and found the pearl. The children loved the experience and i would recommend the tour.

This is such a must do activity if you are visiting the UAE. The service was absolutely wonderful! If you get motion sickness easily, you could not feel it at all on the boat. The guides were so kind and informational. This was overall a wonderful experience!

I really love the concept of continuing the legacy of pearl farming/diving which is part of UAE's culture and history. Truly an educational one and I really enjoyed the experience. The tour operator and all the staff are commendable. Put this in your must-visit list in UAE!

This is one of the best experiences we had. Gets more knowledge about our old culture and how they used to do pearl harvesting. There is also live demonstration of how they used get pearls. We can also have good boat ride for about 20min one side. Also check for entertainers for good offers.

It’s a very nice farm, located 10 min away from RAK, just at the foot of the mountains. Very friendly staff, interesting story and wonderful views to the lagoon with mangroves and flamingos. Call them directly to book a trip, it can be payed by card.

One of the best guided tours I have been part of. They tell you the practical process as well as the fascinating history. Highly recommend this place. The route in the water is also very beautiful and in winters you will see many flamingos. Also, you can buy their pearls after the tour.

It was definitely a great experience! I Googled “things to do in Ras Al Khaimah” and this was the number one on the list. The boat ride was beautiful and you can definitely get some amazing views from it. Who knew that pearls in the UAE were a common income back in the 1900s. I’d definitely recommend this.

Suwaidi Pearls Tours is a must for anyone visiting the Middle East whether you are interested in peal farming or not. This tour is well thought out, enjoyable, with stunning mountain scenery, chances to see swimming turtles and to learn so much more about this amazing pearl cultivating process and tradition. It was worth every penny, and my entire family, young and old, enjoyed the talk, the boat ride, and wonderful seafood lunch. Thank you to the organizers for accommodating my daughter with her disability and accommodating my 80-year-old mother! I’m sure we will be back again!
